The Chunin exam is a test for top Genin from Konoha Village, Sand Village, and nearby countries. The goal is to strengthen bonds between allied nations, improve ninja skills, and maintain balance in power. Essentially, it's a military exercise.

The next day, Team 7 gathered on the bridge, and as usual, Sensei Kakashi was late.

Sakura sighed heavily, "Oh, what's going on? He asked us to come, but he's late again."

Naruto leaned on the railing and complained, "I wonder what excuse Sensei Kakashi will come up with this time."

Sasuke nodded in agreement.

"Good morning, everyone! I got lost on the road of life again today," Kakashi said, arriving late with a smile and a wave.

"Sure enough, it's the same lame excuse again!" Naruto and Sasuke said together in surprise.

Kakashi took out three forms and handed them to Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. "Although it's sudden, I've recommended you for the Chunin Exam. These are the application forms."

"It's this!" Naruto exclaimed, taking the form.

Sasuke and Sakura looked confused. They didn't know about the Chunin Exam. They hadn't met anyone from Sand Village like Naruto did.

Kakashi briefly explained the Chunin Exam and told them to submit their forms to Classroom 301 at the Ninja School before 4 PM tomorrow. After that, Kakashi left, and Team 7 disbanded.

As Naruto was about to leave, Sakura stopped him.

"Wait, Naruto, did you know about the Chunin Exam beforehand?"

Naruto replied, "Isn't it like this every year?"

Sakura was left speechless.

Sasuke's eyes lit up with anticipation and determination. "During the Chunin Exam, there will be a lot of strong ninjas."

"That's for sure!" Naruto said, putting a hand on Sasuke's shoulder and smiling.

Sasuke didn't pull away. He looked calmly at Naruto. Sakura watched the two of them with wide eyes.

Naruto continued, "Yesterday, I met some ninjas from Sand Village. They're not simple, especially the one named Gaara. He's probably the toughest opponent this year. We also have to look out for our seniors, Hyuga Neji, a genius of the Hyuga clan, and Rock Lee, who can't do ninjutsu or genjutsu, but is amazing with taijutsu."

"Wait, Naruto. He can't do ninjutsu or genjutsu and is still hard to deal with? Are you kidding me?" Sakura asked, curious. Sasuke also listened carefully.

Naruto explained, "I met Tenten at the ninja tool shop. Hyuga Neji and Rock Lee are her teammates. Both of them are strong. Even Tenten is great with summoning weapon skills."

Sasuke's face showed a faint smile. "Interesting. I've noted all this down. But more than them, Naruto, I'm looking forward to fighting you."

Naruto put down his hand from Sasuke's shoulder, waved, and said, "Bye, see you tomorrow at the Ninja Academy gate."

"Wait, Naruto, where are you going? Isn't that the direction to your home?" Sakura shouted, seeing Naruto going the wrong way.

Naruto stopped, turned around, and pulled out a movie ticket from his pocket. He waved it with a smile and said, "I'm going to watch a movie, 'The Adventure of Princess The Chunin Exam starts tomorrow, and I want to relax today to be in the best shape for tomorrow's challenges."

"Oh, come on, Sakura and Sasuke. This movie has been out for half a month; it's not the premiere," Naruto said, waving.

"Boring. I'm going back to practice," Sasuke said, snorting and putting his hands in his pockets as he prepared to leave.

Sakura said stiffly, "In that case, I'll let it go." But inside, she was thinking, "I really want to see it. The three of us have never been together. And why did Sasuke let Naruto get so close to him? I haven't even held Sasuke's hand. Damn Naruto, I'm so jealous…"

"Don't say that. Sasuke, let's go together. And you too, Sakura," Naruto said, grabbing Sasuke's arm. Sakura was stunned that Sasuke didn't shake it off.

Sasuke followed Naruto to the cinema. After Naruto bought tickets, he gave them to Sakura and Sasuke. Sakura saw her seat number was next to Sasuke's, but Naruto's was closer to the front.

"This, this, this… Sitting next to Sasuke, and Naruto's not here. It's like a date!" Sakura thought, her inner self cheering, "Well done, Naruto!"

Naruto, unaware of Sakura's thoughts, smiled. "It's about to start. Let's go in!"

Sasuke looked indifferent and went in with the tickets. Sakura's heart pounded with excitement. Sitting next to Sasuke in the cinema without Naruto disturbing her felt like a dream.

But when they found their seats, Sakura's smile faded. There was a wide aisle separating her from Sasuke.

"Naruto actually bought a ticket across the aisle…" Sakura thought, feeling dejected.

Naruto's seat was slightly forward. As soon as he sat down, he smelled a pleasant fragrance, the same one he noticed on Shira. He glanced to his right and saw a woman with a mask, a linen coat, a black cap, and earrings. Her beautiful blue eyes glanced at Naruto before looking at the screen.

"Why does she look so familiar?" Naruto wondered. The pleasant fragrance came from her. She had a pair of sunglasses in her coat pocket, clearly disguised.

Just as Naruto was thinking, the movie started. He stopped pondering and focused on the movie.
