TEAM 7

"What did you say?"

"yes lord hokage you heard me right, naruto was too fast to catch his movements even to a chunnin like myself" Iruka confirmed once again.

"hmm" Hiruzen was contemplating the current predicament that he just heard. After thinking for while he said "Iruka I am making this an A-rank secret nobody should ever know what happened tonight with mizuki you got it?"

"Yes lord hokage nobody will ever hear a word about todays event" Iruka replied with determination.

"Okay now you can go home no need to worry about naruto" Hiruzen said and dismissed Iruka for today.

"Yes lord hokage" Iruka said and exited the room. Meanwhile Hiruzen was thinking something crucial, 'I knew that Naruto was hiding his abilities since I have seen him practice in the morning everyday and through the reports I have seen I know that his academy results are fake'.

'Whatever you do Naruto but just don't go against the village or I might have to pick the side of the village. Sigh minato I have failed you'. Release a puff of smoke while looking at the picture of a young man with sunny blond hair and blue sapphire like eyes.

'Ugh this paperwork'.

Two days have passed since graduation and all the students that have graduated are in the classroom waiting for there sensei to arrive and assign teams to them.

A while later Iruka walked in with some files in his hands. After taking the attendance Iruka started to lecture them about what it means to be a Ninja and what rank is a genin.

Soon it was time for team placements Iruka started with team 1

"team 1 cannon fodder 1 2 and 3, your jonin sensei will be...."

" team 2...."

" team ..."

" Team 7 Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki, your Jonin sensei will be Kakashi Hatake".

"Yes, True love won!" Sakura shouted from her seat like a banshee she was, and every girl glared at her except hinata.

Hinata was only looking at the direction of naruto dissappointed to be not in his team.

"Team 8 Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuuga and Kiba Inazuka, Your Jonin Sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi".

"Team 9 is already on the roll"

"Team 10 Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi. Your jonin sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi"

"After lunch all the jonin sensei's will collect you according to the team placement" Iruka said and motivated all the students to work hard and walked out of the class.

After lunch break, one by one every teams jonin instructor came took their teams away.

"Team 8 come with me" A beautiful woman with black hair and red hair called out from the door of the classroom.

"Team 10 come with me" A young man with a beard and a cigarette in his mouth called out.

Team 8 and Team 10 got up from their seat and followed their sensei outside. while going outside Kiba remarked "looks like the dobe team gets a dobe sensei" Sakura wanted to retort but kiba was already gone.

Only Team 7 was remaining in the class, seeing that I have to atleast wait for 2-3 hours I decided to do the most productive thing that I can do and that was to sleep.

Sakura seeing me sleep she said "Hey stupid Naruto why are you sleeping right now what if our jonin sensei get angry if he sees you sleeping"

"Well Sakura he hasn't arrived yet and if comes I will be awake by that time" I replied to sakura and go back to sleep.

Hearing me she wanted to argue with but seeing me not paying any heed to her she sat back at her seat with 'hmph' and again started to fantasize about a relationship between herself and Sasuke.

3 Hours passed by in a flash. I woke up from my beauty sleep when I sensed the presence of a person standing in front of the close door and saw sakura had a red face because of anger and was saying something and calling our still didn't meet sensei idiot and asshole. Sasuke also had a irritated face.

 The sound of door opening was heard and a person with gravity defying silver hair, a mask covering his covering face and hitiate was covering his left eye. Only his left eye was visible throughout his face, yes its was team 7's jonin sensei kakashi hatake. After walking inside the classroom he looked at his team and said "my first impression is you all are boring, meet me at the rooftop in 30 seconds" saying that he flickered away.

Sakura and sasuke quickly got up from their seat and made their way towards the rooftop. Seeing them exit the classroom in a hurry Naruto also vanished from spot and appeared before kakashi. While kakashi was waiting for everyone in midst of reading his icha icha paradise he noticed a movement in front him and what he saw made him stunned because he saw naruto was standing in front of him with a smile on his face and bandage wrap around his his eyes.

'I thought he was a dead last in the class not practically from the reports I got from lord hokage but still does he know body flicker technique' kakashi thought. Jusr when he was about to ask naruto how he came so fast the sound of footsteps was heard and both the other 2 members were standing before both naruto and kakashi. Sakura was panting heavily and sasuke was not totally out of breath.

Sakura saw Naruto was standing there in front of Kakashi and she said with a confused face "Naruto how did you came first even though you weren't even behind us". Sasuke was also seething with anger seeing naruto appear before him

[A/N: In this universe sakura doesn't hate naruto to the extreme because naruto doesn't bother her and don't try looking 'cool' like sasuke. As for sasuke he was not approached by naruto so his thirst for revenge was to the extreme.]

Hearing Sakura questioning him naruto didn't reply her and turn his head toward the lazy jonin.

Kakashi siad "Ok everyone since all of you have arrived we will start with intoductions". Sakura cofusedly asked "How should we do that sensei? Why don't introduce yourself first"

He sweat dropped a little from the back his and started to introduce himself " I am Hatake Kakashi, your jonin instructor, my likes and dislikes are not your concerns and as for my hobbies and dreams never thought about it".

Sakura and Sasuke inwardly 'he only told us his name'. As for Naruto he only had a smile on his face.

Kakashi suddenly said "Pinky you go first".

Sakura said " My name is Sakura Haruno, My likes are" She had a silly smile after looking at Sasuke "and my hobbies are" she again looked at Sasuke blushed and giggled "my dreams is" She again looked at sasuke with hungry eyes".

Kakashi sighed and said "Any dislikes?"

Sakura replied almost instantaneously with distorted "Ino pig"

Kakashi then pointed at sasuke and said "Now Blackie you"

Sasuke didn't like how kakashi addressed him but he still complied and said "My name is Sasuke Uchiha, My likes and dislikes are none. My dream, it's not merely a dream I am going to make it a reality, I am going to kill a certain someone and restore my clan".

Kakashi thought, 'It must be about Itachi, it is as clear as day. He wants to avenge his clan by killing itachi, a path of revenge'.

Sakura was surprised when she heard what sasuke said and thought 'So cool Sasuke-kun'. She didn't it to heart when he said he was going to kill someone.

Kakashi said "And lastly you red haired blondie".

Naruto said, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and my goal is to be strong and earn respect".

Kakashi thought 'same as what the hokage told me'.

Kakashi asked "Any dislikes?". Naruto replied, "It's beneath me to be disliking someone or something".

[A/N: Yep it's the start of his honoured life]

After hearing naruto kakashi didn't the matter any further and said "So the introduction is over meet me tomorrow at training ground 7 for your survival test".

Sakura suddenly said "But we already did the survival test".

Kakashi said "Yes you did pass the survival test of the academy but that test was only to weed out the useless ones and this test is conducted by the specific jonin instructor to remove the useless ones who are not ready for their ninja duties".

After explaining Kakashi again said " Meet me at 6 in morning for your survival test and a word of advice try not to eat anything or you might puke".

Saying what he wanted to say Kakashi vanished from his spot. Sasuke said with a serious face to both sakura and naruto "Try not to drag me down both of you or you might regret it".

He left after saying his words while sakura following him from behind. Naruto thought while looking at the sky 'this is gonna be a long 6 months. I will just have endure it till chunnin exams'.
