Chapter 50 : Drastic Measures!!

"Yo! You think you can enforce the law on me?"

The troublemaker, Yamano Sandan, was wildly provoking Genya, sitting there as if daring him to shoot—betting that his gun was empty.

At first, Yamano didn't take it seriously, but as Genya tightened his grip, his expression changed to one of discomfort.

His wrist began to bend!

"Ow, ow, ow!" With a cry of pain, Yamano released his grip on Genya's collar.

Genya's eyes flashed with intensity as he leaped, delivering a knee strike that made Yamano double over, then followed up with a kick to his jaw.

In an instant!

Yamano was sent flying, spitting out his teeth.

"Now it's much quieter!" After swiftly dealing with the troublemaker, Genya dusted off his hands and turned to Uchiha Shin behind him. "Uncle Shin, make a note: Yamano Sandan provoked a member of the Police Force Division, ignored three warnings, and attempted to attack the division leader, only to be countered by Uchiha Genya!"

With Genya's words, Uchiha Genya began to take notes.

But that wasn't all.

He stepped forward, grabbed Yamano's hand, and smeared it with the blood on the ground, leaving a handprint.

This was a fact, so no signature was needed.

"How dare you hit me! I'll go report you to the Hokage!" Yamano stumbled to his feet, nearly in tears from the pain, still seeing his teeth scattered on the ground.

His mouth was filled with blood from where Genya had punched him, and now he spoke with a lisp.

He was going to demand at least 200,000 ryo, no—500,000 ryo in compensation.

And he wanted the Hokage to punish Genya.

"I warned you three times; you didn't take it seriously and even tried to attack me!" Genya looked at Yamano, as if discussing something trivial.

"Leader, isn't that a bit harsh?" The store owner, in cahoots with Yamano, aimed to create trouble for Genya. Seeing his comrade so hurt, with missing teeth and twitching lips, he was visibly unsettled.

This kid was ruthless! The owner hadn't even seen Genya's move coming.

It wasn't just the store owner; even Uchiha Shin and other clan members were shocked by Genya's display.

In terms of taijutsu,

Genya was surprisingly stronger than an average genin. No wonder he could consume so much and still train every day; he must have improved.

"He broke your shop and tried to attack me; isn't that worth punishing?" Genya glanced at the store owner, his tone casual. Then he shifted the topic, asking, "Or is your testimony false? If so, you're deliberately misleading the Police Force Division and interfering with the law. Come with me!"

"No, no!" the shopkeeper quickly shook his head. "What I wrote is all true!"

After witnessing Genya's powerful abilities, he didn't dare let anyone say he was lying. If that happened, he was sure he'd end up worse off than Yamano Sandan.

"Someone! Help! The Uchiha Police Force is using violence again!"

"Help! I'm going to be killed!"

"Violent enforcement! Lord Hokage has scolded them several times, but they just won't change!"

"Especially that kid—he clearly wants my life!"

"I'm going to die!"

Seeing that he wasn't getting anywhere in the shop, Yamano Sandan ran outside and began shouting in the streets.

Uchiha Shin frowned, realizing that this would attract more and more confused onlookers. If he let them continue spreading rumors, it could damage the Uchiha Police Force's reputation.

He wanted to step in and stop them, but then he saw Genya nearby, watching with a mocking smile on his young face.

This made Uchiha Shin hesitate. He signaled the clansmen behind him to maintain order and not let anything go wrong.

If something went wrong, Genya shouldn't be merely watching.

With the shouting of Yamano, more and more people started gathering around, until the entire area was packed with a crowd.

Some clueless bystanders began to whisper:

"The Uchiha Police Force is using violence again?"

"How many times has it been this month? The Hokage has reported them so many times, yet they haven't changed!"

"Life under the Uchiha Police Force is awful. I'd rather live with the Sarutobi clan!"

"Shh~ You dare go live with the Sarutobi? You'd be asking for trouble! Do you know that many civilians from Sarutobi's jurisdiction have been moving here to buy houses?"

Among the discussions, two cautious voices could be heard, but more people were criticizing the Uchiha Police Force:

"That person is too pitiful; it looks like his teeth were knocked out!"

"This can't go on; we need to go to Lord Hokage for justice, or they might get even worse!"

"The next victim could be one of us. We can't just sit and wait!"

"The Uchiha Police Force is going too far!"

"That's too much!"

"We can't let them go! Let's go find the Hokage!"

"Yeah, let's go find the Hokage!"

Among the crowd, Genya noticed several people stirring up trouble and inciting the civilians' emotions. They were intentionally trying to provoke violence against the Uchiha Police Force.

"Uncle Shin, remember the loudest ones in the crowd. If they cause trouble in the future, we'll deal with them harshly!" Genya instructed Uchiha Shin.

These people were there to make things worse, and he wouldn't let them off easily if they acted up later.

After identifying the troublemakers, Genya stepped back into the crowd and spoke directly to the increasingly agitated people. "Everyone, please calm down! I'm the leader of the Uchiha Police Force, and I'm here to explain what just happened!"

"What's there to explain? Let's go find the Hokage for justice!" someone shouted angrily as soon as Genya finished speaking.

Uchiha Shin stepped forward. "Quiet! Let our leader finish speaking!"

As expected, Uchiha Shin's words had a strong impact. After he spoke, the crowd fell silent.

"First, I need to clarify a few points!" Genya looked at the crowd and continued seriously. "Firstly, we are on patrol and enforcing the law because the shop owner asked for our help to manage this conflict!"

He felt it was important to establish his own righteousness. At the very least, he wanted to stand on the side of justice.

"We have the shop owner's accusations against the suspect, Yamano Sandan, along with signatures and seals!"

After saying this, Genya gestured for Uchiha Shin to show the signed documents from the shop owner to the crowd.
