CHAPTER 5

🔴 A Day Later

🔺Konoha Hokage Office

Hiruzen sitting on his chair, as if he is waiting for someone to arrive, sometime later a frail, old man, with a black shaggy hair, and his right eye was bandaged. He had an x-shaped scar on his chin. He wore a white shirt, with a black or dark grey robe over the top of it covering from his feet. The robe conceals his right arm , the man was walking with a cane and stood before Hiruzen's table, and then that man " what's the matter Hiruzen? Why did you called me? " as soon as he said it, Hiruzen got angry he balled at that man " what do you mean by why Danzo?" and he continued "Why did you send your root to the graduation exam?" just when Hiruzen said this that man named Danzo "A graduation exam ? what are you talking about Hiruzen? Even so why would I send Root?" and when Hiruzen heard this he bawled again at Danzo "Don't try to act smart Danzo!!, I know everything, Don't take me as a fool , I have said to you before and I will say it again No more children will go to Root!!" and he continued "and If you dare to lay your hand on children again, The consequences wouldn't be normal!! And now leave!!" and when Danzo was leaving Hiruzen asked Danzo " How did Takashi and Hanako died in the war ?? they are under your command right?? " and he continued " you didn't gave me a report on their death till now, " when Danzo heard this he was silent didn't spoke even a single word and he left silently and when he closed the door the only sound he made was "Tsk,"

As Danzo left from the Hokage Office, Hiruzen made sure that Danzo left and He called "Washi / Eagle Tora / Tiger" as soon as Hiruzen called those names Instantly two Anbu with Washi and Tora masked Anbu Shinobi appeared and kneeled before Hiruzen " Go and contact Minato and Sakumo and tell them to come to my office right now" ordered Hiruzen

🔴 Few minutes Later,

Two Shinobi entered the office and Kneeled before the Hokage one was a handsome man with blue eyes and spiky blond hair with jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. He wore standard Konoha Jonin uniform with two bands on both of his sleeves, blue forehead protector, and blue sandals. And the other had a kind face with dark eyes which had deep lines running underneath them. He had spiky, silver-coloured hair that reached into the middle of his back tied in a ponytail and bangs that hung over his forehead protector. He wore a standard Konoha Jonin uniform with a pair of gloves, bandages on his right arm, and the addition of distinctive short white sleeve which had red edges and the standard crest of Uzushiogakure on it. He also carried a holster worn diagonally over his right shoulder which held his Sword, The one with a Blonde hair is Namikaze Minato and the other is Hatake Sakumo

When both the shinobi kneeled before the Hokage, the Hokage spoke "Stand up, No need to be formal" and he continued "the reason I called both of you is you both need to complete an Top secret S-Rank Infiltration Mission" when Hokage finished this sentence Sakumo spoke in a polite tone "what are the mission objectives Hokage-Sama?"

Then the Hokage leaned forward over his desk, frowning soberly around the both of them and spoke in a low tone " Our sources revealed a group of Iwagakure forces just inside their borders. Two weeks from to today, representatives from Sunagakure and Kusagakure will be joining them. The evidence that our spies have managed to glean indicate that they are plotting to strike against us," and the Hokage continued " your mission is to sabotage this meeting. There should be no witnesses that can trace you back to the village, and the most important part is the representatives of the three villages must not be alive"

With a stern look he looked at both of them and spoke in a serious tone "I want both of you to understand the importance of this mission, and if Iwa, Suna and Kusa forms a pact, then it could very well be the end of Konoha" and then he continued in the same serious tone " Third shinobi war is coming, and it may very well be inevitable at this point. We have to ensure to protect the village"

"Now Go! Do not fail this mission at any cost!" the Hokage ordered both of them, Both Sakumo and Minato replied "Hai" and shunshined away

When both of them left the Hiruzen stood up and walked towards the window and gazed at the whole village and thought to himself 'Sakumo, Minato do not fail this mission at any cost'

🔴 Few Hours Later,

A Female Chunin Assistant entered the Hokage office and kneeled before Hokage and spoke "Hokage-Sama, Danzo-Sama wants to meet with you" when he heard that Hokage replied "Alright, let him in"

'why Danzo wants to speak with me now?' Hiruzen thought to himself, A little while later Danzo entered the office and spoke angrily "What is the meaning of this Hiruzen?, why would you send Sakumo and Minato to that mission without even discussing with the council?" when Hiruzen heard it he spoke in a low tone with a serious look "How did you know it? I haven't informed anyone, Unless you have spies in my office", when Danzo heard it he didn't expect this kind of outcome from Hiruzen, He thought he could fool him and before he even could answer Hiruzen spoke in the same tone with same look "now answer me Danzo, you haven't gave answer in the morning as well" to move the topic in a different direction Danzo spoke "There is a rule to discuss everything with the council right?" when Hiruzen heard this he spoke in a same tone "is there one? Then what's the point of Hokage?" and he gave a warning to Danzo "don't even try to mess up the meeting Danzo, I know you have a hand in the deaths of Takashi and Hanako" and he gazed at Danzo he have a worried look he quickly hided it "Now go! I don't want to speak to you anymore"

Danzo cannot speak anymore he wanted to send his root for the meeting for his own benefits , now he have to think twice to send the root, he also didn't expect that Hiruzen would know about Takashi and Hanako.

As soon as Danzo left Hiruzen spoke in a very low tone "just let me get the proofs Danzo" and he called "Washi/Eagle" instantly an Anbu appeared before Hokage and he ordered "Inspect everyone in the administration office, if any working shinobi is from root, kill them silently, remember Do not let anyone know, complete the mission silently and quickly Now go!"

And that Anbu shunshined away
