A Stomp on the foot, a Pinch on the Thigh

Susu frowned slightly when she saw Tian Yuo coughing in pain. Ariana stopped her from getting out of the car by convincing her that if she went to his side now, he will definitely think that he holds a chance to be with her. Trouble will be coming after her if she gets out now to help him.

Susu nodded and obediently waited for Chen Mu to head back to the car. The first thing that Chen Mu did when he got back to the car was to hold Susu's hands and see if they were warmer than before.

"Good, your hands are warm now." Chen Mu hugged her close while Susu stared intently at his hands.

"How come I never knew that you knew how to fight? And how come you hit Tian Yuo so hard that he is dropped dead weeping on the floor, yet your knuckles are okay?" She checked each finger of his on both hands to make sure there weren't any broken bones or skin.

"Pffft, first of all, it is called self-defense. He provoked me and swung his arms at me. He missed, but my knuckles didn't miss at all. Ah, as for why my knuckles are fine and he is squirming on the floor~"

Chen Mu took out a glove with spiked knuckle rings. "Don't worry, he wont die from these plastics made spikes. All he needs are painkillers and some bruise ointments."

"Phew, I was about to say to call an ambulance for him if those were legit spikes." Susu patted her chest and could finally relax.

"Wait! How did you guys know that I was here?"

Ariana raised her hand, "it was me. I did it. These two guys were questioning my hacking skills, so I demonstrated using Chen Mu's phone. Since you were the last person he called and messaged, your GPS location popped right up on the screen."

"But how did you guys know that I might be in danger? And that I am not just going out for a drive?"

Ariana laughed softly, "Ahahaha, that is also on me. Since I started hacking, I couldn't be a half-ass and stop midway. So I checked the cameras at the condo building to have Chen Mu see if you took the car. He said you only mentioned going to a nearby cafe which was within walking distance."

Ariana gulped loudly as if she had done something wrong, "and ..also because the GPS location that I hacked on his phone showed everyone on his contacts list..that duck from earlier was on there too."

"So you saw Tian Yuo with me and decided to come?" Susu finished for Ariana. Chen Mu said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to invade your privacy. I have trust in you, but never with Tian Yuo. So I-"

Susu stopped him from explaining, "pffft, I know you trust me more than enough ahahhahaa. What? You surprised me and I cant do it back to you guys? I'm glad you guys were here and made it just in time to save me."

"Oh right, your bag. Check and see if you have any important item missing. If not, we can go back and look again." Chen Nan reminded her to double check everything just in case there was something that he had overlooked earlier.

After checking thoroughly through her stuff, she realized that her medicine container was missing. "My medicine might have dropped earlier."

"That's odd, I didn't see any type of medicine container." Chen Nan closed his eyes and recalled everything that he saw when he gathered her stuff. He opened his eyes after a few minutes and shook his head, "Nope. No medicine bottle. I triple checked."

"Huh...? How are you so sure?" Susu blinked confusedly at him.

"Ahahaha, sorry to startle you, Susu! You see, Chen Nan has photographic memory, so he can easily dig back to whatever he saw and remembers every detail of it." Ariana slapped Chen Nan's lap a few times, slid her hand between his legs and pinched him viciously hard.

He forced a smile and held back his tears as Chen Mu joined the fun and stretched his foot forward. A flattering stomp squashed his feet and Chen Nan turned towards Chen Mu with a meaningful glare, 'I will get back on you for this!!'

"Hmmm? Ariana, since you're a skillful hacker, what work do you do? Chen Nan too. You two have great talents. Whatever you guys do must be very awesome!" Susu sounded excited and very interested in their occupations.

"Actually, I'm just a regular doctor...and she's a regular house wife." Chen Nan scratched his head and didn't know how many Durian shells he will have to kneel tonight if Susu continues questioning about their background.

Susu observed their obviously nervous reactions as if another question would bring them to their deaths, so she decided to not ask any further. She smiled and said, "Ohh, then are you guys planning to stay here for a while?"

"Hmmm, that depends on my patient because wherever I am at, I will get hunted down by his daughter and then dragged across the globe to wherever the heck they are staying at. So, it is hard to say when we're leaving and how long we are staying." Chen Nan thought of the simplest way in describing his hands tied situation with Professor Luo Xia.

"Ehhh, that patient sounds a bit too much. You're responsible for the patient, but there should be a borderline between a patient, patient's family and doctors. There should be no reason for doctors to sacrifice their time unless it is some huge disastrous emergency and help is needed with lack of assistance. Aren't there other doctors?"

"Uh huh, I totally agree! And you know what's worse about this dragging us from the airport to all the way to here? This was for our honeymoon! Sheesh, a girl's dream is crushed. Although I understand that on a doctors ethics point of view, patient's lives is a priority, but sometimes I can't help but feel sad for the time that is lost. But who told me to choose a doctor?"

Ariana pointed at Chen Nan and shrugged. Susu took Ariana's hands into hers and said, "awww, you're too sweet. It's okay if you want to rant sometimes. You can call me and we can rant together."

"Yes! We should. Since my honeymoon is wrecked and my husband became somebody else's prisoner for the time being, we could hang out more!" Ariana and Susu chattered excitedly while the guys felt a tornado level migraine coming to visit. If one girlfriend and one wife was a handful, just imagine them being as close as sisters.

"No!" Both guys yelled out and ruined their conversation.

The girls looked at them with innocent, bright eyes. "No?" they pursed their lips and stared at their man's eyes. The strict tone instantly melted to a soft one.

"But I will be bored to death when you keep me at home during bad weather times. I'll be stuck indoors with just a few coughs because it is windy. So, I can't have a friend to talk to while you've gone to work?" Susu sounded so sad that Chen Mu could imagine drooping bunny ears form on her head.

Meanwhile, Ariana whined, "No? While you are attending your patient and entertaining him, I am left alone in our honeymoon suite. I am not allowed to wander off anywhere because you say it is dangerous for a girl to walk off alone here. And now, you're saying that I can't even make one friend to talk to?"

Chen Mu and Chen Nan exchanged eye contacts and sighed, "No...you can..."

The girls gave each other a double high five and started chit chatting as if every light bulb connection between them had been electrified and lit up. They spoke nonstop until they've reached Chen residence. As for the guys? They could only blame their soft spot for their girls.
