46. S-Rank Missing Nin

This is the 1st time Zoro meets a prey that can block his Iai skill. His hunts were usually relatively easy, so he is quite excited by this.

"I can finally go all out in a fight again after a few months. You better not die too quickly, old man."

Zoro unsheathes all his swords and coats them with haki. Then he also uses his chakra on them. But his chakra sword looks different than usual.

Usually, his chakra sword will just be like a plain blue sword aura. But now his chakra sword has sharp edges like a saw and they are moving like a chainsaw.

This is the result of Zoro's training on his Wind Nature Transformation. Now he can use Wind Chakra Blade technique which is more powerful than normal chakra blades.

"I never thought there would be another person who wields a sword in the mouth like him. How unpleasant."

E seems annoyed by how Zoro wields a sword with his mouth. Zoro knows who the other person that E means.

Seems like he really hates B, but Zoro doesn't care about his reason. He is not Naruto who likes to talk with his opponents about idealisms, after all.

E makes another set of hand seals and Zoro is charging towards him. None of them want to talk nonsense and just want to finish the fight.

"Lightning Release: Black Bullets!"

A big blue-black lightning ball appears above E's head. Then it shoots numerous small blue-black bullets at Zoro who just smirks.

Zoro swings his sword really fast to cut the blue-black lightning bullets. He destroys the bullets while still charging towards E, forcing the missing nin to retreat while still shooting the bullets.

Eventually, E's blue-black lightning ball disappears after shooting all its energy as bullets. He also still retreats to escape from Zoro who still chases him.

"Tch! So persistent. Then how about this? Lightning Release: Wolf Pack!"

E creates 10 blue-black wolves that are smaller than the "Black Panther". But because of their number, E can control them to attack from different sides.

Zoro jumps a little and tilts his body forward until he is parallel to the ground. He lines up his swords, making a straight line with them.

"Santoryu: Kokujo O Tatsumaki!" (3 Sword Style: Kalasutra Great Dragon Twister!)

He creates a big blade tornado that isn't vertical, but horizontal. The tornado cuts the ground and trees like butter before eating the 10 lightning wolves, destroying them too.

E widens his eyes seeing the blade tornado is moving towards him now. He clicks his tongue as blue-black lightning chakra starts covering his body.

Zoro can sense E's presence suddenly changes and he disappears from his spot right before the tornado hits him. Then, he suddenly appears quite far on the left.

When he sees E, Zoro is quite surprised because now E's body is covered with blue-black lightning chakra.

"Lightning Chakra Mode?"

Zoro never thought that this guy would use Raikage's technique.

"I thought only Raikage could use that jutsu. Did you also steal it?"

"Steal this? HAHAHA? Boy, this jutsu is not that difficult to copy. It's just using lightning chakra on your whole body to enhance your body's functions like the nerves and muscles. The problem is whether your body can handle the burden from the enhancements or not. Your chakra amount also determines the power of the enhancements."

"I see, so that's why this jutsu can become very powerful when used by the 3rd and 4th Raikage who have great physique. Tch! If my Nature Transformation is Lightning, then I'll also be able to be that fast and powerful, or maybe more in the future."

It's unfortunate that he doesn't have Lightning Nature Transformation. But he still thinks his Wind Nature Transformation is the best for him as a swordsman because wind makes his attacks much sharper as it's the best to cut.

"Now that it has come to this, let me show you something better, boy."

E raises his right hand and straightens 3 of his fingers. His blue-black lightning gets stronger on his fingers, forming something like a sharp spear.

Zoro is surprised once again because that is the 3rd Raikage's technique that can't be defeated in the 4th Shinobi War. Even Naruto needs to use it to defeat the 3rd Raikage himself as it's the only weapon that can pierce the 3rd Raikage's body.

E suddenly disappears again from his spot and reaches Zoro in an instant. Zoro barely blocks E's finger stab by covering his chest with Armament Haki in the last moment, thanks to his Observation Haki catching E's movement.

But the stab still throws him back quite far until he crashes onto a tree and breaks it. The lightning on E's attack also zaps him a bit even though he blocked that attack with haki.

"Shit! What kind of defensive ninjutsu was that?"

Zoro isn't the only one who gets hurt. E's fingers are also hurt because of Zoro's Armament Haki. It's very hard, after all, making E feel like he poked a steel wall.

"That speed was surprising indeed. But it wasn't fast enough to escape my senses."

Zoro was hit because he didn't expect E to be that fast. But he's sure he can sense E at that speed if he focuses more.

E scoffs, thinking that Zoro is bluffing. Though he still can't look down on Zoro's Armament Haki. He feels like his fingers will break if he keeps hitting that.

But he has a solution for that. He just needs to use his fists instead of fingers. While using fingers will cut through things easily, using fists is better at breaking hard things.

He flashes again at an even faster speed than before because Zoro could react to that previous speed. E appears on Zoro's left and sends a very fast punch at Zoro's head.

However, his fist is blocked by a pair of black swords. E is very surprised Zoro can really react to his speed and even blocks his punch even though Zoro still gets pushed by his attack.

"So you can get faster, huh? That's quite surprising." Zoro smirks at the surprised E.

"FUCK! DON'T LOOK DOWN ON ME, BRAT!"

E continues his attack. He attacks at a very high speed, but Zoro keeps blocking all his attacks. Zoro just keeps blocking his attack to polish his Observation Haki.

It's a very rare chance to find an opponent that forces him to maximize his Observation Haki. So he doesn't want to waste it. He just uses the flat of his swords to block E's attacks to not injure E's hands.

E is obviously enraged because almost all of his attacks are blocked. Only a few are passing through, but they are blocked by the Armament Haki on Zoro's body.

His attacks seem to not affect Zoro in the slightest as if they are just weak attacks. Furthermore, Zoro has a relaxed expression, making him feel like being underestimated.

What's more, Zoro even blocks with the sword in his mouth many times. E thought he won't have as much power with the sword in his mouth, but it's just as strong as the swords in his hands.

'Dammit! How's his bite so strong? What kind of jaw is that? How did he trained it?' E can't believe someone can train his jaw to be as strong as his hands.

Without E realizing, Zoro slowly stops being pushed by his attacks. It's not that E's attacks are getting weaker. Instead, his attacks are getting stronger and faster because he wants to break Zoro's defense, so he uses more chakra.

But Zoro's Observation Haki is getting better as they fight, and eventually, Zoro stops being pushed completely.

Then, Zoro starts countering E's attacks. Still using the flat of his swords, Zoro pushes E while blocking until he starts pushing E back.

"Is this your limit, lightning man? Can't you go faster?"

E is getting exhausted and started to run out of breath. He knows E can't continue the fight at the same pace, so he thinks of ending the fight now.

In the next attack, Zoro doesn't block E's attack with his swords. He lets it hit his face that has been covered with Armament Haki.

His punch hits Zoro, but E is frowning because it seems to be a deliberate act. Then he realizes it instantly why Zoro does that. He looks down at his chest and sees a pair of swords piercing through his chest.

"Y-you...."

"Idiot. Do you think I will just keep blocking your attacks? You are too angry to realize that if I can block your swords easily, that means I can also attack you back. It also seems like you are too angry to realize that you can't push me back anymore. Also, do you forget that I use swords? My attack range is longer than your arms, but you keep being very close to me and eventually push yourself into my swords."

E's eyes are full of unwillingness as he loses the light in his eyes. There's no way he can survive after having his heart stabbed.

Zoro pulls out hos swords from E's chest, making him have an internal bleeding. Blood fills his lungs as his heart bursts. He died without being able to say another word.
