Meeting the Devil Worshipper

Menma was able to encounter a human not very long after travelling for a few miles.

So he stopped as he wanted to talk to the man. Maybe he can find a village that existed nearby from the man.

It was a man with white hair and black eyes. He was carrying some sort of a scythe in his hand.

He was wearing a bomber jacket and a pair of jeans. Along with a locket with a triangle shape imprinted on it.

"Hey, boy." The man called.

"Are you interested in joining our lord Jashin cult?" The man asked.

"Jashin?" Menma was confused.

He just met the man just now and he was already asking him to join something like a gang or a cult.

"You can kill people and you won't get punished. Killing people would please lord Jashin more. How do you say? Want to join." The man asked.

"I refuse," Menma said as he walked passed the man. The way he speaks is too strange for Menma to handle.

"Then I apologize for what's going to happen next." The man said as he swung his scythe at Menma.

"Huh." Menma still had his sage mode on so he was able to sense the man's attack and was able to dodge it.

I knew that he was not someone right in the head since he was carrying a Scythe around and telling me that killing people is ok but I didn't think he would be crazy enough to attack a literal child. Menma thought.

After all, Menma still has the appearance of a child.

"What the hell are you doing?" Menma asked.

"Since you can't see the glory of lord Jashin I am going to end you to release you from the suffering." The man said as he started to run towards Menma.

The body of Menma started to glow as darkish red chakra covered his whole body. A tail was formed by the darkish-red chakra surrounding his body.

[Jinchriki clock version 1(A) activated.]

[Shringan(A) has been activated.]

"That guy is really fast," Menma said.

"What the hell is that? Why is your body starting to glow?" The man said as he looked at Menma and stopped moving towards him.

"Well, no matter. Cause your soul is going to be sent towards lord Jashin."

He then stopped running towards Menma as he started to spin his scythe.

"Wait. That's not just a scythe." Menma said as he noticed something strange with the man's scythe.

The scythe was suddenly launched towards Menma.

The scythe that the man threw seemed to be connected to some sort of cable that he was hiding under his jacket.

Menma dodged the scythe by jumping just before the scythe hit him, stepping onto the blade and dashing towards the guy.

"I got you now. Now, Die for my lord." The man said as he pulled the scythe back towards him it went towards the back of Menma at a very fast speed.

Menma noticed the scythe coming towards him because of the enhanced senses that he got from sage mode.

He extended his hands towards the man.

His hand was too short to reach the man as there was a small distance between the two.

However, the dark red chakra that covered his whole body extended towards the man helping him to grab the guy who was handling the scythe.

Hey. Book. Do you have a powerful shot-range attack that I can use to knock this guy out? Menma thought.

[Activiting tail beast bomb(S)]

This will do. Menma smiled as he saw a dark orb made of powerful chakra in his other hand that was still free.

"Bijudama(Tail beast bomb)." He yelled out as he used the tail beast bomb on the man's body before the scythe was able to hit him.

"What? No. It can't be. I am defeated by this little boy. Lord Jashin. I am sorry for not being able to kill him." The man said as he apologised to someone named lord Jashin before he started to cough out blood because of the tail beast bomb hitting his body.

A small explosion occurred.

The dust covered the area that the two were in.

The man was now lying on the ground with his eyes closed.

His clothes were messed up and his scythe was not near him.

He was unable to fight anymore.

[You are lucky. He was not able to begin his ritual.]

The book reminded him.

"So he still has something that could kill me. Crazy bastard." Menma cursed.

"I am just going to ask him for directions. Who knew that he would try to kill someone that he just met for the first time?" Menma asked.

"What a strange person."

"I hope I never meet anyone like him ever again," Menma said as the dark red chakra that surrounded his body disappeared along with his two Sharingans.

He then started to run again as he continued his journey.

Jumping from tree to tree stepping as he left the man lying unconscious on the ground alone and defenceless.

Of course, nothing is going to happen to the devil-worshipping man as he is immortal.

Not only that he is also a future Akatsuki member.

Akatsuki is an organization that is made up of only elite ninjas. So being able to join them is a very tough task that the devil-worshipping man named Hidan accomplished.

[Congratulations. You have defeated Hidan.]

"Hidan. So that was the name of that crazy guy." Menma said.

[You obtained 100 Dark Karma.]

"Dark Karma?" Menma asked.

However unlike before there was no reply.

Normally the book would respond to any questions that he asked without any delay but it doesn't seem to be responding this time.

What he didn't realise was that there was a small dark moon created on the palm of his left hand and a small white sun-shaped mark on his right palm.

Menma didn't question this Dark Karma anymore and continued to travel.

After all, he just didn't care.

Why does he want to know about this Dark Karma when he doesn't even know where he comes from?

What is its purpose?

And is there anyone related to him in this world?

That is why he was wandering aimlessly just hoping the winds to take him to a place where he could find the purpose of his life.

He didn't know at that time the direction that he was heading towards was a place where the eight-tailed jinchuriki and the two-tailed jinchuriki lived.

The village that is hidden in the clouds. Also known as the hidden cloud village.

FYI, The battle lasted thirty seconds.
