Stronger

Naruto strapped six sandbags, each weighing ten kilograms, to his body, totaling sixty kilograms, or 120 pounds. He embarked on his first experience with weighted training, and while the objective remained the same as his previous exercises, the difficulty had significantly increased. His daily training sessions had become more intense, pushing him to his limits.

However, the results were evident. Naruto could feel the noticeable improvement in his physical strength after just one day of this rigorous regimen. With the assistance of Ashura's Chakra and the dual support and recovery effects of the Nine Tails Chakra, he could train without worrying about overexertion.

Upon waking up the following day, Naruto was pleasantly surprised to find that his physical strength had fully recovered, allowing him to continue his training. The "backwoods" referred to the lush forest behind the village. Konoha Village was nestled in the Land of Fire, a region blessed with abundant forests, and it was in this thriving environment that the village had been established.

Naruto had mentally prepared himself for this moment. He had spent all the money from his monthly grant within the first week, leaving him with at least three more weeks to endure. To avoid starving, he had no choice but to venture outside to forage for fruits, wild vegetables, and even hunt and fish if necessary. While he hoped for success, he was also prepared to seek help from Hokage if his situation became dire. He refused to let himself starve to death; that would be too foolish.

"So, after this last breakfast, I'll head into the mountains. Kurama, you're a fox; are you looking forward to returning to a mountainous life?" Naruto playfully teased Kurama.

Kurama snorted in response, expressing its exasperation. It was no ordinary fox but a tailed beast with intelligence and power surpassing that of humans. Treating it as a regular fox was far from accurate.

"Why...why are you so determined?" Kurama couldn't help but ask. It understood that Naruto had spent his remaining money on these sandbags for training, leaving him in this predicament. Money was crucial for a young ninja, even for simple necessities like kunai.

"It is said that an initiating talisman is priced between two thousand and twelve thousand Ryo." 

Naruto's monthly allowance only allows him to enjoy a bowl of ramen every three to five times as a way to improve his meals. It is evident that he doesn't have much money.

It's no surprise that the clothes he purchases are predominantly sportswear, usually budget-friendly, or primarily in dark colors to resist stains...

Kurama was left speechless, wondering why Naruto, at such a young age, was so fixated on becoming powerful and seemed to have developed a fondness for money.

"You said you want to become stronger?" When Kurama asked again, Naruto's face suddenly became serious, which looked a bit odd on such a young face.

In the next moment, Naruto provided his answer: "Of course, I plan to seek a way out. Didn't I mention it? I need Kurama's power to help me escape from this village in the future."

It appears that Kurama is learning for the first time that this child, at the tender age of three, is already contemplating defection. Quite ambitious.

"Furthermore, I'm determined to avenge my parents' deaths in the future. And, Kurama, I'll protect you from now on," Naruto added suddenly.

Kurama was taken aback but then burst into laughter. "Hahahaha, did I hear you correctly? You think I need the protection of a kid? Stop joking; it's making me want to laugh even more, hahahaha."

"There are many things you don't understand, Kurama. For instance, do you know who the mother of the Sage of Six Paths is? Have you ever heard of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya? After all, when you were born, the Sage of Six Paths and his brother sealed their mother away."

Kurama was bewildered, as it seemed to be the first time it had heard the name Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

And how did this child come by such secrets?
