Chapter 14 - Frz the Cartographer ( Edited)

It put a smile on Frz's face, and he was over the moon to receive this good news.

He knows that drawing a map is difficult with his current condition. But knowing that he can draw again with the help of his system,.

It was encouraging news for him. It was a difficult experience for him to be an artist in his previous life while also being blind in this one.

Imagine you work as an artist for a living and then go blind the next day. Frz has previously struggled with acceptance.

"All right, Mr. B, activate the System Scan Feature." Frz request with face with filled of hope.  

[Enable the System Scanner]

[Scanning in 10 minutes; host advises not to move and to stay in one spot]

In front of him, a transparent floating hologram appeared. It appears to be a Google map from his previous life. He has the ability to zoom in and out. It made Frz open his mouth in a amazement.

"Wow, this is cool," Frz says. "Mr. B, where should I draw the map?"

[System Map Enabled]

[The host can begin to draw in the System map.]

[Click on the side button.]

Frz followed a few instructions from Yssa BB on how to draw the System Map.

"It's like drawing with a digital drawing application," Frz exclaimed in awe.

It made him satisfied and filled him with new hope for a better future. He guesses that in the near future he can see again based on the hints of his system panel. 

Frz spends 20 minutes learning how to use the tools to create the System Map.

The Frz speed was initially slow when he started drawing the map. However, the more he draws, the faster he becomes.

He immediately scans his surroundings using the System Scan Feature.

"Mr. B, please keep me updated on the mission's progress, "Frz ask with a smile on his face He was satisfied to be able to draw again.

Frz noticed that the temperature was starting to get cold.

"It's sunset, I need to find a place to stay for the night and cook dinner," Frz said to himself as he started to walk towards home.

"This host is an excellent and talented artist. If I didn't know he drew it, I'd think it was just a copy and paste from the System Scan Feature,"  Yssa BB said in amazement, and it made him happy that at least his host is talented at something. 

Frz begins to prepare the ingredients for his dinner. He begins to slice a strange-looking root crop. He didn't even wash it; he simply cut it and placed it in a clay pot.

He threw in some blue Wormlet meat and Ant demon horns. The blood of the red, ugly rabbit was then poured into the pot.

Yssa BB examines all of Frz's unique ingredients. He's not sure whether he'll laugh or cry.

"Perhaps my taste for food is so different in this world." Yssa BB said to himself as he realized something super important. 

If his host, Frz, heard it he would do a face palm, not knowing if he would laugh or cry. Why did his system not realize this earlier.

"Does it resemble blood soup? I'm not sure why he used blood instead of water when he had plenty of water. What is the name of this soup?" Yssa BB can't help asking, and then he realizes he can't question the host about it.

"I think I'll call it poisonous insect blood soup," Yssa BB said upon realizing he couldn't ask about it.

"Wow, this expands my world," Yssa BB said with a mocking smile on his face. And silently asking himself to be open minded of the new things.

Meanwhile, Frz was unaware that his system was acting like a food expert, providing feedback. He simply continues to cook in his unique style.

Frz looks for the best place to sleep after he finishes cooking his dinner.

It is dangerous to be in a forest at night. He searches for a specific type of tree and claims the top.

He tied himself to a branch with a rope. He understands that sleeping on the ground is dangerous for someone like him.

Many beasts hunt for food at night. Sleeping on the ground without a companion is also a no-no. The greatest likelihood of becoming beast food.

There are night-hunting flying beasts. However, as long as the person is tied to the tree, it is still safe.

A fly beast tries to lift him into the air if he is encased.

Frz discovered this the hard way. He was almost Snake Wolf food.
