Ch4 Getting a Manual 1

It's been four hours.

With this body, I can't even walk for more than four hours. ( that's how bad my stamina was )

Let's get logical. can I walk four hours in my previous life(no!). So this is an improvement but is it enough for the first-year student in the Academy(fuck no!)

This problem can be solved when I find the elixir.

By the way, I still couldn't find the cave. In the novel, it was written that the cave was on the back side of the mountains but it didn't specify the exact location.

Seeing up close these mountains are quite huge and luckily I have been avoiding monsters till now. I have seen some goblins in far. I should say, they are ugly and terrifying.

Whenever I find monsters I always have to take a detour to find a safer path. When I go deeper into the mountains I started noticing that monsters are not afraid of large trees.

So I have to be always alert.

And I don't even know the exact location of the cave.

Let's say When u went to a new place for an office trip and again went to the same place with your friends after six months. Can u remember every place you visited with directions?

No right? Then how can I fucking find a cave in these unknown mountains which I read about in a novel?

Still, if I don't find this manual I will be fucked, so I started searching for every part I can think of.

And it suddenly started raining heavily. So all I can do is run for shelter in this rain. ( yea, I am gonna blame this on my luck )

If I run into the deep thick forest-like trees I may run into monsters ( safety first! )

So I started moving to open areas, that there are covered with rocks if I can find a big enough rock I can take shelter under it.

After running for a while I found a shelter under a big rock. I sat under it.

The rain was too heavy I can't even see anything outside. And it's already night it makes even more difficult to see.

I will be honest with you. " I am scared right now"

Alone in a mountain full of monsters and it's night with heavy rain. ( a nerd like me should be scared, right? )

I can only hear the rain sound. And it's really cold here, I feel really sleepy my eyes are hurting. I trying as hard as I can to not fall asleep here.

I slapped myself to control my body. Because if I slept now I will be done for. I can't guarantee that monsters don't approach me now.

As I am fighting with myself suddenly the rain stopped and now it became all silent.

I am freezing right now.

I have to be awake if I want to live. After many hours the sun has come up. The Sunrise was really beautiful but I don't have the time to complement it.

Then I got up from my place and was ready to leave. But that's when I noticed a goblin resting under a rock which was about 100 meters away.

Maybe because of the rain, I didn't notice it. Luckily it was still sleeping so I wanted to leave this area quietly but my feet were still numb so I slipped and fell down

Damn it! I cursed inside my head

I quickly take a look at the goblin and it already noticed me.

Grrrrr

Sorry buddy I never meant to wake u up but u see

Mistakes happen and I hope u didn't get angry.

I was talking like an idiot to the goblin.

But the goblin grabbed its small sword and rushed towards me.

Grrr

Before I can think my body is already running in the opposite direction.

I don't dare to fight with a goblin almost at the same level as me(G-)

I am running as fast as I can but the goblin seems to be faster. The distance between us is decreasing

I have to think of another plan before its too late

I am an idiot! I should have thought this thoroughly may be reading too many novels made me think that I am some kind of hero. I started blaming myself.

Because of the rain, the ground was slippery and before I know it I already fell on the ground

Goblin jumped at me. At the same time, I took out my sword and tried to block its attack.

I was barely able to save my shoulder from ripping off

I tried to push the goblin away from me but it was strong. I tried with all my might to stop its sword. Then with the other hand, I took the sand from the ground and tossed on it's eyes.

So the goblin finally got off me. I also quickly got up and swing my sword at the goblin since it can't see me, my attack went in but it didn't have enough strength to kill the goblin.

Now the goblin was very angry

Grrrrrrrr, it shouted.

We both are injured.

Come at me bitch! I shouted at the goblin while swinging my sword again.

Grr

This time I tried to stab it. But the goblin dodged it.

It started attacking me again but this time I tried to block its attack but my sword got broken. How can be so unlucky?

Grr

This time it tried to stab me and I let the goblin to stab me in the same left shoulder which was injured before. With the remaining piece of the sword, I pierced the goblin's neck

Finally, it's over!

I removed the sword from my shoulder and ripped my shirt off and tied it to the injury to stop the bleeding.

I took a quick scan to see if there are any other monsters in the surrounding. Luckily there are none!

the smell of blood can attract the monsters. I have to quickly leave this area.

When I am about to leave. I saw a cave which is covered with vines.
