Chapter 01 : System start

I woke up to the sound of soft rain. So i got up and streched. After stretching i walked to the door and opened it but the handle was opening way too easily. I opened the door and looked at the boy in front of me with an unimpressed expression.

He was my age with rough Scarlett red hair brown eyes and what would be a dazzling smile if he wasn't so annoying . "good morning man! Sleep well"? He asked with an irritatingly wide smile

I sighed. "yeah now please get out of the doorway so I can go make some breakfast"

"Ahh so cold you find me your own best friend to be nothing more than an obstacle in the way". He said dramatically grabbing at his chest as if he was in pain.

We both started laughing.

after eating I took a quick shower and got dressed in the classic outfit of the fast-food chain I works. I dont really like the outfit In fact, i hate it. It's bright and colorful and it just doesn't work with me.

I started walking to the front door. On the way out I went past the small living room there was a single lazy boy and one couch that could fit two people.

The red haired boy was on the lazy boy switching channel's on the tv. " Rei you better get that job. I can't keep paying for everything."

"yeah yeah, don't worry." Rei said waving at his hand at me like i was an annoying fly.

I looked at my watch to see it was twenty past seven AM. "I'm gonna be late for work." I shouted while opening the door and stepped outside. I turned around. "seriously though get that job". I said and picked up the umbrella outside the door.

I closed the door and opened the umbrella. I started to run through the rain. 'crap im going to be so late.' It was still and cold outside since it was the middle of the winter.

"Damn its cold.'' I muttered aloud

When I finally saw the bus stop, after what seemed like hours in the cold rain, I slowed down until I was just walking quickly. After closing My umbrella I sat down on the bench under the roof and waited for the bus.

A few seconds later a bus came around the corner and stopped in front of the bus stop Istood up and climbed onto the bus. There were many open seats but I decided to stand. I dont like busses they're usually crowded and stinky.

As the bus started moving I plugged my earphones into my phone and started listening to a music. I closed my eyes to listen to the music and block out everything else. When suddenly I felt something pulling on my shirt.

When I looked down to see what it was there was an old lady looking at me. I quickly took out my earphones. "do you need something, ma'am?" I asked with a polite smile

"Could you move up a bit so I can sit down please sonny?" The old lady asked nicely

"Yeah yeah of course." I answered and stepped back a few feet so she could sit on the seat that was behind me. I put my earphones back in my ears but turned down the volume in case she needed help again.

After a while, the bus stopped at a bus stop and people got on and off. One of the people that got on the bus was a woman that just so happened to be Alex's coworker. But he didn't like her because even though she had a pretty face and figure her personality was really bad.

"Why did she need to get on my bus?" I mumbled. And started to turn away from her but it was too late she was already walking in my direction." Hey newbie. Why are your clothes so messy your an embarrassment to our branch." She said in a condescending tone.

Her face had a scornful expression as if she was looking at garbage when she lolked at me.

I straightened up my clothes and made sure there was nothing for her to comment on again. Satisfied she walked away to the back of the bus where she made another boy stand up so she could sit even though there were many open seats.

I turned the volume of my earphones up again as high as they would go. After that short but terrible conversation, I really didn't want to deal with the world right now. The music made me feel like I wasn't there.

Suddenly I heard a *Ding* sound. Which was weird because I was blasting music into my ears. I opened up his eyes to see what had made the sound. I couldn't believe it so I rubbed his eyes and shook my head.

'I guess I didn't sleep enough last night I must be hallucinating.' I thought

Opening them again I knew I wasn't imagining things. Because about an arm away from my face was a game-like loading screen saying.

[loading system... ]

I stared at the screen confused. 'What is this? What's going on is this some sort of trick or something?' I thought but then suddenly the screen changed.

[reseting world... ]

Suddenly I heard a male voice, but wasnt coming from one direction it was as if he was speaking directly to my brain. "Warning all inanimate objects will disappear shortly. Please for your own safety if you are on a moving or high object stop and climb off.

'What does resetting world mean? And what does he mean by disappear?' I thought and started thinking what it could mean.

A few minutes had passed since the "announcement" but nothing had happened yet. 'It could have been some high tech prank' i thought, my mind wandering to an image of a few men in a room with some sort of telepathic communication tool they were testing.

Suddenly there was no bus Everyone that was on the bus fell I started rolling on the asphalt. When I stopped I lay there for a few seconds. I hurt all over. The bus must have been going at least twenty-five miles an hour when it disappeared.

I slowly got up from the floor and looked around to see where the bus was but it was nowhere to be seen. And somehow there were no buildings either even the asphalt they had fallen on a second ago was gone.

I was standing in the middle of an open grassy field with a few trees here and there. I ran to a nearby tree because it was cold and I was getting wet from the rain. When he heard that same sound

*Ding*

"What the hell is going on." I almost shouted. I could hear people moaning as they also ran to nearby trees. A boy to my left started walking towards me but then stopped standing in the rain just as I heard the sound again.

I read it but was confused. 'What the hell is going on what is all this system stuff? And that skill and farmer profile. I thought my expression turning into a confused frown.

Suddenly he heard the voice in his head again. "would you like information on your profile and skill"

"Uhh yes." Alex said hesitantly.

"A beast farmer is a farmer type that can tame beasts. allowing them to tame one or more beasts to the point of the beast being comfortable around the tamer. Allowing for reproduction and marketing of beasts. Any farmer type also excels in the farming of any ordinary crops, fruit, vegetables, animals." The voice said.

I stared at the screen dumbfounded for a while ." What the hell is going on! " I yelled
