Kaneki's side (1)

This and probably a few chapters will be about Kaneki after he suddenly left Yuuka at the arcade and what he's been up to.

So let's rewind back to July 19, 2042

Miku: I wonder in Onii-chan and Yuuka-Oneechan is having fun? Well hopefully it goes well.

Miku was in their house waiting for Kaneki to return.

Miku: it's almost been an hour since he left. I know! I should try cooking agai-

Kaneki/Kotarou: You are not going set the house fire!

Kaneki/Kotarou suddenly appeared.

Miku: E-EEEEH?! Onii-chan what are you doing here?! I thought you were on an arcade date with Yuuka-Oneechan!

Kaneki/Kotarou: I left early.

Miku was in complete shocked after hearing that.

Miku: what?! Why?!

Kaneki didn't respond but he had a face that showed a bit of guilt.

Kaneki/Kotarou: I'm gonna change back to my original body and you'll be eating Bitter gourd omelette.

Miku: wait! Why did you-

Kaneki/Kotarou then went into their basement.

Miku's thoughts*

(What happened? I thought their date will be longer)

Kaneki then came out of his Basement in his original body

Kaneki: I'll call you when the food is ready...

Miku: umm... Okay...

(He looks like he's in a bad mood)

Miku day at the living room to wait for Dinner to be cooked.

While Kaneki wore his apron and started to make dinner.

Kaneki's thoughts*

(I hate this! Kill me! Why did I seriously do that?!)

The 4 split personalities of Kaneki became one again and now Kaneki is in complete Panic mode in his thoughts.

(I'm the worst! Why did I leave?! Seriously! What's happening with me?!)

Kaneki: Ow!

While cutting the bitter gourd he accidentally sliced his own finger.

Kaneki: ouch, anyway.

But since he has regeneration his injury immediately healed and he continued making food.

Kaneki: foods ready!

Miku: okay...

The Higanbana siblings sat on the dinner table to at their dinner.

Miku & Kaneki: *clap! tadakimasu~

They both ate dinner without talking.

Miku's thoughts*

(This is so awkward)

Kaneki: make sure you eat all the food alright? This is punishment for using my phone without permission.

Miku: hehe~ you're still on that?

Kaneki: yes.

Miku: but how was the arcade date? Was it fun?

She tried to engage a conversation by asking her brother.

Kaneki: it...was...

Kaneki's thoughts*

(Why did I say that?!)

Miku: so why did you got back early did Yuuka-Oneechan had something else to do?

Kaneki: no, I left on my own...

Miku: you just left her?!

Kaneki: yes... But I as I did I sent Heike to watch over her.

Miku: but you still left her alone!

Kaneki: Mirai-san doesn't need me.

Miku's thoughts*

(What's going on?... My Onii-chan doesn't just leave people he care about like that...)

Kaneki: just keep eating after that do what you want and I'll be in the basement doing some research.

Miku: umm... Okay..

And so after they finished eating and washing the dishes Miku left Kaneki alone in the basement.

Slam!

Miku: he looks really sad... I should tell Shino-Oneechan.

In the basement*

Kaneki had high-tech computer in his basement and he's a about to use it to find a certain family.

Kaneki: alright time to start finding this "family that serves the Demon knights".

And so he activated it and began looking in the internet about information regarding the family.

11:00 p.m*

Kaneki: yawn~ looks like this will be very difficult it seems that this "family" is being kept a secret, I can understand why but this is difficult-

Flashback!

???: hey did you heard? There's some alley's where some creeps attack school girls who pass through them.

???: for real? Well I guess we need to stay clear of alley's then.

Flashback end*

Kaneki: what the-? Why did that just came out of nowhere?

Kaneki had a random flashback.

Kaneki: hmm... It has been a while since I was the Hero and the last time I was sthe hero was like 2 weeks ago when I became friends with Natsuki. Know what I'll just make sure that those rumors aren't true. Tomorrow at least it's almost midnight and I need to rest.

So Kaneki went to his room and to sleep.

The next day*

Kaneki: it's morning yawn~ alright then I should make dinner no-

Kaneki gotten a message from Natsuki.

Kaneki: oh it's Natsuki does she want to hangout today?

He checked the message.

"Hey Kaneki-kun I'm not gonna go to your place today I'll be having cooking lessons, if there's any leftovers I'll bring you and Miku-chan some"

Kaneki: oh really? Alright then.

Kaneki then replied.

"Alright, have fun and also when you get here I'll give you my blood so you could check the other blank pages is that good?"

Natsuki immediately replied.

"What?! You've been taking out your blood?!"

"Yes why?"

"Don't do that unless I fell you! I don't want to you die from blood loss!"

"Okay okay, I'm sorry but I'll give the blood packs later"

"Fine but don't do that again unless I ask you"

"I promise I won't do that unless you ask"

"Alright good then! See you later!"

"See you later"

And so their small chat over the phone ended.

Kaneki: alright time to make some breakfast and then go out and check some alley's around Shimotsuki.
