Chapter 3: Leo’s Thoughts

'That was a close one' Leo thought as he walked into his room. 'I almost spoiled the surprise. I am so stupid, I wonder if she will say yes. I hope she will say yes, I was going to ask last year, but I thought it was too soon, and I didn't know if she would say yes. Oh my god I can't believe I'm going to ask her to marry me, I'm glad I don't have work tomorrow…' Leo's mind was whirling like crazy as he changed and got into bed and fell asleep. Leo has been planning to ask Klara to marry him for months, ever since their 10th month anniversary and he's been very secretive about it and Klara knows nothing about it. Klara has been hoping and wondering when Leo would ask and was definitely planning to say yes and is really disappointed he hasn't asked or been cuing at it. Their friends keep telling him to ask and keep asking if he is, they also have been asking Klara if he asked what she would say, but Klara never answered to keep it a surprise, just so they don't tell him. Klara got a present for Leo as well it was a necklace that he wanted with a dragon wrapped around a black onyx and Leo always wanted to have a onyx and told her he didn't want to buy one because if you bought one and weren't born in October it gave you bad luck, but if it was gifted to you it didn't, but obviously Klara didn't believe that and bought one for him.
