Ninja Academy Exam

When all of the registered kids got together they waited for the instructions.

"Form a line in front of me, you will be expected to show your physical strength, your chakra control, and your shuriken technique. "

When Riku heard this he got nervous, in the chaos of transmigrating and the worries about the future he forgot about now and that he doesn't know how good his chakra control is or how good his shuriken technique is. One by one the kids in front of Riku went and he started to feel better. Kids with obviously just as bad strength and some haven't even refined chakra yet and others couldn't hold a shuriken right way yet they still passed.

"Maybe because war is imminent then they are accepting of more people," Riku thought.

It was now Riku's turn to show what he's got. For physical strength, he had to battle a chunin teacher which by normal circumstances he would lose in an instant but now the teacher isn't even trying at all so Riku had to show everything he had. He ended up with an 8/10 for physique which surprised him but he was of course ok with it. For chakra control and shuriken technique, he got 5/10 and 4/10 respectively. That was more of what Riku expected.

While he was waiting for the results to be announced he saw that it was Kakashi's turn and of course he aced everything. When everyone was done the teachers took some time to discuss the classes and then announced the results. Everyone except one person passed a kid named Might Guy. The teacher then said that in one week there will be a makeup exam for those that failed and that would be their last chance.

Riku was ecstatic to learn that he passed the exam, but he knew that it wasn't that big of a deal at the end of it all. What he needed to focus on right now was training and getting stronger because the 3rd ninja war was coming up fast. Within the next couple of years, newly graduated Genin will be forced to be cannon fodder for the village. Genin are essentially just sent to their deaths in war. Except the few that do make it are the ones that later become the backbones of their respective village.

While on his way home Riku thought of his training plan for how he should become stronger. Since he had no cheat or system he wanted to get a good idea of how hard he is going to have to work. He needs to train: his sign printing skills, his chakra amount, his chakra control, his taijutsu, his physique, and his genjutsu resistance. While Riku didn't plan on using genjutsu much at all he did want to gather a resistance towards it.

Imagine being the strongest ninja in the world and then being brought down by a Chunin who used Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death on you and you couldn't even fight back. As for how to train this Riku thought that it would be better to train the body for the 8 Gates first as genjutsu's principle is disrupting the chakra flow causing illusions but once you open the 3rd gate than can you have a decent genjutsu resistance. As when the 3rd gate is open the chakra flow is so chaotic that it cannot be controlled very easily.

When Riku finally got home he went straight up to his room to go to bed as the exam took all day and he wanted to get a fresh start on a new day tomorrow.
