We were lined up in a room that looked like a courtroom. Above us stood the Prince and on the left was the man who was probably his butler. "The judgement shall commence!" said the butler. "Now, all of you have been taken based on your skills and today the Prince shall award three of you with the badge of being his servants!". A small choir song began to play in the background and the butler stepped down onto our level. "Now then, you first what do you offer the great Prince?". I tried to see who it was but there was an adult blocking me from seeing the voice. "Nothing, give me my freedom" said the voice.

"Very well, guards, take this disgrace away!" he said stamping his feet against the floor. Two guards took the boy away and the doors were shut. "Now then, you there, what do you offer to the great Prince?".

No one spoke and the guards came again and took the girl away. "I've had enough of you brats, if you don't speak, you'll meet the others in the jaws of the beast!" he shouted frustrated. "Now you, what do you offer to the Prince!" he said to the guy standing next to me.

"I can make weapons" he said. The butler smiled and stepped back to look at the Prince who was also smiling. "Very well, I will wait to hear the others, if you are better than them then I will take you in as my servant now, Azaminus continue" said the Prince. The rest began to chat amongst themselves. "Silence!" he said stamping his feet again, "What do you offer to the great Prince?" he said to me. "I can hunt" I said. The butler turned around smiling and the Prince looked satisfied. "Very well, I shall also wait until I hear the others" he said. I smiled and the butler moved on to the next person.

Many others failed except for one other person I didn't get to see. I was taken into a spacious room but had two guards stationed outside my room. The butler came in and told me, "You will be accompanying the Prince on his hunt, get ready soon". I got my knife and left the room. I waited outside for about ten minutes until the Prince came. "So, what weapon do you use?" he asked. "A knife Prince" I responded struggling to control the horse. I looked up and saw a deer. I got off the horse and crouched down. The Prince took his bow out and pulled it back. He let go and it went into the deer's thigh. "Go finish it" he said. I crept up on it and stabbed it in the head. Blood spilled and it got onto my plain white shirt. "What an interesting way of hunting now, cut off it's head, I'll take this in as a trophy" he said. I cut it and a bit of it got onto my curly black hair. I had to carry the deer's head back to the castle but as I got onto the horse, I thick fog began to form. "Let's return quickly or else I'll get lost" he said speeding up on his white steed.

Suddenly, a giant figure emerged in the mist. As it came closer, a young beautiful woman appeared. "Who might you be" said the prince getting off his horse. As he approached, the woman's hair turned rock had and she turned into a golem. It picked up a dead tree and launched it at my horse. I jumped off the horse and narrowly dodged the tree. I searched for an opening in the creatures rock body but only found the eyes. I threw my knife at it's eyes to no avail. It blocked the knife and threw it away. I picked it back up and searched for another opening. The creature shrieked and ripped off a part of itself to throw at us. It scraped my leg and missed the prince narrowly. I ripped off a part of my shirt and tied it around my calf to stop the bleeding. I couldn't run anymore and the creature changed into a small, slender creature armed with sharp claws and charged at me. I lost grip of my weapon and closed my eyes preparing for the worst. I opened my eyes and saw a sword in the creatures head and above it was, Han. The creature fell and I stood up. "Why did you come?" I asked looking at the blue blood on my hand. "I'm sorry" he said.

"It's ok, I forgive my brothers" I said. We hugged it out and returned to the castle.

I then remembered something important. "Where's Pearl, or did she not get selected?" I asked. "Pearl is somewhere in the castle, I'm gonna rescue her then we'll continue our adventure" he said crouching. "We have to sneak into the castle without the guards noticing" he said walking along the walls. We went around to the back side and went in through a window. We opened the door and went along the wall. Luckily, the stairs were right next to us so we went up. The butler Azamimus or something was across the corridor. We waited until he went up the second set of stairs. The servant rooms were on the third floor which was where he was right now and where Pearl probably was. We snuck through and waited next to the bottom of the curved stairs. I could hear footsteps getting quieter and so we went upstairs. As I turned the corner, I came face to face with the butler. "What are you doing, Taragmenos?" he asked, "And where's the prince?".

"The prince is in his room and I'm going to mine, this other servant saved us from a monster and is also going back to his" I said.

"I'll go check for the prince, go on" he said walking down the stairs.
