Naruto: Reduce All Creation to Ash

Kaen Tsurugi died. He doesn't even know how he died, just that he died. He also didn't meet an all-powerful being that guides lost souls to reincarnate for their own amusement either. He thought he got reborn in the past, but that notion was crushed the moment he saw someone running on a wall. Or all the people with ninja headbands. "Sh*t. At least I got a system though. Inventory!... Inventory?... Status? Skills?... Sh*t." Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or Bleach.

Jutsu and Training Plan

I showed up at the academy training grounds at 6:55 am. I've been anticipating this for days now. Shortly after I arrived, Fukumoto showed up as well.

"Ha! I see you got some guts, kid," he says approvingly. "We'll see how long that lasts, though."

Well, that's kind of ominous. "Why?" I ask him after hesitating a bit.

He smirked, "Because this time, you'll be sparring with me." He tossed me a practice blade, this time metal, but with a dull edge. "Prepare yourself!" He said.

I gulped, 'I get the feeling that this is going to be a long morning.'

I was right. For 5 hours this maniac beat me black in blue, all the while throwing out comments like, "Don't lose your footwork!" And, "Keep your sword up, brat!" It was torture but at the same time, I was starting to enjoy it.

Ok, no. I'm not a masochist. I don't enjoy pain. I'm talking about the kind of burn you get after a good workout, or when you raise your max deadlift by 20 pounds. I could literally feel the progress; the muscle memory being engraved into my mind. I know sensei is holding back a lot for my sake, but not enough that I feel like I'm fighting an unbeatable opponent. He's been fighting me at the same speed I'm going and is still kicking my ass with pure skill.

"Alright, brat. Beating you has been fun, but I have better things to do today. I'll be here at the same time next week if you think you can take it. You can keep that sword for practice. You're gonna need it." He said.

I just groaned, too tired to form proper words, as he left.

Once I was alone, I looked at my physical stats.

[Taijutsu

Skills: [Shunpo, lvl 7], [Academy Taijutsu, lvl 5 (max)].

[Kenjutsu

'Damn. I'm gonna have to have to add this to my training routine, aren't I?'

After recovering a bit and eating a good lunch, I headed over into the tree line to find the stream. It wasn't very far, though I walked about half a kilometer upstream to make sure no one was watching.

It was time for the next step in my chakra training; water walking.

I stripped down to my underwear in preparation for getting drenched when I inevitably failed.

"Ok, I remember it being something like a constant stream of chakra to your feet to create a repelling force and then using that force to walk on water. Can't be that hard, right?"

I don't know why I always jinx it, but Newsflash; it was that hard.

"DAMNIT!" I cursed for the… 25th time? I lost count of how many times I fell into the water.

"This is going to be a long day, isn't it?" I sighed.

////// 3 weeks later ////////

Now, at the start, it was super hard. But once I got the knack for it, it became the most awesome thing ever.

"I'm fucking ninja Jesus!" I yelled, standing on top of the water.

Okay, maybe forget I said that.

But anyways, walking on water will never get old. Now, it was time to take it a step further. I plan to kill 3 birds with one stone by training my kenjutsu on top of the water. It will train my chakra, kenjutsu, and physique at the same time. Easy, right?

Oh, Goddamnit. I said it again.

/////// 2 years later ////////

'I am now ten years old. And I am a certified badass.' As I thought this, I took a glance at my status.

So a couple of things. First, I have the reserves of an elite chunin, which still boggles my mind. But I guess it makes sense because Yamamoto did have the most spiritual energy out of all the shinigami. My taijutsu and kenjutsu were just barely chunin level, which was also cool. My chakra control could use a little work, but meh. I'd rather focus on something cooler, like swords. Which is probably very childish but water walking was already enough for me at the moment.

Speaking of the system, I realized another thing when I hit 25% percent in taijutsu and kenjutsu. I can unlock Yamamoto's Shikai. But it requires me to have enough chakra, kenjutsu skill, and fire release skill. Which kind of sucks but is understandable at the same time.

Sadly, I'm not allowed to check out elemental affinities until I'm a genin. Bummer.

On a brighter note, I've become close enough with both of my friends, Ayame and Isamu, that they are basically like a second family to me. Or, in other words, my mom unofficially adopted them and they eat dinner at my house almost every night. They're kind of freeloaders, but it's not like I pay for groceries yet, so meh.

The academy is still boring as ever, and my kenjutsu teacher quit. Well, he didn't exactly quit, he just stopped taking time off from missions. Which is respectable. I mean, a guy's gotta pay for his lunch somehow. He taught me a lot, though. I learned how to hold my footwork over various types of terrain, how to parry and redirect other blades, deflect projectiles, and even the basics of using a katana. Which is obviously going to be my main weapon.

That brings up another problem; zanpaktou. I'm pretty sure that the system isn't going to provide me with one at this point, so I'll have to buy my own. This might be a problem, 'cause it'll have to be a strong enough blade to handle some of Yamamoto's stronger moves.

But soon, I'm pulled out of my worries by our homeroom teacher, Yamanaka Kei.

"Alright class, this is your third year in the academy, so it's time we learn more about chakra. No more history. We are now moving on to things like chakra theory, battle tactics, espionage, and more. The first hour will be dedicated to these subjects. The latter hours will be outside, where you will start practicing with your chakra. Am I clear? Good. Let's get started for today."

'Chakra exercises for three hours? That's going to be so boring for me. Battle tactics are something I desperately need, though.'

I don't know how Yamanaka-sensei managed to make battle tactics dry, but he did. Doing the leaf exercise when I can work out on top of water? Yeah, it was boring. On the bright side, our chakra instructor isn't Mizuki, it's some old man whose name I can't be bothered to remember.

I didn't even bother to hide the fact that I could hold a leaf to my head indefinitely because that's not something that should catch the attention of the more… unsavory sort.

Like, I can't imagine Danzo saying, "Oh? He can hold a fucking leaf to his head for more than 1 hour? I've gotta have that talented kid in Root."

So, while I did impress my instructors with how easily I managed the exercise, it was nothing special.

The rest of the academy day went by as slow as it does every day.

//////// 2 weeks later ////////

"Ok," Yamanka-sensei said, "You lot should be proficient in the leaf-sticking exercise by now, so we are going to move on to the basic three jutsu that you must master before you can graduate; the transformation jutsu, substitution jutsu, and the clone jutsu. While I implore you to keep practicing your control, these three techniques should be your main focus during the chakra training hours. Because part of your graduation exam will be performing those successfully."

The whole class got excited at this. Many whispered about how cool it was that they are finally going to learn jutsus, and I can't help but agree with them. I felt like my progress in chakra has been stagnating, so this could be the thing I need to progress again.

After waiting an hour for the theory part of the academy to be over, we all rushed out to the field.

This time, Yamanaka-sensei came with us.

"Listen up! I am going to demonstrate the hand seals for the three jutsu. It will be up to you to master them." He then demonstrated the hand seals.

"If anyone has any questions, ask me," he said.

At that, everyone started to practice, me included. I figured that if I wanted to eventually do one-handed seals and sealless jutsu, I should start slow. I decided to start with the clone jutsu.

After an hour of practicing the jutsu without any success, I approached our sensei.

"Sensei, I am having trouble with the clone jutsu. I am doing the hand signs perfectly but I'm not having any success in getting it to work." I said.

He looked down at me, "Ah, I think I know what your issue is."

"Really?"

"Yes. It's because you don't have the intent to make a clone."

Okay, that's confusing.

As if sensing my confusion, he continued on, "Remember, chakra is a mix of your physical and spiritual energies. If you are only controlling it physically, and not spiritually, it will not work. For example, the leaf-sticking exercise is the first one we teach not because it's useful for anything, but because it teaches you the basics of intent.

Every time you stick a leaf to your head, what do you imagine is happening?"

And suddenly, I had an epiphany, "I imagine that my chakra becomes sticky so the leaf will stay in place. So you're saying if I didn't have the 'intent' to make my chakra 'sticky' that it wouldn't stick? Even if I move the same amount of chakra to my head?"

He smiled, "Exactly! If you are doing the hand signs without envisioning the result, nothing will happen. At least, that's what modern chakra theory teaches."

"Okay, I think I got it now. Thanks, sensei." I said, genuinely grateful for his guidance.

"No problem."

After that revelation, I went back to practicing.

'Okay, so this time, while I'm molding my chakra, I'll imagine creating an exact copy of myself, just not solid.'

And as I did that, for the first time, it worked! By no means was it a perfect clone of myself, it was a passable attempt.

'Let me check my status.'

[Chakra

Skills: [Leaf-sticking, lvl 5 (max)] [Tree-walking, lvl 10 (max)] [Water-walking, lvl 15 (max)]

[Clone jutsu, lvl 1]

Progress: 45%]

'Nice. Looks like I'm going to make time for this in my schedule as well.'

I looked over to see how everyone else was doing and saw that no one had succeeded yet, not even the prodigy, Neji.

Then I saw Ayame, who had three perfect clones next to her.

'Ah, the sharingan is such a cheat for jutsu. I guess I can't complain, I literally reincarnated with a system.'

Thankfully, the academy only went on for another couple of hours before we were released. Instead of heading to the clearing that I usually go to for training, I went straight home and to my room. Then I got out a piece of paper and started doing something I should've done a long time ago; making a training schedule.

After about 20 minutes, I was done.

Here's what it said:

1st hour: physical training on top of water.

2nd hour: kenjutsu and taijutsu training on top of water.

3rd and 4th hour: Jutsu practice until I master all three. Once mastered, extend kenjutsu and taijutsu practice for two hours.

5th hour: Dinner with friends and mom.

6th, 7th, and 8th hour: One-punch man routine. Repeat until the time is up.

9th hour: bedtime.

This was going to be my schedule after the academy lets out. During the academy, I plan on reading up on multiple subjects, like strategy, traps, the different elemental releases, etc. On the academy's off days, I'll just rest and hang out with my friends.

This will be my schedule until graduation. After that, I've got no clue.

With that done, I ate dinner and went to bed.

Hello guys. I appreciate the positive response. Also, I have this story posted on both ff.net and webnovel. With that aside, I need to address a few things. First, there will be some kido, mainly fire abilities once I do some research. I don't want to add all kido because that would make him more op than he's going to be when he grows up, and it's a lot to keep track of counting the amount of jutsu out there. Second, should I use Japanese when they yell out their techniques or keep it in an English translation? I will keep some things in English like flash step and body flicker, cause that just makes things a little simpler. Please leave a review! I'm also in desperate need of some constructive criticism, so please leave some of that as well.
