Obito swiftly decapitated Danzo with a single strike.
Danzo's strength wasn't formidable, especially after Sarutobi Hiruzen became Hokage. Danzo had focused all his energy on managing Root, neglecting his own physical training and growth.
Believing the task was complete, Obito prepared to leave.
But suddenly, within the room, layers of white mist began to rise.
Obito, sensing danger, cautiously pulled out the Uchiha fan from his Kamui dimension.
"Danzo, the second-in-command of the village, won't die so easily, will he?" he muttered.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Wave!"
Out of the white mist, a massive wind sphere hurtled towards Obito. Calmly, he swung the Uchiha fan, countering the attack.
"Uchiha Reflection!"
The chakra from the vacuum wave was absorbed into the fan, then released back as a powerful, destructive force. The backlash shattered Danzo's body into pieces.
But Obito remained vigilant. He could still feel Danzo's chakra lingering in the room. First, Danzo had been decapitated, and now, even after being obliterated, he was still alive. There was only one explanation for this—the Uchiha clan's forbidden jutsu, ''Izanagi''.
As the white mist gradually dissipated, Danzo's figure reappeared, whole once again. He slowly unwrapped the bandages on his arm, revealing ten Sharingan eyes embedded in the flesh, each one moving independently. Two of them had already turned white, blinded from the jutsu's use.
Despite the grotesque sight, Obito's emotions remained cold and detached. He had witnessed too much death to be moved by it.
"These eyes belong to members of the Uchiha clan who died during the Third Shinobi World War," Danzo taunted. "You're an Uchiha too. Why don't you feel anything seeing them?"
Obito ignored him, focusing instead on another plan. Danzo continued, "I still have eight chances to revive. Unless you kill me eight more times, the Third Hokage will notice this battle and intervene!"
Obito suddenly rushed at Danzo, who didn't move, confident in his strategy. He planned to use the remaining Izanagi to delay until Hiruzen arrived to assist him.
But as Obito's hand touched Danzo, he sneered, "Fool."
In the next instant, the space around them twisted, and Danzo was sucked into the Kamui dimension.
Inside Kamui's dimension, Danzo was disoriented. "What's happening? How is he able to pull me in here?"
He realized too late that he lacked vital information about Obito's abilities. It was an insurmountable ''information gap''. But his realizations were futile. In Kamui's dimension, Danzo was nothing more than a lamb to the slaughter.
Obito unleashed a powerful Fire Style jutsu, augmented by Kamui. The twisting flames engulfed Danzo, who barely managed to evade using the Body Flicker Technique. His previous strategy of stalling was now replaced by a desperate bid for survival.
Danzo, eyeing Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan, felt a surge of envy. Though he despised the Uchiha, he coveted their kekkei genkai, especially the Mangekyō Sharingan.
As Danzo tried to dodge, a massive shadow loomed behind him—the Gedo Statue's enormous form. With a thunderous impact, the statue's massive palm crushed Danzo into a bloody mist.
Danzo's Izanagi activated once more, reviving him. Now, only seven attempts remained.
But no matter how many times he revived, within the Kamui dimension, survival was impossible.
Upon his next resurrection, Danzo quickly bit his finger and slammed it onto the ground. "Summoning Jutsu: Baku!"
A massive summoned beast, resembling an elephant, appeared in the Kamui dimension. It opened its enormous mouth, unleashing a powerful suction force that began to pull at the very fabric of the dimension.
Obito observed the creature with mild interest. "Summoning a beast here? It's easy to bring it in, but good luck sending it back."
Obito waved his hand, and the Gedo Statue raised its right arm. Wooden stakes materialized on its fingertips before shooting towards Danzo like a rain of death.
The stakes pierced both Baku and Danzo, pinning them to the ground.
Baku let out a pained screech, while Danzo, impaled multiple times, died once again. Six more uses of Izanagi remained.
Obito, seeing the half-dead Baku, commanded the Gedo Statue to smash it. With a single, brutal slap, the beast was reduced to bloody fragments.
Danzo's fear grew with each resurrection. The confidence in his eyes was slowly replaced by pure terror. He knew, no matter how many Izanagi he had left, Obito would eventually kill him.
Desperate, Danzo began to beg, "Wait! Wait! Don't kill me! I'll give you anything you want!"
