CHAPTER THREE: FAMILY(1)

In the night, Meifeng woke up feeling revitalized and decided to take a walk outside. She raised her head to see the moon artfully perched high in the sky. She got lost in thinking. She ruminated on the whole new experience. She thought to herself, "What am I going to do next?" Her maid interrupted her train of thought as she approached. My lady!, she said. I've been looking everywhere for you. I was anxious thinking that you would do something outrageous. Just getting some fresh air outside, she informed her maid. She recalls that after she reincarnated, she never had the opportunity to ask her what her name is. Her question was, "What's your name?" She claimed to have lost her memory. Her maid had her doubts. Chu Lining is my name, she said to her. "How long have you been my maid"?, she asked. Chu ling told her she have been by her side ever since she was twelve years old. She pondered why will she be maid at such age. In her former life, she should still be going to school and be under her parents. Chu ling saw her lady got lost in her thought and she asked if there is any problem. She said no, am just thinking about some insignificant stuff. Chu ling, I want you to tell me everything about my family and how my relationship is with them. Your parents died when you were still a kid. I heard your parents are powerful and the king himself respect them a lot. According to the rumor being spread around, they were killed during war against the neighbouring country. Your grandfather have been taking care of you since then. Your grandfather is very powerful even the king respect him a lot. Your father has another wife who gave birth to two boys and 1 girls. She is in charge of daily house activities and she hates you. Any oppurtunity she finds, she always maltreat you. Other family members include your uncles, cousins, nephews and aunts. Seeing it is very late and dark, she told her lady they will continue the next day. Meifeng lay down on bed, eyes wide open but later coupled with the fact her body is still weak she entered into the dream land.
