Chapter 4

NAGLALARO ako ng bubbles nang may biglang kumatok sa pinto ng bathroom.

"Hey lady, my master wants me to check if you're still alive."

Natawa ako sa sinabi ng robot.

"You've been inside for 2 hours, 41 minutes and 11 seconds.."

"What? That long?" Nasabi ko nalang.

Nag-e-enjoy man, tumayo na ako sa bathtub para magbanlaw.

Sobra akong nandiri sa kakabuyan ni Janessa that it took me almost 3 hours to take a bath.

Halos magsugat ang balat ko sa pag-scrub kanina.

After kong magbanlaw, that's when I realized wala akong damit na masusuot. Ngunit may nakita akong bath rob, na may naka-embroid na Hades.

Sinuot ko 'yon.

"Nini?" Tawag ko sa robot. Para sana utusan siyang dalhan ako ng damit.

I tried calling her a few more times but no robot came.

Perhaps, susunod lang siya sa boses ng amo niya. Maybe that's how that techie stuff works.

I finally stepped out of the wide bathroom and headed to a part of this house where the delicious smell is coming from.

"Wow!" Di ko napigilan ang sarili pagkakita sa buffalo wings na nakahanda sa mesa.

Hades, who was busy doing something at the counter, turned to me.

Nakita ko ang pagkailang sa mga mata niya ng tingnan ako at mabilis na umiwas ng tingin.

"I have no choice. Alangan lumabas akong walang suot?" Sabi ko agad as if guilty.

"Wala naman akong sinabi," he said. Still not looking at me.

"Nini, take her to my room." Tapos bumaling siya sa akin, "Habang naliligo ka kanina, Nini washed your clothes."

"Nice, you did it?" Tanong ko sa robot.

"I used a robotic machine. It was easy peasy." Nilagpasan ako ng robot kaya sinundan ko siya.

Pagkarating ko sa kwarto ni Hades, hindi matapos tapos ang pagkamangha ko sa interior design.

His room was a mix of color white and grey in a modern way. There are paintings and other stuff that make the whole room look aesthetic yet again very modern.

"I'll leave you in a bit, lady."

I was touched. The robot indeed has good manners. Nagbihis agad ako pagkaalis niya.

Suot ko ulit ang uniform ko. After that, pinuntahan ko si Hades sa kitchen.

Umupo ako sa dining table. I looked at Hades. "Papakainin mo ba ako? Or do you want me to leave now?"

Nakangisi si Hades nung humarap siya.

"Of course, you're my visitor."

"Bakit pala?" tanong ko.

He's done preparing the food. Buffalo flavored chicken wings and sea foods mix (shrimp and crabs with corn). My mouth is watering just by the smell of them.

"Bakit ako yung kinuha mo kanina? I thought you will mock at me—" hindi pa man ako tapos magsalita, sumagot na siya.

"I did that to make Janessa stop being into me."

Ohhh. Okay, that makes sense. Pinamukha niya kay Janessa na hindi talaga siya pipiliin. But wait...

"That will provoke Janessa even more. Lalo akong pag-iinitan non?"

He smirked. "Finally, you get the point. That's why I'm treating you in advance."

Napangisi ako. "Ayos ka din ha."

Sumandok ako ng marami. Napatingin siya sakin. Since kakawawain na naman ako nung tatlo, lulubus-lubusin ko na.

We didn't talk much after that. Mas madalas ko pa ngang kinakausap yung robot.

Pero aaminin ko, for the very first time, I felt like I gained a friend. Kung friend nga bang maituturing.
