Chapter 19

A few days remained before the mission was supposed to be completed, and suddenly, tension gripped Qin Chen's mind. He knew for sure that if he failed his mission, the system would administer a punishment. This realization prompted him to open the system once more to check the items that were available in the store that could help him. That's when he noticed something unusual.

A notification in his status indicated that the egg was about to hatch. Excitement filled him as he realized the significance of this event. It was a pivotal moment in his journey, a turning point that could potentially grant him incredible power.

He wanted to keep it a secret from everyone first since he didn't know whether people would lay a hand on his new pet or not. Just to be safe, he decided not to tell anyone about his soon-to-be companion.

Qin Chen felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness. He knew that whatever emerged from the egg hatching would play a major role in his future endeavors. With bated breath, Qin Chen waited there alone, his eyes fixed on the egg, ready to witness the birth of a new companion in his quest, of course.

The atmosphere inside the room seemed to crackle with anticipation. Qin Chen's eyes were glued to the egg, his heart pounding in his chest. The seconds stretched into minutes as he waited, his mind filled with a whirlwind of thoughts.

Finally, a subtle cracking sound filled the room. Qin Chen's eyes widened with excitement as he watched a small fissure form on the surface of the egg. He held his breath, his entire being focused on the hatching process.

With a sudden burst of movement, the eggshell split apart, revealing a creature inside. It was a small, elegant butterfly, its wings adorned with intricate patterns in shades of deep blue and shimmering silver. The room was bathed in a soft, ethereal glow as the butterfly fluttered its wings, its eyes fixing on Qin Chen as if recognizing him.

Qin Chen felt a surge of emotion welling up inside him. This wasn't just any ordinary butterfly; it was a spirit beast, a companion that would accompany him on his journey. He couldn't help but feel a deep connection with the creature, a sense of destiny intertwining their fates.

The butterfly landed gently on Qin Chen's outstretched palm, its delicate legs tickling his skin. He marveled at its beauty, his heart swelling with gratitude. With a sense of determination, he named his new companion "Veneno". 

He give the butterfly name because he had realsie something about the butterfly; the butterfly in front of him has a very strong poison power. He knew this the moment it was hatch since it send a nontification to the system and turns out the butterfly is a Venomous Ethereal Butterfly. 

This spirit beast is known for its poison strength; even Dugubo the poison douluo can't do anything in front of this beast. 

Suddenly the butterfly started to roam around Qin Chen and stopped in fornt of his face; as if it was saying that it wanted to accompany Qin Chen o his journey. Seeing this he felt so happy and the next second suddenly his shikigami spirit started to appear and then a fusuma appear out of the thin air opening into the endless void. The butterfly without any hesitation made his way to the fusuma and enter the endless void. 

Suddenly a surge of power started to appear within him then both of Qin Chen Butterfly Emperor and Shikigami started to appear. The Butterfly emperor appear followed by two black spirit ring, while the Shikigami started to appear with a white spirit ring. 

Lookig at this he felt so confused; he wondered how did he suddenly have his spirit ring then he realised something. Veneno just hatch a while ago and didn't have any time to increase its power where he suddenly enter the endless void inside the fusuma. 

Suddenly another ring can be heard in his head. Turns out he have reach the level of 30 where the system gave him 1000 Etherium crystals and also a 1000 years old Datura snake posion that is known for it's posion. 

Seeing this Qin Chen suddenly got an idea and use his first spirit skill of his Shikigami.

"Winged spirits of toxic might,

From petal's curse to moonlit light,

In shadows deep, where poisons teem,

I call thee forth from nature's dream.

Rise from the depth Venomous Ethereal Butterfly, 

Come foward and be one with me, 'Veneno'"

Qin Chen first spirit ring started to glow follow by the appearance of a fusuma that slide itslef open followed by a butterfly that suddeny appear out of the endless void. 

Qin Chen then give the posion to Veneno and unexpectedly his cultivation level also has increase to a hundred spirit ring. This conclude that to increase the power of the shikigami spirit ring he simply just either feed the beast or train them.

Suddenlya voice can be heard out of the room, "Qin Chen; teacher's going to come in" followed by an opening creaking sound. Qin Chen swiftly make Veneno disappear into the endless void and close the fusuma. 

BiBi Dong finally open the door fully and see that Qin Chan wa sstanding up with a smile on his face. 

"Ohh, what makes my little student to be so happy," asked BiBi Dong with a teasing tone. 

"Teacher, I break through level 30; with this I have accomplish the mission that was given to me by the elder," Qin Chen siad while faking his excitement. 

Seeing this BiBi Dong can only smile and giggle while looking at hime, since he never thought that his little student able to act so well to the point where she almost get fooled. 

"Ok then, tidy up yourself i'm going to bring you to hunt for your third spirit ring," hearing that this time finally Qin Chen jump with full of excutement wondering what his thirs spirit ring will be.
