Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range, Nura Headquarters

Beside the large old-style Japanese mansion, stood a tree unique to this world, the color can be described as soft champagne pink, when looked from afar it would look seem as Pink clouds stuck in clusters around the branches.

The Nura House's sakura tree's blossoms blow off in the wind, a figure can be seen sitting on top.

It was none other than Hannya.

He was currently reminiscing about his past life back on Earth. Growing up, He was surrounded by a wide variety of yakuza's - many of whom watched after him at his grandfather's behest. He frequently pulled pranks on them, and viewed his grandfather and the yakuza world with a sense of awe.

When he was 5, his father was assassinated by one of the most deadly sniper in the underground world. Because of that, the only one left to inherit the position was him.

As a child, he was excited at the prospect of succeeding his grandfather and becoming the Clan's Third Head until the age of 12.

Some of his memories were gone around the age of 13 until he reached the age of 16, he was told that it was because of an 'accident' so he didn't dwell too much about it.

On his 18th birthday, he was about to officially succeed the position, it's supposed to be a happy event yet instead of happy memory it became an unforgettable nightmare, what he witnessed was a massacre.

A huge killing intent swirled inside of him but in a few minutes he was able to calm himself, sighing he closed his eyes and silently vowed to become stronger so he will never be in the same situation again.

At the edge of the waterfall, a topless figure was currently swinging his sword towards the screen of water that looked humongous exerting a huge amount of pressure. On his back an image of buddha surrounded by Asura and Devas signified his identity as ; Yakuza.

Hannya came to this place to train his sword skills.

All his profound devil core strength was being released without reservation in every slash.

His figure seemed especially miniscule under this gigantic screen of water. Although the height of this waterfall wasn't too ridiculous, the force of the water crashing down was still enough to easily smash one's body into pieces.

There were no physical changes. However, Hannya felt it instinctively.

He changed the way he held the sword. He increased the gap between his legs and gripped the sword with more strength, made a clear trajectory with the sword.

A small part of the water screen was split.

Setsura who was admiring his figure on the side made a sound. Hannya was enjoying it a little bit and asked acting cool, "What is it?"

"No, I just felt like you've become more handsome."

So, he tilted his head to the side. His face seemed like he had heard something incomprehensible.

"So, that's it?" He thought that she noticed his strength , he even felt a bit high and mighty.

"Yeah, so how about we go back and drink sake, just the two of us." Added Setsura with a smile while licking her lips.

"Not this time, I need to train." With that reply he continued his training.

He need to become stronger. He would move forward faster than anyone else.

This fact was very important. Hannya couldn't do anything unless he was strong.

Let's assume that modern people entered the world of the 'Against the Gods'. How would he become the ruler if he doesn't have strength.

Of course, he would collect talents. No matter what, he would try to secure talents that would help him together with his soon to arrive hundred demons.

But there was one problem. It was meaningless if he know where to find them but doesn't have strength to make them submit in defeat or in awe.
