Tattoo's (Hiro/James)

Since I met James, my life had completely turned upside down, in a good way not gonna lie, but enough to throw me for a loop. It was more of an adventure that I craved every time I was away from him. I fell for him so quickly it was like I fell out of a building and he caught me. Though it made me hate that my world was shrouded in darkness and I wasn't able to see him. I made do.

Our first meeting was far from magical as my head was almost taken off by his shield as he was using it as a frisbee, luckily I could sense it before there was any damage done to my head. I smile as I remember him apologizing profusely while I assure him it was okay. It was hard to find you after that with how many people there are and the number of voices and sounds there are. I bumped into him, literally, and we talked for hours and I learned he was the son of Captain America and then he taught me all about the avengers as once he found out I had no idea who they were. He made sure I learned. I found myself pulled in by his voice and I couldn't care less he talked about them for hours. I could tell he was very fond of them all, them being a found family after all.

Once we got closer I found myself being wrapped up in his arms more often, I was not complaining, and cuddling was a daily occurrence. Unfortunately, so was him going to the Medical tent for the injuries he gets. Most from protecting me as he can't get his thick noggin around that I can sense when things are coming at me.

Today though, I can't find him anywhere and it's starting to worry me, making my tail flick around nervously. Enyo quickly takes my hands, sensing I was nervous, and takes me to a spot, and sits me down on a blanket on the ground. She knows this calms me as she describes things to me. It's one of the favorite elements of my day because the camp is truly beautiful and the way Enyo describes things is moving as I cling to everything she tells me. James describes things for me as well when I ask him too though.

Sometime later, I heard familiar footsteps approaching us, crunching over leaves and the grass. I knew who it was instantly and I stood up quickly to go towards him. I'm pulled into his arms before I have a chance to move. I smiled fondly and my arms wrap around his waist.

"Hey, Hiro! Thank you, Enyo for keeping him company," his voice warms me up as he thanks Enyo.

"Of course James. We planned to hang out today anyways so I just got my fill and he's all yours now," I can hear her giggle before placing her hand onto my shoulder, to say goodbye, my tail wraps around her wrist in an equal gesture before I hear her footsteps retreating from us.

"Where'd you go today?" the curiosity is strong and it shows in my voice, I pull him down onto the blanket while I hold his two hands in mine, feeling every faint and new scar that decorates his hands. I hear him chuckle and he squeezes my hands gently.

"I went out of the camp today with Sierra and Roy to get something to surprise you," he says and his tone is happy and I can tell that he's blushing just from how he's talking. My hands travel up his arms as I come closer and I climb onto his lap, my hand brushes against something that's raised on his wrist. I know it's new because I've never felt it before.

"What is it?" I say as my hand inspects and feels his wrist in concern thinking it's an injury he hadn't told me about. His other hand runs up and down my side in a calming way that I've grown used to. It immediately calms me down and I melt into his chest. "Did you get hurt here?" I ask in concern but it feels different than a wound as my hand brushes over it.

"Nope!" He says happily, "it's my new tattoo, it's the date of when we first met." His voice is happy and so full of love. Tears spring to my eyes as I feel over the raised tattoo with my thumb as I realize it is a date.

"Do you like it... baby why are you crying?!"

"Because I love it. Thank you so much," my fingers continue to feel over it, loving the feeling of it on his skin as I relish in finally being able to feel one of his tattoos as I knew he had many others, I had never been able to fully feel them. His hand came up to wipe away my tears as he kissed one of my ears than my head.

"I love you so much," he says before kissing my cheek, wrapping his free arm around my waist. My tail wraps around his torso gently to caress him as I move my head up to face him. He leans down to meet my lips with his, kissing me softly before smiling against my mouth.

"I love you too, James," I say softly pulling back slightly our breaths still mingling together as I speak ending with a smile. My ears brush against his neck and my thumbs rub the tattoo already obsessed with the feeling of it. James lays back onto the blanket keeping me on top of him as I hum in contentment. Taking in his presence along with the soft breeze that blows over the two of us. I close my eyes and my ears twitch at all the sounds that filter through them and James's calm breathing is the loudest and I smile happily.

"Could we go back and I get the same tattoo as you so we can match?" I ask softly after thinking about it for a few minutes. I can feel his head move to look at me, kissing my temple. I turn over so I'm laying on my stomach, still laying on him. I kiss his lips softly and he makes a small noise of affirmation.

"I'd love that Hiro," his response makes me excited and I kiss his lips again my hands traveling up to caress his cheeks. "We can go whenever you'd like to." His hands caressed the back of my head as he spoke, his hands running through my hair.

"Tomorrow?" I ask in a hopeful tone.

He laughed loudly, "Tomorrow is perfect," I nod satisfied and I nuzzle my face against his neck.

"Your perfect," I say softly as I feel myself being slowly lulled to sleep.

"Not as perfect as you, Hiro." I just catch his response before sleep fully takes me, I fall asleep with a smile.
