Chapter 2 - : Hinata

Time rushed forward, and six years passed in the blink of an eye. Since the age of three, Naruto had been tirelessly training his body. Every day, he ran ten laps around Konoha Village, continuously increasing the weight strapped to his legs. After three years of hard work, Naruto's leg weights now totaled 30 jin, with an additional 20 jin on his wrists. All together, he carried fifty catties while his own weight was only sixty-five catties.

"Huh… huh…"

In a dense forest of Konoha, Naruto was panting, leaning against a large tree. He had just completed a thousand hits on the training posts. This was no simple feat, considering he was strapped with a weight of 20 kilograms. Each hit required more effort than the last.

"Yachiryu, check my attributes!" Naruto whispered inwardly.

"Yes!" Yachiryu immediately responded, displaying Naruto's attributes.

Naruto corrected Yachiryu's name, finding titles like "Master" and "Teacher" a bit uncomfortable. When he heard Yachiryu's comment, he smiled and replied, "You're mistaken, Yachiryu. Even if I enter Ninja School, I won't make rapid progress without putting in the necessary effort!"

"However, it's true that it's much better than relying solely on physical training!"

"That's right!" Yachiryu said with a grin. "Once you reach Shangnin, you'll be able to exchange for what you want!"

At this point, Naruto couldn't help but feel a surge of expectation. After breaking through to Shangnin, what would he exchange for? The only problem was his lack of exchange value—he didn't even have any right now!

After a brief rest, Naruto stood up and headed home. He had completed his training for the day and didn't want to overexert himself, which could damage his health. As he walked home, Naruto heard shouting and the sounds of scuffling nearby, mixed with a soft whimper that sounded like someone crying.

Curiosity piqued, he dashed toward the commotion, moving like a blur. Soon, he arrived at the scene to find a crying girl—Hinata Hyuga, the girl who had secretly loved Naruto for years.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?!" Naruto shouted, his anger flaring as he stepped in front of Hinata to shield her.

In his previous life, he had admired Hinata not just for her shyness, but also for her strength and determination, which resonated deeply with him. In that moment, he silently vowed, **Hinata, you must be mine, and no one can take you away!**

"Get lost, you brat! Move aside, or you'll regret it!" one of the older boys shouted, glaring at Naruto.

Naruto's expression darkened. No one insulted his parents in front of him. Although he didn't know who they were in his past life, he understood the importance of honoring them in this world. Their parents were heroes, and Naruto couldn't stand to hear anyone disparage them.

"I'll make you pay for that!" he declared.

"Ding… The mission system is officially launched…" The familiar voice of the system echoed, this time not led by Yachiryu, but the main system activating on its own.

"Ding… Trigger the quest 'Parents' Glory' to teach those who insulted your parents a lesson. This is a D-level quest worth 10 points upon completion! Do you accept?"

"Accept!" Naruto replied without hesitation, stepping forward as he launched a kick at the boy's stomach.

With a "bang," the boy was sent flying into a tree. The other two boys, terrified, fled the scene at incredible speed.

Naruto approached the fallen boy, looking down at him with a fierce expression. "You're not allowed to insult my parents. Next time, I won't go easy on you! Got it?"

"Y-Yes! Understood!" The boy stammered, trembling in fear as he scrambled away.

"Ding… Quest 'Parents' Glory' completed. You have earned 10 points!"

At last, Naruto thought, I've finally got 10 points of exchange value credited!

"Are you okay?" Naruto asked, turning to Hinata with concern.

As their eyes met, Hinata's face turned red, and she hesitated before replying, "I-I'm fine… Thank you!"

"Miss Hinata!" Naruto wanted to continue talking, but before he could, the moment was interrupted, and he quickly left. Unbeknownst to him, his speed left a lasting impression on Hinata, engraving his image in her heart.

On his way home, Naruto asked curiously, "Yachiryu, why wasn't the mission system led by you this time?"

Yachiryu chuckled in response. "No worries! The first mission is initiated by the main system, but future missions will all be led by me!"

"Good! Your voice is much better; the main system sounds so stiff!" Naruto said with a grin.

Delighted by Naruto's compliment, Yachiryu bounced happily in his space.

Finally, Naruto returned to his home, and another day came to an end.
