I knew my Sharingan was about to upgrade, I was using its active ability to slow down my reference of time, the balloon in front of me was as still as a rock while I could see the distortion of Chakra because of my Sharingan. After suddenly receiving two massive quests on that day in the Naka Shrine, Team 7 was given a mission the next day, it was a C-Rank mission, it was a simple bodyguard mission that was boring because we didn't even meet bandits out from here to the capital, and then another C-Rank mission on the way back to protect a merchant cart that slowly made its way from the Capital to Konoha.

'At least we got to fight bandits on that one...' I was currently in my empty house, my Sharingan was active along with my Chakra sensing that had further evolved during this time, I was holding a Rasengan in my hand while watching the two skills grow up in proficiency.

'Fucking finally...' I opened my Uchiha Skill tree and now the upgrade option for my Sharingan to 3 tomoe was available. Today was another Clan meeting and I was hoping to complete one of the Legendary missions today, 'well it was just for the power-up, no way am I going to put the world into eternal sleep just for some levels, right?'

Breaking out of my fantasy I clicked on upgrade and 300SP was removed from my balance.

I let go of the Rasengan and the ballon destabilized as it popped from the turbulent chakra losing its form... I looked out towards the night sky, the time for the meeting was approaching but I stood there for a second.

'One more goal achieved...'

My thoughts keep bouncing between my goals, or missions, or quests, it felt like I was just pushing myself to just complete the quest that I receive from either this system or from the village. The time I spent with my team was good, the village was peaceful which was a nice sight to see, but it never gave me any comfort.

'Or you could say, peace! I feel uncomfortable, bugged down by paranoia of being watched in my own home.'

The unsettling feeling has brought me down a lot of times but it just kept piling on, the only reason I think I haven't cracked is probably because of Gamer's mind, because it allows me to sleep soundly, the only time I feel at peace was when I am unconscious...

A calm overcame me all of a sudden as my thoughts cleared, it was a little disorienting but it gave me a little respite, I blinked as the negative emotions influencing me were vanished.

'huh, what was that...'

It took me a moment to realize that it could possibly be linked to the Sharingan, normally Sharingan upgrades only happen when Uchiha is under tremendous stress, beating themselves over their own failures, or due to indescribable sadness. But I activated my matured Sharingan due to the click of a button. In the show it was mentioned that an Uchiha develops a special chakra due to their negative emotions which activate the Sharingan for the first time, maybe it was what was needed every time I upgraded my Sharingan.

'But nothing happened when I upgraded during the spar with Shisui... maybe I was too distracted.'

Speaking of distracted, Sensei had looked a little distracted the past couple of days, I'll probably figure out why soon, I closed the door behind me before quickly made my way towards the Naka Shrine.

There were quite a few members of the Uchiha clan already there, I walked up to the stone tablet after greeting Fugaku-sama. A small amount of Chakra turned my eyes into blood red as I read the rest of the tablet. The new part that I now was able to read due to my fully matured Sharingan was how to evolve your Sharingan to the next stage, it was nicely worded but what was written on the tablet was that the loss of a someone close to you by your hand would unlock the next stage.

'The Mangekyou Sharingan... so this is the part that Zetsu added as well, there is no way Hagoromo told the descendants of Indra how to unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan...'
