Layla frowned at the misunderstanding and started explaining "Oh no hehe, you've got it all wrong, I just met.." "That's right my dear you are seated in the presence of the most beautiful couple you will ever meet, and this date of yours, I find it hilarious that you missed your date, do you mind telling us what happened?" Jaden interrupted, he was getting more and more irritated as time went by, this girl should have just left, what did she think she was doing sitting down and disturbing their moment, he had to find a way to make her leave. Layla wanted to say something but Jaden held her hand under the table to make her shut up.

"I know right? You guys are a perfect match from heaven, just sitting here looking pretty and dashing with no care in the world, and as for my date, we were gonna meet here for the first time, I was so excited, everything was already planned out, but at the nick of time confusion stepped in, everything started going wrong, the dress I ordered for my date delayed for a long time and I couldn't find the gift I prepared for him, it just disappeared, I exhausted myself looking everywhere for it and just as my dress arrived, I found the gift and excitedly called Jaden to inform him I would still make it, I was about to leave, but my parents visited, I had to rush them off but they still took my time just bugging me for no reason, they left and I went outside and to my greatest dismay, my car wasn't washed, my driver started washing it and when he was done, we left immediately.

The car broke down on the road and while checking my phone to call a mechanic or even borrow a friend's car, I noticed my phone was dead, so I couldn't call Jaden, I've told my driver never to bring his phone when driving me around so there was no hope for me, I desperately wanted to make it for my date and as my driver went out to look for a mechanic I stepped out too and tried to see if I could get an Uber, pathetic right? I found one after five minutes and told him to drop me at grande cuisìne, he agreed and I got in and since I was exhausted I started sleeping, a frightful dream woke me up, it was an embarrassing one, I can't share it hihi, so I was wondering why we hadn't arrived yet and when I looked outside, the only thing I felt was shock, this driver was taking a completely different direction, the first thought I had in mind was that I was being kidnapped, I told the driver this wasn't were I was going, this was just so opposite, la grande cuisine was east of the city but we were west now, heading north! He told me he thought I said I was going to the empire, hello, can you even imagine? I don't look like the empress!, empire and grande cuisìne have no similarities, it's either this man was crazy or drunk, I told him to bring me here as fast as he could, he turned back and sped up, I think he was going a little bit too fast because the police stopped us and it seemed like they had been looking for this man, and if at all they let him go, it will take a while, so when they weren't focused on me, I found a way and escaped, it wasn't far from here and getting another Uber will be hectic, so I trekked all the way here and went in right away to the room we booked and it was empty, I almost broke down, lucky for me, I took a nap in the taxi so after trekking for a while only my feet hurt and I was just a little bit exhausted, I asked one of the waiters in charge of the VVIP section if he had seen any handsome young man enter or leave that place and he said the man left about 30minutes ago, I ordered some food because I was famished, are and was about to leave before my eyes spotted Mr Jordan here who bears quite some resemblance to my boyfriend, so that's why I came over. " Sophia finally finished her unending, uninterrupted story "Serves you right" Jaden muttered "Oh wow, you've had one hell of a day poor thing" Layla sympathized with Sophia as she seemed to enjoy every part of the story, Layla didn't mind if she sat here all day listening to Sophia.

She had been so focused that she finished her salad unknowingly, their shrimp was finally ready and one of the waiters placed the first tray before Layla and the other was about to put the second tray in front of Sophia, Jaden wouldn't hear of it, "that should be mine Mr waiter," he said and immediately dragged the food to his side Sophia was a little disappointed this good looking man didn't even try to act like a gentleman, " he should at least let me refuse myself," she thought, Layla found this funny " miss you haven't ordered anything, what will you want us to get for you, please" one of the waiters bowed and asked Sophia "I'm fine, I already ate and thank you for asking" The waiters bowed and left. "Are you sure you don't wanna try this, Sophia? It's really good trust me and I'm Layla by the way" Layla said "Oh Layla, but I'm already full" Sophia smiled, she had finally found someone she could relate with, Layla was caring while this handsome man didn't seem to care, she had to make him at least notice her in a good way. " Oh come on, just a bite won't hurt" Layla urged "ok fine, Mr. Jordan will you do me the honors?" She turned to Jaden hoping that he would feed her just a little " But you can have mine" Layla was about to say, Jaden was losing his patience, he needed to find a way to get this nosy woman out of here, and besides he needed time alone with his new friend, " Miss Sophia I would rather you made your order, I can't feed you from my plate Infront of my girlfriend, don't you know it's inappropriate? Have a sense of decency at least". Sophia's heart skipped a bit, this man she was trying so hard to seduce thought she was shameless and she couldn't help but feel hurt. The whole place became silent and Layla didn't like this atmosphere, she opened her mouth to speak, Jaden looked at her and she changed her words "I'll just go and tell the waiter" "Thank you honey" Sophia said and before Jaden could stop her she was gone, " Jordan we're friends right? Hope you don't mind giving me your number so we can always link up anytime, my family is rich and I'm a very fulfilled and hardworking lady too, I think we might have some things in common" Sophia said trying to use her sweetest voice but Jaden was so infuriated, this pompous lady was taking Layla's kindness for granted and now she was using a lame excuse to hit on him, how did he ever even become interested in someone like her in the first place, he couldn't imagine himself with someone so annoying and didn't bother to hide the fact that he didn't like her anymore "miss Sophia you should leave, you're ruining my moment with my girlfriend" he said.

Sophia's heart was now completely broken hatred started bubbling from the depths of her soul and it was directed towards Jaden but Layla, she just hated her for being so lucky, she hated her for having such a beautiful god as a boyfriend, she hated that innocent look she had, Layla was even more beautiful than anyone she had ever seen and she seemed like one young lady from a high class, Sophia could only curse her inwardly, but maintained a straight face, she didn't want to leave just yet, she wanted to at least leave a nice impression on this handsome man and all he could do was humiliate her, she was about to say something but Layla suddenly appeared and she shut her mouth.

Layla was aware of how awkward things had turned and a was little disappointed, she tried to brighten up their mood "Sophia, we should go for a game later if you aren't busy" Layla said, Sophia was in no mood to entertain this person she hated so much "thanks but I'll pass, I have to go and meet my parents and besides, I don't like games, they are lame" Jaden's eyes narrowed a bit and he asked, "what about football, wrestling, hiking, skating, reading, climbing, cooking, biking, drawing, fishing and other things?" "Oh no, I don't like any of those, what I love is modeling, shopping, drinking, sleeping, clubbing, watching TV, I don't even like cooking and these things you mentioned, I don't like any of them " Jaden and Layla were both shocked, Layla was a bit shocked but didn't voice it out because she didn't want to sound rude or hurt Sophia.
