In the area of the Hokage Building, which was covered in mushroom clouds, and the Konoha center area of Hokage Rock, a figure suddenly burst out of the smoke. The white robe that had once adorned him was now gone, replaced by a black-armored combat uniform reminiscent of the Warring States period.

This was undoubtedly the greatest crisis Hiruzen had faced since becoming Hokage. With the Second Ninja World War still ongoing and the conflict with Sand Village continuing, the failure of the Nine-Tails' transfer only added to the turmoil. And to make matters worse, the White Fang had just died!

"Damn, if only I'd dealt with the White Fang later," Danzo muttered quietly, a comment only audible to Hiruzen.

Just as Cloud Village has the Third Raikage, known as the "strongest Raikage," who can suppress the Eight-Tails when it goes berserk, Konoha doesn't have a comparable force to handle the tailed beasts alone. But with the number of Kage-level ninjas present—Hiruzen, Danzo, and the Three Ninjas plus White Fang—there were six in total!

What village would dare challenge Konoha at its peak?

If White Fang had been alive, Hiruzen and Danzo would have had an easier time. But there was no use lamenting over that now. The priority was to drive the Nine-Tails out of Konoha and minimize the damage to the village.

Whether they could re-seal it was uncertain.

"Summoning! Come forth, Monkey King Enma!"

Hiruzen bit his finger, summoned Monkey King Enma, and transformed it into a Adamantine Staff, standing before all the Konoha ninjas. He shouted, "Follow me!"

"Attack!!"

Thousands of Konoha ninjas raised their arms in response. In unison, they unleashed a barrage of colorful ninjutsu against the Nine-Tails.

The Nine-Tails merely sneered disdainfully. Its tail, sweeping like a tornado, sent hundreds of Konoha ninjas flying through the air, killing them instantly!

This was far worse than the future invasion by the Six Paths of Pain. The Nine-Tails, in its full form, was a force of nature that could intimidate even the most powerful ninjas.

Yusuke watched from the rooftop, laughing ecstatically.

To be honest, Yusuke wasn't a schemer like Hiruzen or Danzo. His former life as an ordinary person didn't prepare him for such political machinations. But as a traveler in this world, he understood why Sarutobi and Danzo could be so ruthless against Konoha's geniuses without a second thought.

The foundation left by Senju Hashirama and Madara Uchiha was formidable, and Konoha was overflowing with talent. Since Hiruzen took office, the Three Ninjas and White Fang were among the top Kage-level geniuses. With the Third Shinobi World War still not concluded, the pressure on Konoha was immense.

The Nine-Tails Rebellion was a significant blow, exacerbated by the deaths of key figures like Minato Namikaze. Konoha's most promising talents like Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi, and the open Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, would eventually rise, but the old generation's foolishness led to their current predicament.

Yusuke saw this as an opportunity to strike at the heart of Konoha. If they could disrupt Konoha's power structure and force them to focus their attention elsewhere, he would have succeeded in his goal.

At that moment, Yusuke noticed Tsunade leading Uzumaki Mito and Kushina toward the central area of Konoha where the Nine-Tails was causing destruction. They clearly intended to join the fight.

"I can't let you make things worse..."

Yusuke smirked, donned a mask similar to Obito's, and instantly appeared in their path, prepared to stop them.
