Chapter 7- Qi purifying and qi well expansion

As alaec's veins and meridians were constantly expanding, the excess energy left over started rushing to the three major palaces- dantian, heart and brain. The energy as rash as hungry tiger being woken from a deep slumber, the place left behind were ravaged and ruined but strangely more robust as they slowly recovered, the veins, meridians and dantian all slowly ruptured and grew faster as time went on. Alaec's realm which had recently stagnated began to reach and stab at the ceiling of the current stage, the power that surged slowly creeping through the three dantian points. In the past Alaec was tense and wounded because of energy reaching these key places, alaec's thoughts on the path of the dao was rigid but after the countless years of self exploring and preaching to the orphans and lost souls the path seemed endless but in his very own grasp.

Alaec tried to change his path seeing as he was put back to the early realms, the energy that was causing tension began to loosing and become more soft and flowing like a stream of water passing through obstructions and I'm purities. The energy reached the ceiling of the dantian and breached the heart dantian filling it and increasing the efficiency, soon after the brain was inflamed with increasing qi burning the waste hidden within and reforming the many parts of the brain used for processing and cognitive functions. Alaec could barley hold on to his fleeting conscience, using all his will reining in the abominable power raging through his body, the now strengthened body of our dear protagonist had reached a new realm- Qi-establishment 7th step. Alaec sat in the lotus position and realigned his qi and circulated the now more pure energy around his body, shocked to find his qi efficiency had increased 5 fold and now not to mention a single minor realm even two or three would be in the range of victory.

Although this process felt short but extremely painful to Alaec however this process lasted more than a few hours to the point that his mother and many maidservants surrounded his abode to see what was going on, Alaec reached for his door upon hearing the commotion outside and walked through. To his surprise almost 30 people were outside looking concerned and tired, Alaec's mum ran to her son and embraced him however seconds later pushes away clutching her nose, the smell coming off Alaec permeated her nostrils and burned her sinuses. "Dear, please go wash up we'll talk after you have freshened up" Alaec only nodded quietly and left to draw some water.

Not long after cleaning up Alaec had regained his pearlescent like jade skin after removing the waste caked around his pores, after relieving himself of the utterly repugnant smell Alaec returned to the main household to speak to his mother. "What happened to you?, why did you go missing for hours with no response!" This was a valid questioning from his mother, he may have felt like it wasn't a long period but reality holds power in the form of time, Alaec could only dimly smile as he apologised and explained that he was breaking through a minor bottleneck and that the process being so long was unexpected. Luckily alaecs mother being a kind soul hadn't even been mad only worried as a mother should, his father on the other hand wasn't so pleased with causing familial stress, so much so that he wanted to punish his son for lack of preparations.

The consistent punishment for the juniors of the family were cane lashings by a 1st step foundation boundary expert, this would cause injuries but most of the juniors were 4th or 5th stage qi establishment as an average. For alaec this was a chance to help consolidate his foundation for future cultivation. The road to the peak is a slow and painful endeavour, "Alaec you are to receive 100 canes and will be deducted of 100 contribution points." This would be detrimental to all youths of the family as contribution points was a system the family and city used for trading good such as materials for alchemy and forging, the main use was for pills and miscellaneous items for use. In Alaec's case these points held little meaning for pills as he would be concocting his own and for his trust comrades, "I shall take this punishment willingly" Alaec said as he motioned into a salute.

After the sun became a mellow orange peaking through the clouds alaec's realm had somewhat consolidated and only needed some minor adjustments later on. Alaec's mind was focused he needed to utilise his extensive knowledge of the sub-paths. The next plan of action was to find materials that can produce the specific pills needed right now, this pill that is most useful is the bone reinforcement pellet, this would strengthen his bones and make them as strong as cast iron depending on the percent of completion, alaec was planning to use a method of blood burning to increase the level of the pill, although this could cause internal injuries these were worth the price of increasing the foundation of alaec's fighting power. What he needed right now was help to find the herbs, the two people he thought of was his sister popo and soso two intelligent juniors among the youths of the family, they unlike Alaec focused on array formations and inscription techniques, he would go find these two sister later the next morning but as of right now he has contribution left over from the skirmish fight he could claim the qi swelling pellet, this would expand the qi dwelling and allow Alaec to perform more martial techniques higher than his current level.

The next morning came as the sun blazed as it risen above the horizon, the Alaec meditation had ended as the crickets chirped, his eyelids creased open and his eyes as sharp as lightning flared out to the distance, two young woman waited at the entrance to the abode, the two sister knew based on their brothers antics that he would call for them. "Good morning dear sisters, I need you to handle some minor task for me if possible." The two looked at their brother and exchanged a look of knowing. And both said at the same time, "of course dear brother we know what you'll need."

Alaec gave his sister a look of admiration and love before bidding them farewell to continue his training, the next step was to increase his attribute based qi.
