Chapter 35: An Overpowered Skill (Edited)

After finding a nice barren place, Natsu brought out the golden gate key and chanted, "Gate of the Maiden, I open thee! Virgo!"

'My God, it's so embarrassing shouting the chant just like a chuunibyou. I need to shorten the chant.' thought Natsu internally in embarrassment.

Then Virgo appeared out of a magic circle in front of him and bowed her knees while saying, "Is it punishment time, my prince?"

"No, it's not that time. I wanted to test your power. Can you tell me more about your magic Virgo?" asked Natsu with a focused gaze. He wants to learn everything about his spirit.

"Sure. I'm proficient in earth magic, transformation magic, and chain magic. I'm also an expert in hand-to-hand combat. Bla… Bla… Bla…" answered Virgo explaining all the details about her magic. Natsu was listening to her seriously.

"Thanks for answering. Let me ask you this first, are you only able to control the earth or more like metal and other minerals?" asked Natsu curiously.

"I'm able to control any non-living solid object. Earth, Metal, Glass, or even Diamonds, I can control any hard object and manipulate them. Although the size of the object to manipulate depends upon the amount of magic I spent." answered Virgo diligently. Natsu was happy to hear this.

"Do you mean to say that you can control and manipulate any non-living solid object? Do you need to be in physical contact to manipulate them or not?" asked Natsu excitedly.

"No, I don't need physical contact with the object to manipulate them. I just need to sense the object, and I can manipulate them. But the only thing I can do with them is push and pull. I can't change the direction of the motion of the object mid-way; it's one of my major weaknesses." answered Virgo with her heads down.

Natsu approached her and patted her head gently, seeing this and said gently, "Nothing is perfect in this world. Your magic is pretty powerful, so it would obviously have some major weaknesses. Don't feel down; you can always train to cover your weakness. Now that you're my celestial spirit, I will make you even powerful."

Virgo smiled, genuinely, watching this and nodded.

Natsu then continued. "By the way, do you have an affinity with space? Celestial spirits teleport a lot, so I was just guessing whether you have an affinity with space or not."

"Of course I do. All celestial spirits have an innate affinity with space. We represent the twelve zodiac constellation, so obviously, we have an affinity with space." answered Virgo maintaining eye contact with Natsu.

"Ahem! I meant to say, are you able to use space-related magic?" questioned Natsu with a fake cough.

"Negative. We celestial spirits can only travel between the celestial realm and the human realm. The other thing we can do is sense celestial bodies in the vast space." answered Virgo with a stoic face.

"Do you mean you can sense asteroids outside the planet?" asked Natsu excitedly, holding her shoulders.

"Affirmative. It's easy to sense them. I can even sense a distant planet in the solar system, sensing the asteroids is pretty easy. They are everywhere in the solar system." answered Virgo rapidly blinking.

"Can you manipulate these asteroids? I want you to make a skill to bring down a meteorite. It would be overpowered AOE skill." asked Natsu in excitement. He still remembers the epic scene of Madara decimating the ninja alliance with multiple meteorites in Naruto anime.

"I can do that. Innumerable asteroids are floating in the barrier between the human realm and the celestial realm. I can easily bring them out on the human realm with sufficient magic. But the prince will need to supply me with a lot of your magic to do that." answered Virgo making Natsu elated.

"Then what are you waiting for, take all the magic you require and summon the biggest meteorite you can. This is just a barren place with no human nearby, so you don't need to worry about harming others," said Natsu with sparkling eyes.

Virgo nodded and concentrated on bringing the meteorite. She sensed an enormous asteroid of diameter about a hundred meters and pulled it towards her location. She used about 10% of Natsu's overall magic to pull it successfully.

An enormous meteorite started falling toward their location at high speed. Natsu was watching this with flashing eyes.

"It's Tengai Shinsei madafaka, this meteorite will obliterate everything in its path, haha…" shouted Natsu with a loud laugh acting like a typical villain making Virgo confused.

But Natsu's expression soon changed into horror. The meteorite was coming at their location at high speed.

"Um… Virgo, Is it just me or the meteorite heading to our location?" asked Nervously, sweating a little seeing the rapidly approaching meteorite.

"Affirmative. I pulled it toward our location as you instructed, prince," replied Virgo with a stoic face.

The meteorite was rapidly getting closer to our location. Seeing this, Natsu didn't hesitate and pulled Virgo and teleported far away from the site.

"But couldn't you send it a bit away from our location. I don't want to buried under a fu*king meteorite," shouted Natsu, sighing in relief while holding Virgo in a princess carry, making her cheeks red.

That day people all around the Fiore saw a huge meteorite falling from the sky, making them horrified. Every wizard around the nation was amazed by its sheer size.

"BOOOOOOOOOOM"

Natsu and Virgo watched at the meteorite crashed into the ground with a loud explosion sending shockwaves everywhere. Everything was destroyed around the crash site. After the explosion, what was left was a vast approximately one kilometer in diameter crater.

"That's an overkill… I can't wait to obliterate Zeref's army with a fu*king meteorite. And even if they are able to block it somehow, I'll send another one. I remember someone saying that If a meteorite doesn't work, then keep sending it till it works. Haha…" laughed Natsu while spinning Virgo in excitement. Virgo just looked at her master's enthusiasm in a cocked head.

"You're the best celestial spirit for me, Virgo. I'm so glad to be your master, I can do anything for you today. I'm in such a good mood." said Natsu smiling warmly after stopping spinning her.

"Then can you punish me, prince?" asked Virgo expectantly, staring at Natsu.

"Sigh… Not this again. I'll promise to punish you later. You can return to the celestial realm for rest." replied Natsu with a stiff smile. He forgot that Virgo was a hopeless masochist.

"Roger! Please summon me anytime you want to punish me," said Virgo disappearing from her spot.

"This Virgo… I need to give her a proper punishment, after all. I'd be a hypocrite if I said that I don't look forward to it." muttered Natsu with a smile. Then, he left the place and headed back to the guild.

(A/N: How was the chapter? I know it's an overpowered skill, but there are other OP Villians. Acnologia blew the whole fu*king Tenrou island with just his breath attack. Don't you think that's a ridiculous attack? But in the end, he died so pathetically all due to the stupid Nakama power. I hate the ending of the manga so much. So, I don't want to rely on such an unreasonable Nakama power. Natsu is still weaker than the main villains like Zeref and Acnologia.)
