upon submission of the entry for wsa 2022, participants are acknowledging that they have understood and accepted all terms and conditions of the competition.

only english works are allowed to participate in this competition.

event duration: 2:00 p.m. gmt+8, april 29th, 2022 — 11:59 p.m. gmt+8, october 31st, 2022.

participation in this competiton is free.

the award winners will be invited to the offline award ceremony. flight ticket, hotel stay, daily meals and transportation will be covered by webnovel.

we encourage stories of all lengths, but we believe longer stories would have better commercial value. hence, only novels with over 12,000 words will be eligible for the contracts; only novels with over 100,000 words will be eligible for the awards.

participants are allowed to submit multiple novel entries for the competition. however, each author can only be awarded with a single prize.

every award category for webnovel award can have multiple winners.

winning works will receive the awards in the month following the announcement of the results.

participating authors reserve the rights to their works' copyright.

only works licensed to webnovel will be eligible for the awards.

if winners of the wetv award confirm the film adaptation of their work, the license fees are determined separately.

novel entries must be an original work with the copyrights fully owned by the participant. plagiarism will not be tolerated.

fan-fic novels are ineligible for the contest.

the main plot of the novel entry must adhere to one of the competition's themes. otherwise, its participation rights will be forfeited.

controversial content such as child pornography, abusive sexual content or content disparaging other religious and cultural beliefs are not allowed.

webnovel reserves the right of final interpretation.
