Early Graduation

**********Time Skip(3 Months)**********

For the past 3 months, Riku has practiced daily with Sakumo and Guy. He also practiced his chakra control and chakra amount in private. He hasn't made any substantial progress but he made decent progress which he was ok with. He talked to Might Duy and wanted to learn the 8 Gates from him but was told he would need to come back when he's older, around 7 because he is not enough developed yet.

Riku is currently on his way to go to the Headteacher of the ninja school to apply for early graduation. He doesn't think the ninja school has anything more to teach him and with the 3rd ninja war coming up in 2-4 years he needs real combat experience now. Riku eventually made his way to the head teacher's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in"

"Good morning Headteacher." Riku respectfully said as he walked in.

"Ah it's Riku, what can I do for you this morning."

"I was wondering if I could apply for an early graduation."

"Early graduation! No one ever graduated in their first year before! The youngest ever was the Sannin and they did it in their second year. Are you sure Riku? The early graduation exam isn't easy." The Headteacher exclaimed.

"Yes I'm sure, There's nothing else I could learn from the ninja school." Riku flatly stated.

"OK if your sure then I get the paperwork and send it to Lord Hokage.".

"Thank you, Headteacher I'll be on my way now," Riku said as he left the office.

**********Hokage's Office**********

The Headteacher was in a meeting with the 3rd Hokage.

"Lord Hokage I recommend Riku Tanaka for early graduation."

"I see.....he does have unparalleled talent and a great work ethic to match but are you sure?" Hiruzen asked.

"Yes I am, He has the best grades in his year and is also the strongest in the whole school."

"Ok, I trust your judgment and will process this and get back to you on the date of the exam."

**********Back To Riku and Time Skip(3 days)**********

Riku was leaving the Headteacher's office after being told that the exam was tomorrow. He was also told that it was going to be public so everyone who wanted to could come and watch. He wasn't told what he had to do though. Riku sighed, he guessed that just had to wait till tomorrow.

When Riku woke up he got all of his ninja tools ready and left after having a bowl of cereal but not before his aunt gave him some encouragement and that she will be in the stands cheering him on. When he got to the arena he saw about a hundred villagers and about half of the ninja school kids all in the stands ready to watch. Riku walked up to the examiner and got told the rules and what the exam was.

"Riku Tanaka, for your early graduation exam you will have to last in a fight for 10 minutes against an Elite Genin and 2 regular Genin. Everything goes except for killing."

When Riku heard this he was surprised at how difficult this would be. At least for normal kids, for Riku who had trained like his life depended on it, was already a Chunin in combat strength. With the combo of the average amount of chakra, Elite Genin physical skills, and Jonin-like battle tactics he could fight a chunin now.

At this moment the 3 Genin appeared and got themselves ready for the fight.

"Ok ready.....MATCH BEGIN," The examiner shouted.

The Elite Genin was the first to attack by throwing a kunai straight at Riku. Riku then counter-shot a kunai to block his kunai. Riku saw no point in heavily training kunai throwing techniques but still, he had to be at least decent at it to be a ninja at first.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Fang," Riku said to himself

Seeing one of the Genin was hit by the explosion of the Jutsu, Riku rushed up to him and gave him a full-force punch to the gut which sent the genin flying.

"WHAT! He used a B-Tier Jutsu! Why did this kid wait so long to graduate" someone in the stands shouted

"I don't know why but it is impressive that he could!" Someone responded.

With 1/3 down Riku sprinted towards the other Genin and used a small Rasengan to make him lose combat effectiveness.

"What's that Jutsu? It's so strong!" A group of kids in the stands questioned.

With 2/3 down all that was left was the Elite Genin. Riku knew that he could still easily beat this if he could get close and use Rasengan again but the only thing was that the Elite Genin was trying his best to stay away after seeing his 2 teammates get crushed in a couple of hits. So Riku thought he would try his new move. He concentrated chakra on the bottom of his feet and made a hand sign then.....he was gone.

Riku had just used the Body Flicker technique and appeared right in front of the Elite Genin and shouted "RASENGAN".

The Elite Genin hit by the Rasengan flew out and hit the wall, he was knocked out cold.

With the examiner stunned at the scene he just witnessed, a first-year student of the ninja school just beat 3 Genin into submission in under a minute. He announced the shocking results.

"Examinee Riku Tanaka has beaten the opponents and has passed the exam. He is now a Genin of the Hidden Leaf.".
