Miyamoto Musashi,(from baki) the legendary samurai finds himself in the Naruto. *This is my ever first novel I'm writing, I hope you enjoy it.* PS: I'm also using this book as training to improve my skills, so that may also explain some different writing styles. PPS: I have a small phone keyboard and my thumbs are fat, so if something doesn't make sense, I'm sorry. PPPS: PP, that's funny right there. PPPPS: I'm hungry as fuck.
"So that's how it works." Miyamoto had been talking to the shinobi for hours, asking all types of questions, he also found out that this particular shinobi was a kunoichi named "Sanada."
Miyamoto and Sanada were making their way to the village hidden in the mist, though Miyamoto doesn't know that.
Sanada plans to take Miyamoto with her and have him act as a bodyguard as she gets the scroll to the Mizukage, with the bribe of information.
In the distance, faint silhouettes were outlined slightly darker than the mist that surrounded them. Miyamoto could see them clearly as the figures began to move.
"So, who are you, samurai?" Sanada asked.
"Miyamoto Musashi," Miyamoto responded.
"Are you really a samurai? You seem more like a bandit." Sanada said, not noticing the insult she threw at him.
"I get that a lot. I'm more of a ronin, I am my own master." Miyamoto responded, listening to the footsteps closing in.
"Are you meeting with a group, Sanada?" Miyamoto said as he counted the pairs of footsteps closing in.
"No, I'm heading straight back, Why?" Sanada looked over at Miyamoto, he had a face of annoyance, though his eyes still gave off his predatory gaze.
The sounds of footsteps stopped, but Miyamoto knew where the assailants were. In a tree, in a bush, and the puddle up ahead.
"So what is that big scroll you have?" Miyamoto asked, trying to throw off the new party members, keeping them from knowing that he knew.
"Oh, um... It's a... Summon jutsu, it allows me to summon a giant butterfly." Sanada said desperately, trying to throw off Miyamoto.
Miyamoto stopped in front of the puddle.
Sanada took a few steps forward before noticing that Miyamoto stopped.
"Is something wrong?" Sanada said, curiously.
Miyamoto's face went from annoyance back to his predatory gaze. "I need to take a piss, turn around would you." Miyamoto didn't wait for Sanada to turn around and started to piss into the puddle.
"Ew!" Sanada shrieked, wanting to storm away, but just turned her back, not wanting to lose the best chance at getting to the village.
The Shinobi in the puddle would have attacked, but when he saw the bloodthirsty gaze of Miyamoto, he just had to stay there and get pissed on.
The Shinobi in the tree and bush looked desperately for a chance to strike, but they couldn't see a moment, something seemed off when they thought of attacking. Such humiliation boiled the shinobis' blood, their murderous intent leaking just a bit, but tonight to get detected.
Miyamoto gave it a shake before putting it away. Miyamoto stabbed the water, and a muffled scream followed.
The Shinobi in the hiding gave away their hiding spot, one shot out of the bush while the other threw shuriken from the trees.
Sanada turned around at the muffled scream, just seeing Miyamoto stabbing a bloodied puddle with a shinobi and shuriken attacking his back. Sanada did quick hand signs and threw her hands to the ground.
"Earth Release: Mud Wall!"
A mud wall shot out of the ground, cutting off the shuriken, but not fast enough to stop the shinobi.
Miyamoto took out the blade from the puddle, turning around and delivering a swift and clean overhead strike down the shinobi's body, splitting him in two.
The two halves of the shinobi stumbled in opposite directions, their tendons, muscles, and nerves still moving as they fell to the floor.
Miyamoto wasted no time stabbing the puddle again, piercing deeper into the puddle until the guard of the sword was submerged.
Sanada charged towards the tree where the last shinobi was, doing a series of hand signs before shouting.
"Fire-style: Fireball Jutsu!"
A fireball rammed into the tree, exploding with a bright explosion.
The tree blew apart, sending pieces of flaming wood into the sky and onto other trees, the shinobi landed on the ground and dashed away.
Sanada tried to chase after him, but her injuries before stopped her, so she reached into her pouch and threw shuriken and kunai.
The shinobi jumped off tree trunks and branches to dodge the attacks, when they missed, the shinobi smiled as he looked back in an attempt to mock Sanada. As the flaming wood from the sky fell, the shinobi saw thin lines of string reflecting the light, he snapped his attention forward, finding the shuriken and kunai coming back with double the numbers. The shinobi jumped on a tree trunk and changed directions, making the attack miss completely.
"What an idiot." The shinobi said as he ran.
"An idiot you say?"
The shinobi caught a glimpse of a sword before the world began to spin, he saw his body tumble and roll before smacking into a tree with a crunch. As his head hit the floor, his view slowly faded, and Miyamoto stood in the centre. The shinobi hated him with all his being, Miyamoto was imprinted into his brain before eventually, he gave in to the comfort that the darkness provided.
Miyamoto looked at his blade, not a single drop of blood. Miyamoto pitched up the pouch and then made his way back to Sanada.
Sanada looked through the pouch of the split shinobi, finding more ninja tools and a piece of paper with orders.
Miyamoto emerged out of the misty forest, carrying a pouch.
Sanada reached into the bloody puddle and pulled out a shinobi with a gash atop his head, she searched his pouch and pulled out another set of orders.
Miyamoto threw her the pouch he was carrying, Sanada caught it and pulled out another piece of paper and some scrolls.
"Alright, let's go," Miyamoto said, walking toward the village.
"Wrong way," Sanada said as she walked in the opposite direction.
Miyamoto turned around and followed Sanada.
A few hours later and they could see the village in sight.
"What a strange place to have buildings," Miyamoto commented.
"Really? I thought it was pretty creative." Sanada responded as she walked down a hill.
"Too many trees, too many places to hide," Miyamoto said, walking next to Sanada.
Sanada looked up and could agree with Miyamoto. "Yeah, I guess your right, but that hasn't happened yet."
Out of the corner of his eye, Miyamoto saw a flicker of light, he pulled Sanada back by the collar.
Sanada gagged as she was pulled back. *Thunk, thunk* Sanada looked over into the nearby tree trunk, two silver needles were lodged in the trunk.
Miyamoto let go of Sanada's collar, allowing her to stand up and look around.
Miyamoto already spotted the figure that threw the needles, they were hiding in a tree, the leaves of the tree rattled and the figure was gone.
"Who is it this time?" Sanada sounded more annoyed than afraid thanks to Miyamoto's fighting skills.
"You should run to the village, you will only be a liability," Miyamoto said, with a calm tone.
Choosing to be numb to the insult, Sanada took off running through the branches of the trees, leaving Miyamoto alone.
Once Sanada left, a heavy mist rolled in. Miyamoto stepped into his stance, holding his sword behind his back. Miyamoto didn't try to look for a figure, such actions would be meaningless, instead, Miyamoto focused on his hearing.
Heavy shuffling, powerful stomps, light kicks off wood, and the breaking of wind. The hidden figure thought that they would be able to see Miyamoto in the mist, but because he has no chakra, the figure could track him, leaving them as blind as Miyamoto.
Miyamoto stood where he was, the noises stopped, and the most began to lift, allowing Miyamoto his sight back.
As the mist started to lift, the figure could see the silhouette of Miyamoto. Without hesitation, they jumped into the air, swinging their sword down upon Miyamoto.
With a darker grey to the outline of the figure, Miyamoto saw them jump into the air, but was surprised by the size of their weapon as they swung at him.
Miyamoto and the figure clashed, clearing a small area of mist completely.
Miyamoto could hear the door-sized sword cut into the tree trunk behind him. Miyamoto was now face-to-face with the assailant
The assailant tried to stomp on Miyamoto's face, but he escaped the sword clash, forcing the assailant to kick off the tree trunk and jump several meters away.
Miyamoto watched the assailant do the jump and land back in the mist. After a few quick hand signs, the mist was then lifted completely, revealing the assailant in full.
"I am Zabuza, one of the 7 swordsmen, and I am here to take your head!" Zabuza raised his colloidal sword with one hand, pointing the tip at Miyamoto.
Miyamoto couldn't help but be intrigued as he stepped into his stance again.
"Zabuza, eh? You've grabbed my attention. Don't disappoint."
