Chapter 49 : Rimuru?

On the screen, a radiant figure sat cross-legged, bathed in a golden light.

"Isn't that what we're doing? We're here to serve the master!" Rongrong continued, moving closer to Yasao.

"Master, we're here to serve you too!" Honghong chimed in, tapping one of Yasao's legs.

Yasao lay there, enjoying their attention comfortably. Cultivating them had proven to be an excellent decision. Although it was initially challenging, they had grown remarkably.

"Master, I..." Kumoko started speaking but quickly realized that her metallic spider legs weren't suitable for a massage, making her anxious. "I must transform soon and give master a shoulder massage!" she vowed.

Garaga, standing nearby, envied their closeness to the master. He, on the other hand, felt that the master didn't favor him much, only assigning him rough tasks. Nevertheless, he was content.

"Hey, if only I had been with the master from the beginning. I could have been as strong as them!" Garaga thought to himself but dared not say it aloud, lest he face their wrath. 

He didn't believe he could challenge them in his current Flood dragon form. The pet list ranking spoke for itself.

In a remote corner of the ninja world, Sun Wukong, disguised as an ordinary person, carried out tasks for his master while keeping an eye on the ranking.

"I'm only fifth? Those four ahead of me must be really powerful," Sun Wukong pondered.

However, he knew he didn't have time for personal challenges. Completing the master's task took priority, and only then could he seek out those four formidable opponents.
