Chapter 92 - Mio Naruse Pov I

Mio Naruse is the daughter of the previous Demon Lord, Wilbert and a human named Ashe thus making her a humanoid demon, as well as the niece of Sapphire.

Mio was living her life was the princess of Demon Faction. The Demon faction had formed an alliance with all the major and powerful faction and decided to be a neutral faction. Wilbert her father, just like the Devil king brought peace to their territory which allowed their Demon territory to prosper.

But Good days never lasts long. When Mio reached the age of 17, her father and mother was murdered by the new Demon Lord. But fortunately Wilbert her father sacrificed his life in order to let Mio escape.

The death of Mio's parents traumatized Mio.

Mio's Naruse Pov___

My name is Mio Naruse and I am currently 18 years old. One year ago, I used to be a princess of Demon Faction under my father, Wilbert. This past year with the money I had saved, I am have been constantly running. I refused to die, not before avenging my parent. Currently I am on my way to Devil King Lucifer territory. The Demon and Devil factions had great relationship but that alliance was broken by the new demon king.

"Miss you have to be careful. I heard bandits are active around this part of the forest. I suggest you travel in a group to safely reach thr other side." The old man was an adventure. Mio also recently registered as a adventurer in adventure guild. The adventure guild is spread in every cities in the continent.

Mio was fortunate enough to meet this kind old man. Mio and the old man together completed some missions. Because of the old man, Mio had an easy time earning money.

"Thank you very much for everything. But this is where we have to separate. I have an emergency." The old man sighed and nodded.

Ever since escaping from Demon territory, Mio has been running from city to city because the new Demon Lord has been sending his spies to capture her. Last few months Mio never saw any spies following her so she assumed that the Demon King had stop sending spies to capture her. Mio relaxed and stopped running, she decided to settle down in one city and spend some time on training.

But it turned out she was wrong, after 15 days, Mio was on her way to Germory household because Devil King territory is the most peaceful place and Demon King spies won't able to kidnap her. Mio after seeing that spies were following her, Mio decided take a detour.

"I don't understand how those people can find my location everytime." Mio felt very frustrated.

"If I only had mastered my father's powers." Mio never got enough time to master her powers since she is constantly running for her life.

Currently Mio is traveling through the forest with the help of moonlight. Mio tried to walk without making any noise. She was very alert and was ready to cast her strongest spell if the bandits were to show up. Each of her steps was lightly and carefully taken. "Who would have thought the princess of Demon Faction would have such bad time."

Mio knew that if she waited for another day, then the spies would catch her so she was forced travel through the forest in night time when there is high chance of her being attacked by bandits.

" Let's just hope that I don't meet any bandits and safely can reach Devil king territory."

Mio walked for the entire night and managed to see the huge walls around the city.

Seeing the walls, a big smile bloomed on her face. "Finally I have reached. I no longer have to run anymore." Mio wiped the tear on her face.

"Well, well isn't it our former princess..... I heard multiple footsteps from my 4 sides. Soon more than 10 people wearing black cloak surround me. Each of them had a horn on their head. Their faces was covered with black mask. The one who spoke earlier was a girl, it turned out she was the leader of the Assassin.

"Princess, do you have any idea how many demon squads has been searching to find you? Every time you manage to escape whenever we found your location. It was getting really annoying. We or the Demon assassin group searched for your more than an entire year. I must say I am impressed with your hiding skills."

"Fortunately that old man helped us and told us where you are going. So we just waited for you to arrive." So I was again betrayed. This is not the first time when someone close to me as tried to sell me. But still I thought that man was a good man. Mio felt a suffocating feeling on her chest. It hurts, it looks like my heart is not cold enough to survive in this world.

"Capture her." The leader of the Assassin group ordered. Hearing their leader's order, all the 9 assassin was getting ready to chant their spell.

'It looks like I can only gamble this time.' Mio prepared to release a big destructive spell which she bought for an expensive price.

The demon assassin group leader immediately understood what Mio was going to do.

"Everyone retreat immediately." Mio crazily smiled and said.

"It's too late."

A huge wave of energy spread in the surrounding 100 meters. Everything within 100 meters was destroyed. The loud explosion was heard from the city. Grayfia, Finn and Sirzechs too felt that and looked towards the northern part.

S rank destructive magic spell. A type of spell that consumes huge amounts of mana to activate. Being the daughter of Demon King, Mio is born with large Mana reserves whuch surpasses even S rank mages. The words of this spell have been curved on a scroll by rune master. Only a few S rank scroll spells exist in the continent. Mio had to spend all of her savings just to buy this spell, 100 million.

When the smoke cleared, the place where Mio was seriously injured. Her arms, forehead, legs were bleeding. It was taking all her will just to stay conscious at this moment. Mio bite his lips and she refused to close her eyes.

Finn, Sirzechs and Grayfia looked at each other. With their power they were clearly able to sense it.

" I will go check it out." Finn stood and left without waiting for Sirzechs to reply. Finn was bored, he wanted to find something interesting so he didn't hesitate to rush towards the explosion site.
