Engagement

All had their eyes on the new couple and one after the other went to them to congratulate but they couldn't deduct their feelings from their expressions and unconsciously thought them being either too shy or too shocked to react

their parents also felt their odd behaviour and wanted to talk with them respectively

Marina didn't know how to react and just stood on standby as if anything could happen at any time

Vanitha took Vina aside and asked about her opinion regarding marriage and their course of action earlier

" Vina baby, I know we should take your choice first when it comes to marriage, I won't insist on you marrying Deep but of all the people I have met and seen all these years I don't find anyone that can make me feel at ease to let you spend your entire life after marriage, we wouldn't have taken action if any one of you had a girlfriend or boyfriend " Vina sighed "we parents find both of you compatible, so just did it, if you think you can't marry Deep after considering then just say it but think carefully before making any decision, I don't want my daughter to lose a good husband... "

Vanitha rambled on continuously without taking a break where Vina couldn't stop, her expression changing from time to time realizing that she can't let her go on like this otherwise it will be a headache

"Mom just... just stop it, I know you want me to get married and it's not like I am unhappy it's just I haven't thought of marrying yet and when it comes to Deep I don't know what to say, fact I was already aware of this possibility but I don't know how to react when everything is going on right in front of my eyes... "

with just these few words Vanitha understood what her daughter is feeling and she is rather convinced that Vina will not decline this marriage...after she realized this, she felt better and more than happy with various kind of thoughts running in her mind starting from their marriage to grandchildren

"baby I know how you are feeling but you are not angry with us right.. "

Vina felt that her mother is in another track and interrupted

"Mom wait... wait... don't overthink I didn't say anything yet and you are already like this, " sighed and continued

"I'm not against it but I am not willing either..."

Vanitha's expression changed from happy to a little frown after hearing this

"What do you mean baby?? "

"Nothing mom, I feel after all the thinking.... going with the flow is far better than anything"

Vina wanted to continue expressing her thoughts but before she could

Vanitha immediately brightened and took Vina's hand in her and started saying excitedly

" yes yes going with the flow is better.. "

Vanitha was so happy that she was about to leave and tell her husband and friends what Vina said but before that Vina cut Vanitha off and stopped her

".. Mom mom wait listen to me... listen to me ok, what I mean to say is I will go with the flow but before let me remind you that till now I never thought or felt Deep in that way so don't be sure about this"

"we still don't know what Deep think about this, so in the end all I want to be is, a little clear, ok"

"ok ok, baby you don't worry, you don't object that's more than enough, I will go and talk to your father"

Vanitha left as fast as she can

meanwhile Parvati also took Deep aside and behaved as Vanitha

Deep couldn't bear her nagging

"Mom, don't waste your time, I know what you're thinking and you know how I feel, so I am not very optimistic of our relationship"

Parvati's face fell and had a complicated expression

"Mom don't feel bad, even then I won't reject"

"What do you mean, you won't reject"

Deep couldn't help but say

"I like Vina but not in that way, till now I never felt that way and I am not sure about future"

" that's right you are not sure about future and most important thing is you like her"

Parvati grasped the main point and felt overjoyed

Parvati and Vanitha returned almost same time ,just a look at another there is no need ask

both went to their husband had a talk separately , later four people once again gathered with another small talk

Prasanth once again started to walk towards the dias

Marina and Manish were behaving as if they the audience watching drama with some potato chips at hands

both Navina, Kuldeep just looked at each other but couldn't speak with each other in that kind of situation

"Honorable guests and dear friends earlier I shared a news with you all about my son Kuldeep and by best friend's daughter Navina getting married, earlier we parents came to an agreement and decided to have their engagement on this joyous occasion"

soon Navina and Kuldeep stood facing each other surrounded by their parents with the same blank expression when they heard earlier announcement

Marina stood between them with a plate decorated with rose petals and two boxes with couple rings placed at the center.

before they get to digest the things happening around them,and they stood getting a closure look at their rings they are already engaged which is hardly believable as if they are sleeping and hadn't woken up
