Chapter 53: Proposing?

"So, I'll do whatever it takes to make you mine, Ultear. Just wait for me to rescue you. I'll rid you of all the darkness that's accumulated inside of you, just like your mother did for Gray." Natsu whispered lovingly into her ears.

Ultear was startled after hearing this and clutched his shoulders while looking at him sternly.

"Don't give me that shit. You of all people should know that it's impossible for me. I'm already buried deep inside the pits of hell. There's no going back for me now. Even if I left the guild, Hades-sama would still go after me. He'll inform the council about all of my misdeeds. I'll become a wanted criminal no matter what I do. There's nowhere safe for me to live peacefully in this world." Ultear remarked with a sad smile.

Natsu felt terrible seeing her sad expression, and quickly flicked her forehead, making her look at him angrily.

"Then what about another world?" Natsu asked with a grin, further confusing Ultear. She didn't know what Natsu meant by another world. Did he mean another continent?

"What do you mean? Do you mean leaving Fiore? Sorry, but I'm not a coward. I'll do whatever it takes to awaken Zeref. He has the answer to all my questions." Ultear replied with determination lacing her voice. She believed that the infamous legendary dark wizard would be able to answer all her questions.

"You mean going back into the time, right?" Natsu casually asked, making her stunned. She never told anyone her reason for looking for Zeref. Even Hades didn't know why she was so obsessed with finding Zeref.

"Y-You!? How do you know this?" Ultear inquired in disbelief. She felt that somehow, Natsu knew all her secrets. It was like she was standing buck naked in front of him. She couldn't hide anything from his smoldering eyes.

"I know everything about you, my sexy little vixen. Sorry to inform you, but you'll get nothing out of Zeref. He's nothing more than a suicidal bastard. If he knew how to rewind time, then he'd have already used it to kill himself instead. The only way to go back to the past is through the eclipse gate, but do you really want to go back 400 years in the past? You'll die of old age without ever even meeting your mother." Natsu answered seriously, making Ultear wide-eyed. She didn't want to go back 400 years in the past.

"I don't believe you! How can you know all of this? How can you be so sure of this?" Ultear asked in disbelief. She desperately wanted to think that his words were false, but she knew it was most likely all true after looking into his honest eyes.

"It's true whether you believe it or not," Natsu casually replied while shrugging his shoulders. He didn't want Ultear to struggle for something so ridiculous.

"Who are you? Why are you telling all of this to me? Wouldn't it be better for you to hide all of this?" Ultear asked, looking at him suspiciously. She believed that Natsu definitely had a reason for helping her so much.

"As I said, I'm interested in you. I don't want to see you struggling so hard for something impossible. As for who I really am, do you want to know?" Natsu asked with a trace of mischief in his eyes. Ultear was confused after seeing his expression but nodded nonetheless. She wanted to know the reason behind his actions.

"Then, you will have to agree to be mine. I can't share my secrets with an outsider after all," Natsu replied with a teasing smile. Ultear was dumbfounded at hearing such absurd reason but quickly burst out laughing after seeing that Natsu was serious. He looked at her display fondly.

"Pfft, you know you sound so ridiculous, right? Who proposes like that? Hahaha..." Ultear happily laughed while wiping the tears from her eyes. She couldn't believe the guy in front of her just proposed to her like that.

"So, what do you say? Do you agree or not? In case you didn't know, I have two lovers already. You'll be my third. Don't worry, I'll help you no matter what you choose. So think carefully." Natsu replied with a wide grin, dazzling Ultear. She looked at his face in a fond manner, having already found her answer.

"No need, I already know the answer. I agree! I want to know all your secrets. Besides, I want to see just how you would rescue me, dragon boy! I don't care if you have more lovers either. It just means that I have to work harder to conquer your heart." Ultear answered with a smirk. She didn't care whether she was his first woman or not. All that mattered to her was monopolizing his heart.

Natsu looked at her fondly before embracing her and whispering seductively. "Then you have a lot of work to do. I already love them very much. Let me see how you will conquer my heart."

"Like this," answered Ultear, kissing him swiftly. She wrapped her arms around Natsu's neck and continued kissing with fervent aggression. Natsu was surprised in the beginning but quickly returned her kiss with equal intensity. They wrestled with their tongues and exchanged each other's saliva.

Natsu held her rear and started fondling it roughly, causing Ultear to let out a needy moan. He didn't stop the kiss and was about to make more moves on her body before Ultear broke away and looked at him playfully.

"Do you really want to do it here? I don't mind, but don't you have to stop the demon? You know, before visiting you, I already fixed the temple with my magic. I guess the ritual is mostly finished already. Deliora should be revived at any moment now." Ultear said, making Natsu stunned. That's right! This wasn't the time for romance. He has a demon to take care of first.
