Chapter 32: Returning back
Magnolia Town
The two of them finally arrived at Magnolia. Natsu gestured her to follow him, and he made his way toward the guild. Lucy was acting like a kid overseeing her new environment.
Soon, they arrived at the guild building. Natsu gestured her to follow and to enter inside the building. They were greeted with the usual sight of a rowdy bunch of people laughing and chatting with each other while occasionally doing some silly stuff.
Lucy was amazed watching this and looked at everything around the guild curiously. Natsu headed toward the counter and met his lovely mate, Mirajane, doing usual paperwork for the guild.
Mira gave him a lovely smile and asked in a beautiful voice. "You're back so soon, Natsu. Did you find your dragon father, or was it another sham?"
Mira already knows everything about Natsu's past except all the reincarnation stuff and his family. Even though Natsu knows Igneel's soul is dormant inside him, he still acts like he's searching for him to prepare a facade for future use.
"Nah, it was another false news. But I did manage to capture a slave trader in there. I should be getting the bounty for his capture soon. So, it wasn't a complete waste of time." told Natsu with a tired sigh. He was exhausted from his journey and wanted to relax.
"Well… that's nice to hear at least. And who's the lovely lady beside you, Natsu? Don't tell me you seduced another woman?" Asked Mira with a smile that turned chilly at the end.
"N-No, it's not like that. I met her on my journey. She wanted to join our guild, so I brought her here to introduce her to the master. Do you really think of me as a womanizer?" replied Natsu immediately denying her accusation.
"Of course, I don't think so. But it never hurts to be careful. You are a handsome and strong wizard, so obviously some whxres will get attracted to you like mosquitos attracted toward blood. It's my duty to swat the unworthy ones away from you." answered Mira with a resolute expression.
"You just said unworthy ones. So do you expect to share me with other women in the future? I didn't know you were already planning to manage my harem hehe…" said Natsu with a smirk teasing Mira.
Mira blushed when she heard her blunder and hurriedly tried to deny it, but Natsu just blocked her lips with his finger and said in a gentle voice. "We can talk about it later. Can you please call master Makarov over here? We shouldn't keep our guest waiting for too long, isn't it Lucy?"
Lucy was pretty excited seeing her favorite model but soon become embarrassed, watching them flirting with each other. She didn't know how to gain their attention, and when she heard Natsu's words, she immediately nodded.
"Ok then, you can wait here for a bit. I'll go and inform master Makarov about you. He should be arriving soon." said Mira with a professional smile. She left the counter and headed to the second floor when the guild master's office is located.
Natsu and Lucy both took their seats and waited for his arrival. Lucy was in her fangirl mode, admiring everything around her.
After a while, Makarov arrived with Mira. The guild was getting out of hand with their antics but instantly quieted down when he enlarged himself into a giant and said in a powerful voice. "Quiet it down, you brats! Can't you go a single day without fighting? And I've got a lot of complaints from the magic council regarding your behaviors. Can't you people do your quest more peacefully without destroying stuff? The council members are angry at me all the time due to this"
Everyone looked at him seriously, and Lucy started sweating due to the atmosphere. But, all of it crumbled down when he continued. "But, screw the magic council. Listen up; the power to overcome reasoning is born from the reasoning itself. Magic is not a miracle. When the spirit flow within us and the spirit flow in nature connects with us, they will form an embodiment for the first time. You will need a strong mentality and lots of concentration for achieving that, I mean pouring all your soul into doing whatever you wish is Magic. So if you keep worrying about the higher-ups of the council, then you will never improve your magic. So, do not fear the fools of the council, and do whatever you think is right."
Everyone cheered loudly, hearing this and started partying again. Cana was drinking a whole barrel, and Loke was flirting with his harem, Gray and Elfman were fighting each other. Levy was surrounded by Jet and Droy fighting for her attention, Lisanna was feeding Happy a salmon, and Macao and Wakaba were trying to flirt with the bar-maids unsuccessfully.
Makarov approached Lucy and asked her the regular stuff everyone needs to answer before joining the guild and approved her to join the guild. Mira took Lucy and stamped the guild mark in the same place as anime. It was pink in color.
Lucy introduced herself to the guild and became friends with everyone fast. She especially liked hanging out with Levy and Lisanna. Both of them helped her find a suitable apartment for cheap. It was the same apartment she took in the anime.
Natsu watched all of this with a smile. He was only interested in Lucy as a friend for now. He didn't want to give her the wrong impression that he is interested in her by continually helping her.
The day quickly passed by, and he left the guild with Mira. Both of them were holding each other hands. After reaching his house, he promptly carried Mira over to the bed and started passionate love-making. He missed her dearly and wanted to show her just how much he missed her through his body. The house was filled with lustful moans and erotic flesh slapping noises.
