A/N: For the characters Cever is mine and he isn't from any fandom. Enyo is my friend's oc from the adventures of Merlin there is also another one of my friends OC's in this who is from the same fandom.

Cever's POV

It's been months since I've seen my lover, Enyo. I've been away on quest after quest to help save the supernatural creatures of this world because apparently, humans of this reality have poor judgment and a problem with judging before getting to know people.

My longing for Enyo these past few months and the confusion of being brought to a different reality in their 21st century has gotten to me more than I would like to admit.

Snapping me from my thoughts, I heard the yelling in the distance from the camp I had taken residence in since I was brought via magic that brought me to a different reality, with a handful of my knights, it was a change but everyone I had come to call family was in there, my love was in there.

My team and I were traveling, on horses and foot, through the dense forest surrounding the camp but hearing the shouting had us all moving faster. I had been walking next to my horse as a slightly injured knight was riding on it. We came out of the forest to see it all in ruins.

There was fire everywhere but it had miraculously not touched the surrounding trees. Impulsively, I rushed away from my horse and into the fray the knights following behind me. I was frantically looking around trying to spot the one face that would give me hope, I needed to see her, to know she was safe.

"Cever they're attacking!!! We must help them!" a knight to my left cried out, he had caught up with me.

It broke me out of my fear-driven haze and snapped me back to reality. As I ran into the battle everyone else was there, already fighting. Nobody noticed we had gotten there to help until I yelled a warning over to Elodie for her to watch out for the attacker she had missed, she turned in surprise and yelled back, "thanks!" then she pointed towards the large med-tent we had up at all times.

I sighed, relieved I now knew where Enyo was. Elodie always knows what everyone needs and giving meaning to the name, pack mom, I chuckled a bit at that thought.

"Many thanks, Elodie!" I yelled through all of the chaos.

"Your welcome!" she yelled over her shoulder in response. I could then hear her growl in the distance as she pounced on someone else to attack.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the rest of the battle raging but I trained my sights on the large white tent. I rushed over there, dodging the others fighting against humans left and right, to see Enyo come out, even though there was dirt and grime mixed in with a little bit of blood on her face but even then I found her breathtakingly beautiful.

I ran faster determined to hold her in my arms again when she spotted me. On her face was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen, she turned fully towards me but my eyes focused on something behind her, or rather someone. The stranger swung at her head with what looked like a club and my whole world narrowed down to just her and before registering what had happened her body crumpled and I sped up, even more, to catch her before worse damage was inflicted.

When I caught her, I cradled her body and scooped her up to rush into the tent when the same tosser (please look up old English insults because I was looking for one and I found so many that were hilariously funny) finally realized I was there, he swung at my arm and I heard the crunch before really feeling it.

Screaming in rage and pain had caught the attention of Nico Darte the grey werewolf that was apart of Elodie's small pack. He had run over in a flash and without warning bit the other worthless human's head off. I muttered a small thanks and his big wolf head nodded once before running off to continue fighting. I turned and went the rest of the way into the tent.

Enyo's POV

- a few minutes earlier-

I needed air and helping for hours with the injured campers in the stuffy tent didn't help matters. I had put down the rag I was holding and slowly walked outside.

Outside wasn't much better than the inside of the tent I'd been in for the last few hours but at least it wasn't overcrowded, I laughed quietly at the thought. Looking out into the battlefield my eye's stopped on a beautifully familiar face one I hadn't seen in months. He was making his way over here in a sprint. Cever, my love was here alive and in one piece! It was such a relief that I could feel my face light up and shift from solemn to happiness. We locked eyes and immediately saw most of the tension leave his shoulders as he ran faster. It was short-lived though as his expression immediately hardened again, seconds later white-hot pain exploded in the back of my skull and I could feel my body crumple to the ground unconscious.

Cever's POV

Stopping at the entrance of the tent, I took it all in, it was utter chaos for how powerful some supernatural creatures were there were a lot of injured from our side. Remembering how everything looked outside I remembered guns and bats and the humans must have taken everyone by surprise. The thought of them attacking us while not everyone was there to protect the camp and its residents makes my anger spike higher but the throbbing pain in my arm brought me back to what was important to me at the moment.

I frantically looked for an open spot to put Enyo down when I did find one I put her down and Dawn rushed over to see what had happened.

"She just left what happened to her!?" Dawn's eyes immediately went to her head started gently feeling her head to find out where the injury was and when her hand pulled away from the back of Enyo's head, covered in blood she stared down at it for a few seconds in fright but quickly composed herself and rushed to get bandages and a wet cloth to clean it.

Someone had put a hand on my shoulder that made me jump with fright until I turned and it was Elodie's kind but rough features. She was looking at me with a kind smile as she got on her knees and slowly motioned for me to sit down and turn towards her, and her hands slowly ghosted over my broken arm, she had bandages and started wrapping my arm trying to make my arm more comfortable. I was staring at her in confusion, I thought she had more important things to do than take care of me, as this young woman who took care of everyone and was more mature than young women of her age should be.

"Shouldn't you be fighting Elodie? They must need you out there?" I had asked in confusion, she only looked at me gently and shook her head.

"The fighting is over. The humans retreated shortly after you and your group of knights got here because once they either saw or heard about what happened and where you were they went crazy and fought super hard. They care about you a lot," I could feel pride fill my body hearing about my knights and how they helped.

"Well, I'm their king." She looked at me and laughed softly.

"You can't deny you guys aren't friends though."

"Your quite right. And I wish I could've helped but Enyo is my top priority and her being injured is all my fault," I looked away ashamed. Elodie paused and looked at me.

"No Cever it isn't your fault. Things like this happen and it sucks but none of this is our fault. If you wanna blame someone, blame the stupid humans," she said angrily while getting up from the ground having finished tending to my arm, "well the pack and I are on clean-up duty so I'm gonna go. Rest up cause that arm needs time to heal and Dawn will probably check on you in a bit." She walked all the way to the entrance and looked back at me while motioning with her eye's toward Enyo's sleeping form in the bed next to me and with that turned and strolled away.

-----------------5 minutes later----------------

I had found a chair and placed it next to her and hadn't been sitting there for very long until Dawn came around to check on me. Her job must be one of the hardest in the camp, being in charge of the medical team. In the huge white medical tent, everyone had helped put up when we had all come to the camp.

It was supposed to be safe here.

"Hey, Cever. Is everything alright?" Dawn said surveying my face. I looked up at her and I could feel tears start to slowly fall down my face but I immediately moved to wipe the tears away, I am a king no one should see me cry but Enyo. "You know it's ok to be vulnerable. It's good for ya to cry sometimes. Helps when your mind can't think of anything to say." She interrupted my thoughts and I took those words in and the tears quickened until I was sobbing uncontrollably.

"With the head injury though. I am almost a hundred percent sure she'll wake up but with how hard and with the placement of the hit memory loss is something that could happen," at those words my head snapped to look at Enyo and her sleeping face was looking so peaceful but to think she might wake up and not remember me at all, I felt pain already start in my chest and it hadn't even happened yet.

"Memory loss," I croaked out quietly. Dawn's hand patted my shoulder in sympathy then bent over to look at my bandages on my arm.

"Elodie did do a good job with these," Dawn nodded looking at them appreciatively, "Cever I wish I knew at the moment but I can't heal it until I know for sure she does or if it's even permanent. My powers only go so far."

I nodded and smiled sadly at her, "I know you try your hardest Dawn." She smiled and turned to look at Enyo again before silently nodding and walking away to check on different patients.

For a bit, I watched Dawn and the other campers on the medical team move around, checking on patients, and thankfully none of them came over. Then looking at the others got tiring and I slightly moved my body to look at Enyo's sleeping form, looking so peaceful. I wanted her to wake up but was dreading what might happen if she did.

So I sat down and waited for her to wake up.

——————time skip—————

I had sat next to my love for two weeks with no signs of her waking up and I could feel everyone's concern growing but I knew not just for Enyo but also for me. I had slept in a chair every night and only really left to use the toilet or when someone had to drag me away to change my clothes or make me bathe.

I felt numb.

My knights had come to check on me as well as Elodie and Hiro, Enyo's best friend had come to visit many times, we never talked just sat in comfortable silence, we weren't ever too close but I had always had respect for him as he seemed like a nice lad. Enyo liked him and they always went into the forest and sat in a clearing to talk or as Enyo says it gossiping. I chuckled sadly at the thought.

Aine also came to visit and she sat with me most days. We talked a bit but not too much she sported the same expression as me, numb, sad, empty. She has known Enyo longer than I have, being brought here together. They had already established a relationship with each other that the campers here referred to, a friend with benefits relationship, which I had no problem with because it didn't bother me in the slightest.

I miss her. I was gone for months and when I get back, I don't even get to hear her voice before she's taken from me. The event replays in my head every waking minute and when I do get any sleep my mind twists it into terrifying nightmares, so I try not to sleep anymore.

A loud noise brought me out of my thoughts and my head snapped up in alarm to see it was Dawn, she had accidentally dropped a box with metal supplies in it, I didn't care what it was but looking around I could see there were fewer people in the medical tent then I remembered but then again I hadn't looked or paid attention to them too often, so focused on Enyo to even pay attention to the dwindling number of patients there was.

A squeeze of the hand had caught me off guard and I looked down quickly to see if I had imagined it, for being here so long without proper care I didn't think me imagining it couldn't have been far off, but I hadn't. Enyo unconsciously squeezed my hand again as her eyes slowly fluttered open, I gasped in surprise which caught the attention of Dawn, who had been cleaning up what she had dropped, and Aine who was sitting in a chair on the other side of the bed. She rushed over and went to the other side of Enyo to check the bandages and to do a check-up to see if this was alright and healthy.

"Dawn! It's happening! She's waking up!" I nearly shouted which cause Enyo to groan at the loud sound which made Dawn smile softly at me nodding, Aine smiled brightly down at Enyo.

"What's happening? Where am I?" Enyo mumbled in confusion as she looked up at us dazed. Dawn looked a bit concerned while Aine looked at me and Enyo with an expression full of shock and worry.

"Enyo you were injured and are in the medical tent because of a fight that had happened in camp," Dawn looked over at me, "confusion is normal with head wounds she should be fine in a bit."

"My love, are you alright." I encased her hand with mine and smiled at her softly. She looked at me with a startled gasp, no recognition in her eyes. She looked wildly around until her eyes spotted Aine and she moved closer to where Aine sat near the bed.

"Who are you?" She asked bluntly as her hand had found Aine's. I felt my heart sink as those words came out of her mouth.

Dawn looked worried but put on a composed expression, "Can you tell me your name and where you think you should be," she asked with a professional tone. Aine looked at me with pity clear in her eyes, I'm sure my face matched my feelings, heartbroken.

"My name is Enyo and I should be in Camelot with Aine and my brother," she stated firmly but it was underlined with the confusion and fear of where she was. "Where are we Aine?" Enyo's head turned to look at Aine, who looked at Enyo with a comforting smile and put a hand on her shoulder, with her voice was laced with fear.

Dawn looked thoughtful and started pacing around the tent and mumbling, "Camelot... only Aine... memory loss... be permanent... could come back... might need help... might not... treat it... how." I watched Enyo looking between Dawn, Aine, and me, I could see her gears turning trying to make sense of what was happening as it was all being laid out in front of her as Dawn mumbled not so quietly from where she was pacing.

"Dawn!" She stopped pacing to look at me, "will it be permanent?" I asked quietly wanting a good answer but by the way, Dawn looked at me with sympathy and uncertainness clouding her features.

"I couldn't tell you. It's all matter of time," she looked down sadly.

My mind stopped at everything that happened and all I could think was,

Please remember me!
