Forest of Death

Team 7 finally arrived inside the examination room. Lee didn't ask to duel sasuke since they were already doing sparring from time to time and were already familiar with each other under Gai's request since he needed opponents to motivate Lee.

As they arrived, Karin immediately warned them since she sensed two chakra signals that were way stronger than anyone present. Naruto and Sasuke immediately took notice and raised their guard but they were approached by team 8 and 10 which stopped their train of thought.

Ino immediately jumped on Sasuke and screamed his name while Naruto went to chat with Shikamaru, Choji and Kiba.

"So you guys are also participating. Too bad for you guys that you have to beat me if you want to be promoted" Naruto said while laughing.

Shikamaru just replied with his usual catchphrase while Choji was quietly munching on his chips.

"I'll make sure you eat your words. Akamaru and I have become much stronger than we were when we were in the academy."

Kiba didn't call him Dead last since Naruto became much stronger and was able to secure a good spot in the academy only surpassed by Sasuke in Taijutsu and Bukijutsu but he still sucked at theory since Tetsuya never taught him anything in that department.

Naruto soon turned his attention to Hinata, who did not faint anymore in Naruto's presence so they were able to have a conversation although Naruto did most of the talking. Meanwhile Shino and Karin were just standing around without saying words.

Soon enough, Kabuto approached them and showed his card trick but Sasuke didn't have anyone to ask for since they never encountered Gaara and he was already familiar with Rock lee. So, Kabuto didn't make any impression on them.

Morino Ibiki soon entered the room and interrupted their little chat.

As they were taking their seats, Ibiki soon explained the rules of the exams and finally, the chunin exams officially started.

All three of team 7 soon smiled after hearing the rules of the exam since Tetsuya once talked about how his chunin exam went and Karin who immediately took the hint, gave her teammates copy seals beforehand just in case.

Their exam went smoothly as Sasuke copied with the sharingan then used the copy seal to give the answers to Karin and Naruto.

While it may be considered cheating that I gave them hints about the first exam, the point of this exam is cheating so it should be alright, right? Tetsuya thought to himself while in a hidden room observing the contestants with other Jonin sensei.

As time passed, more and more candidates were eliminated. And soon came the 10th question.

Naruto who was already confident on himself passing the exam didn't do his famous speech so much more candidates were eliminated than in the original story.

As Ibiki was explaining the meaning of the exam, Mitarashi Anko bursted through the window.

They were now at the forest of death, Anko then proceeded to explain the rules of the exam and after they received their scrolls, they finally entered the forest of death.

After they went in, they walked in and soon found a river. Sasuke proposed to make a camp here and plan what they were going to do now.

Naruto wanted to interject after hearing Sasuke giving them orders but he suddenly remembered that they had a fight to decide the team leader during one their sparring and Sasuke won so he chose to keep his mouth shut and just groaned.

As they set up camp, they soon wanted to discuss what they would be planning but Karin suddenly interrupted.

"A chakra signature is heading towards us. It's very big and malicious. 3 minutes until it reaches us"

Naruto and Sasuke immediately put their guards up. They soon came to a conclusion that they can't outrun the person so they decided to stand their ground and intercept him.

Orochimaru wanted to hide and separate them but seeing them already on guard, He decided to show up.

"So you noticed me. It seems that you have a competent tracking Ninja in your team." Said Orochimaru while licking his lips.

Orochimaru soon released his killing intent towards them but Tetsuya already showed them his killing intent multiple times so they were more or less used to it.

"This guy is strong, He's at the same level as Tetsuya-sensei" Sasuke thought.

Orochimaru was surprised upon seeing them withstand his killing intent and then advanced towards them.

Sasuke soon tried to bargain with him but by offering their scroll in exchange for leaving them be. But Naruto was outraged by Sasuke's cowardice prompting him to tell him to shut up.

Orochimaru just smiled and told them that he didn't want their scrolls but seeing Orochimaru not intending to bargain, Karin immediately threw an Explosive Kunai and retreated while Naruto and Sasuke immediately used Wind Style: Pressure Damage and Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire respectively making a combo that burned away what was in front of them.

Orochimaru summoned Rashomon Gate to protect himself.

Naruto immediately created a hundred clone to rush towards orochimaru but seeing the number, Orochimaru used the Wind style: Great Breakthrough to get rid of clones immediately and uprooted some trees.

Seeing this, Naruto and Sasuke rushed towards him to engage in close combat. Orochimaru indulged the both of them to check Sasuke's level.

After a few moments of fighting, Orochimaru was satisfied with Sasuke's level.

Soon enough, the two of them were blown back after they got kicked.

Seeing Naruto using Kyubi's chakra, He used the five element seal and Naruto fainted.

Sasuke who saw Naruto fainting immediately entered a state of rage and used to chidori to rush at Orochimaru.

Orochimaru stopped the Chidori with one hand and started talking.

"You're really Itachi's brother, aren't you? Both of you are geniuses."

 Sasuke then got even more enraged asking where itachi was. Orochimaru then bit sasuke's neck and said

"Let me give you a gift. Come seek me if you wish for power for revenge."

A mark then appeared on his neck and he screamed in pain while holding his neck.

Karin seeing the desperate situation finally decided to use the scroll that Tetsuya previously gave her.

As Karin used the scroll, a white smoke appeared and soon enough, Tetsuya emerged from it.
