Chapter 4

That's right. Two days ago, when he had killed the Kumo Genin, he experienced a terrifying pain that caused him to faint. However, this pain was actually the result of something awakening in his soul, a power which seemed to have been born alongside him when he reincarnated but had been lying dormant simply waiting to be awakened.

He had yet to find the proper name for it but he instinctively understood its abilities just like how a child instinctively knows how to use its limbs. This new power was now like an extension of himself.

The power did only one thing. Any living thing that Yuu killed, everything that made up its existence would be passively removed from the corpse and transferred to himself. For example, if he was to kill a shinobi, he would retrieve their memories, chakra capacity, jutsus, experience and physique. He would even acquire their remaining natural lifespan. The only thing the power didn't do was take the equipment of his enemies but even, so it was still very powerful.

Now you might be wondering what would the power do if Yuu killed two Genin and obtained two Genin chakra capacity. Would it discard one and absorb the other?

No. In this case the power would offer Yuu two options, he could either combine the two chakra capacities forming a much larger chakra capacity or he could sacrifice one chakra capacity to increase the density of the chakra produced in his single chakra capacity.

In the shinobi world the heavier the density of chakra, the harder it is to control but also the more powerful the jutsus produced.

As for physique, they would be automatically merged to form a new better physique.

The power would only take what could positively influence Yuu and not anything negative hence if Yuu killed a shinobi with a powerful Kekei Genkai but a weak Heart he would only acquire the Kekei Genkai and not the weak Heart.

Right now Yuu could feel the overwhelming power within his body acquired from killing the Kumo Genin. The only reason he hadn't yet been discovered was because using the memories and experience obtained from the dead ninja, he had managed to suppress his chakra as soon as he woke up. Through the Genin's memories, Yuu had found out that the ninja was actually a Kumogakure (Kumo) spy whose entire team had been killed by Anbu ninjas of the hidden leaf and was currently escaping back to his nation when he came across the original Yuu's village. Having already erased his trail in his retreat, he knew that he had diverted the pursuing Anbu's attention for a short moment, and he needed to utilize it. The only method he could think of, of halting the Anbu's pursuit was to make it seem like he had just arrived and joined together with a much larger Kumo team making them hesitate to advance further in fear of being ambushed and killed and so he quickly set out to killing the villagers using ninjutsu of various kinds of the lightning element as well as various sword techniques of Kumogakure which as a spy he had been taught to master to a basic level of acceptance.

However, in the middle of his killing streak the ninja had never anticipated that one of the villagers would have in his possession a powdered anaesthetic capable of affecting a shinobi and hence he was extremely surprised when he was sudden blasted in the face by a pouch filled with white powder. At first the ninja thought that one of the villagers had thrown a pouch of flour in order to blind him but the next second, he felt his arms going limp and his vision becoming more and more blurrier. The villagers upon noticing the enemy's drowsy state attacked him with even more vigour resulting in numerous injuries on the ninja brought about by various farm tools and kitchen ware. However, despite his drowsy state, a ninja was still a ninja and not someone ordinary villagers with very little chakra could deal with.

By the end of it all, the entire village had been massacred but the Kumo ninja was also heavily injured to the point where even he knew that if he was provided medical assistance he wouldn't be able to survive for much longer. And so he quickly dragged himself to a nearby push in which he collapsed hoping to avoid any Konoha shinobi while also hoping for another shinobi of his village to find him.

…Unfortunately, the one who found him was Yuu.

Yuu sighed as he thought about what he had seen in the Kumo ninja's memories. The original Yuu and his village had been slaughtered by a mere Genin simply to confuse Konoha shinobi. What a truly vicious and cruel scheme!! But such was the shinobi world where people scheme and plot against each other without the slightest bit of remorse and Yuu knew that if he wanted to survive he would have to become just as, if not even more, ruthless than everyone else. It would seem that fate thought so as well as it had given him a power that made him stronger by killing other people.

After an hour of contemplation, Yuu sat upright on his bed, his eyes clear and filled with resolve as to what he needed to do. First of all he had decided to do whatever it took to become stronger even if it meant doing things that would be considered evil. The shinobi were naturally killers trained to do the bidding of their village's Kage(leaders) however the things he planned to do would make even those trained killers retch at the thought of his actions however even so he decided to do so due to a variety of reasons. First of all even in his original world, Yuu was not a good person, well he was according to societies standards but that's because he knew he had no choice but to behave in such a society as on Earth a single human being had limits where no matter how hard they tried they would never be able to escape the control of the centralized power known as 'The Government'.

This limitation did not exist in the ninja world as a single person if talented enough could become strong enough to eradicate an entire army. That is the beauty of chakra.

Yuu didn't know much about his talent as a ninja however he knew by killing enough people over time he would grow to become such powerful figures even if his talent was horseshit. That's how powerful his new power was.

Yuu now sat down and began to think about his plans now going forward as he had obtained enough information after meeting Ino and touring Konoha to plan his way forward. He knew that the Uchiha massacre had happened two weeks ago which meant that the world protagonist Naruto and the rest of the cast would soon be graduating from the academy after which a whole bunch of events would begin like the Chunin exams among other things.

Yuu spent the next few hours planning his next steps and after while when he was satisfied enough with his current starter plan, he decided to go to sleep as tomorrow was the day in which he would be attending the famous ninja academy.
