The next day, Sasuke approached Nagato with a determined expression. "Nagato, I need you to bring Kushina Uzumaki back to life."
Nagato nodded, preparing to use the Rinnegan's power to revive her. However, that wasn't all. Sasuke had bigger plans.
He decided to resurrect the greatest ninja of history—Senju Hashirama, Senju Tobirama, and the past Kage of the major villages.
Originally, Orochimaru didn't possess the body tissues of the other village Kage.
However, thanks to the efforts of Kabuto Yakushi, who had taken up a rather unusual hobby of grave robbing, he managed to retrieve the remains of the former Kage, including the Third Tsuchikage.
Before the ceremony to revive Hashirama began, Orochimaru approached Sasuke with a wary expression.
"Sasuke, Hashirama is too powerful. I won't be able to control him. If there's anyone here who can restrain him, it's you."
Understanding the weight of the situation, Sasuke quickly learned the Earth Reincarnation Technique from Orochimaru.
Despite the challenge ahead, Sasuke was resolute. He formed the necessary hand seals with confidence.
"Summoning Jutsu: Impure World Reincarnation!"
In the next moment, the ground around them began to crack and debris scattered as figures started to emerge from the dust.
One by one, the legendary shinobi returned—Hashirama, Tobirama, and the past Kage, including the final figure that loomed ominously: Madara Uchiha.
Sasuke completed the jutsu, restoring their souls to their bodies.
As they opened their eyes, Tobirama was the first to speak, his sharp gaze landing on Orochimaru.
"You must be a disciple of Hiruzen. I never expected one of his students to exploit my technique to this extent!"
Orochimaru, usually so composed, couldn't help but show a hint of humility in front of the creator of the Forbidden Jutsu.
"Your Edo Tensei is indeed remarkable, Lord Second. But I've made some improvements to perfect it."
Hashirama, however, ignored the exchange. His eyes locked onto Madara with a mix of nostalgia and excitement. "Madara! It's been too long!"
Madara, on the other hand, glanced at Sasuke, then at Nagato's Rinnegan with a complicated expression.
Finally, he looked back at Hashirama. "Hashirama... I didn't expect you to die so soon after our battle at the Valley of the End."
Hashirama chuckled, though there was a hint of sadness in his voice. "The Senju are known for their vitality, but even I couldn't fully recover from the wounds you inflicted. I lived for some time after, but in the end... I succumbed."
Madara smirked. "Meanwhile, I used the power of the Gedo Statue to extend my life far beyond its natural limit."
Turning to Sasuke, Madara's expression grew serious. "And now, what is your purpose in bringing us back?"
Sasuke met Madara's gaze without flinching. "Madara, I can't fully revive you yet. The Rinnegan's Samsara of Life Technique is something only Nagato can perform."
Madara frowned and glanced at Nagato, who remained silent. After a moment, Madara closed his eyes, lost in thought.
During the early days of Konoha, Madara and Sasuke's ancestor, Indra, had a deep connection. The memories stirred something in Madara, but he kept his thoughts to himself.
With the preparations complete, Nagato stepped forward and performed the Rinne Tensei technique, restoring Hashirama to life.
Madara watched with a calculating look in his eyes. "Nagato, using that technique costs your own life. Are you prepared for that?"
Just as Nagato's life force began to drain, a small dog—White zetsu—appeared out of nowhere, using its own Reincarnation Jutsu to transfer its life energy to Nagato, saving him at the last moment.
Madara blinked in disbelief. "What...? You can do that?"
Even in the chaotic world of ninjutsu, such a display was bewildering. The idea that a dog could alter the effects of a life-draining jutsu was beyond even Madara's understanding.
Tobirama's expression darkened, his voice filled with righteous anger. "You Uchiha brat! You dare to toy with the souls of the dead? What do you plan to achieve by resurrecting us?"
Before Sasuke could respond, Madara moved in a blur, appearing behind Tobirama.
With two black chakra rods in hand, Madara drove them into Tobirama's head, shattering half of his body in a single, merciless blow.
"Little fox," Madara sneered, "I've wanted to kill you for a long time. The only reason I haven't is out of respect for Hashirama."
Tobirama coughed, blood trickling down his face. "Brother...!"
Hashirama merely smiled, almost amused. "Tobirama, calm down. You did kill Izuna, after all. It's only natural for Madara to hold a grudge. Besides, we're all just Edo Tensei now. You can't die again—so why not let him blow off some steam?"
Tobirama's expression turned incredulous. "Brother...?! What?!"
