Chapter 102- Outburst

Renjiro was in a state of pure frustration. It was as though he was trapped within his own body. Each attempt he made to move felt like pushing against an unyielding wall, his muscles refusing to respond to his commands.

The last time Renjiro was in a similar situation was way back when he transmigrated into this world. He clearly remembered when he woke up in a strange body in Uzushiogakure and the overwhelming sense of helplessness as he couldn't move and was relegated to a watcher of the Original Renjiro's childish actions.

And now, faced with a similar sense of confinement, Renjiro couldn't help but feel a twinge of deja vu. It also unlocked a new fear Renjiro did not know he had, Claustrophobia. This was weird because it meant that Renjiro was basically uncomfortable in his own body.

'Calm down, Renjiro. You need to think straight. This cannot be poison, the burning stripes already prove that, so these might be some sort of sealing jutsu. Is it Juijutsu? Most probably. I just need to find a way to undo it.'

With a silent vow to overcome this obstacle, Renjiro focused his thoughts, channelling his chakra all over his body with a newfound intensity.

"Haha!" Ohashi's mocking laughter filled the air.

With a malicious smirk, Ohashi began, his voice dripping with contempt as he revelled in his opponent's suffering.

"It finally happened right? I was a bit annoyed that it was taking longer than usual."

It seemed that Ohashi's words subtly controlled the marks on Renjiro's body as the sensation of burning intensified, the searing pain spreading like wildfire across his skin.

'But when did he use the Juinjutsu on me?' Renjiro wondered.

But before he could even ponder more, Ohashi seemed to read his mind and answered,

"I had to limit myself to only using Palm attacks to place the seals on you. With my attack growing weaker, you might have actually won, but I'm glad everything went according to plan," Ohashi stated.

Renjiro's mind raced as he processed Ohashi's words. 'I should have known. I already suspected that he was planning something.'

"But enough of that, though our mission only included attacking the village and its shinobi, it doesn't mean that I can't enjoy myself," Ohashi said menacingly.

"I am going to kill you. but before I do, I first need to get those precious eyes of yours."

At that moment, Renjiro felt a surge of anger rising within him. He did not know why, but it also made him realize how vulnerable the situation he was in. He could actually lose his life for a second time!

'I need to break free from this as fast as possible.'

With every ounce of determination he could muster, Renjiro focused his chakra, channelling it throughout his body in a desperate attempt to counteract the Juinjutsu that held him captive.

After his declaration, Ohashi naturally walked closer to Renjiro. His intent was clear by the glow of his hands which showed that he was reinforcing his hands for what he was going to do.

Then, Ohashi stopped inches from Renjiro, before plunging his fingers in the latter's left eye socket. A different pain from the seals began assaulting Renjiro.

'Eh? His skin is hard.' Ohashi thought as he used more Chakra and strength to plunge deeper into Renjiro's flesh.

Renjiro's world blurred with agony and pain as Ohashi's fingers kept digging at his flesh. Blood mingled with the sweat on his brow as he fought to maintain his focus, he had to free himself as far as possible.

Fortunately for Renjiro, his efforts bore fruits as the Yang Chakra reached a new level and unleashed a torrent of power that surged through his veins.

"Arrrghh!!!"

With a primal roar, Renjiro unleashed his newfound strength, pushing against the confines of his paralysis with all his might. Renjiro unleashed his fury in the form of a shockwave.

As the shockwave rippled outward from Renjiro, the whole area seemed to bend to its will. Debris that littered the area was sent hurtling through the air like leaves in a tempest.

Houses that once stood proud and resolute were now little more than shattered remnants of their former selves due to the fight, but their foundations were torn asunder by the force of the shock wave.

Walls crumbled, roofs collapsed, and the very earth trembled beneath the weight of his chakra-infused onslaught.

Even Ohashi, whose body was already battered and bruised from their fierce battle, was not spared from the shockwave's relentless advance. He was sent tumbling through the air like a ragdoll, his form tossed and twisted by the raw power that surged around him.

But perhaps the most dramatic effect was the transformation of the ground itself. As the shockwave swept across the battlefield, the earth beneath Renjiro's feet caved in, forming a vast crater that stretched out in all directions. It was as if the very earth had been rent asunder by the sheer force of his will.

Luckily, the Shockwave gradually ended leaving a trail of destruction in its wake leaving both Renjiro and Ohashi lying unconscious amidst the wreckage.

After a few minutes, Ohashi stirred. He struggled to regain his senses, the world around him seemed to spin and blur. His head throbbed with a dull ache, each pulse sending waves of pain coursing through his skull like a relentless drumbeat.

'Where the hell am I?'

For a moment, Ohashi found himself disoriented, unable to make sense of his surroundings as his consciousness flickered back into focus.

'Wait, I was fighting the boy...'

As he slowly pieced together the fragments of his shattered memories, Ohashi's eyes widened in disbelief at the sheer scale of the destruction that lay before him.

'All this destruction. I need to look for the boy, if he has this much power at this age, then he might be a headache in future. I need to kill him now!'

Ohashi began scanning the rubble and ruin, but there was no sign of Renjiro. Panic gnawed at Ohashi's mind as he frantically searched for any trace of the young shinobi who had brought such devastation upon them.

And then, amidst the wreckage and debris, Ohashi spotted a figure lying motionless on the ground. It was Renjiro, his body lying prone amidst the ruins of their battlefield.

With a surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins, Ohashi staggered to his feet. With trembling hands, Ohashi retrieved a kunai from his belt.

Summoning the last reserves of his chakra, Ohashi fixed several explosive tags to the kunai and with a flick of his wrist, he launched the deadly projectile towards Renjiro.

The kunai landed several meters from Renjiro and the explosive tags set off upon impact, unleashing a deafening blast that reverberated through the air.

But the explosion did not even hurt Renjiro. It seemed that there was a barrier surrounding him, protecting him from the explosion.

The only thing that followed was Renjiro waking up from the commotion caused by the explosion.

'Wait...'

It was then that Renjiro realized that something was wrong with him. He has lost his Left Eye.
