It was early morning when Captain Hook emerged from the manhole and into London. He had said goodbye to his compatriots the night before, but he hadn't felt any sadness at leaving the men with whom he had spent the last ten years. Rather, his main source of melancholy was that being in prison would mean he would never see Angela again, unless she decided to visit, which he thought extremely unlikely.
He had given directions to Peter to covertly extract the remaining treasure so that it might be returned to the Liverwood Bank. He didn't know if this would have any bearing on his sentence, but he felt it was the honorable thing to do.
Hook was pleased that Neverland would soon be available to the public. In some way, it gave meaning to all he had built and the time he had spent there. Although, he cringed at the thought of strangers and rambunctious children exploring his ship.
He walked down several streets, then pulled out the address Tink had given him, locating the number on a large building on his left. He stood in front of the mental hospital for a few minutes until the doors opened and a young man with red hair and a thick beard walked out. When he saw Hook, he froze.
"James Hook?" The young man whispered with wide eyes. "Perhaps I really have gone insane. They've released me too early."
Hook answered his distress with a small bow. "You are not insane, Mr. Baker. I simply came to ask you a favor."
Jack Baker took an uncertain step forward. "What do you want?"
"I need you to escort me to the police station."
