Chapter 41. Rescue

Kakashi moved forward and soon reached a secret place in the Konoha forest.

There is a burrow here that is very difficult to detect.

Kakashi looked around and jumped down.

After a moment, another person dressed as an ANBU wearing a cat mask jumped down. He was not tall and very young.

Natsuki walked to the entrance of the cave and touched his chin.

B was furious: "Danzo-sama, who is in charge of the Roots, has the mission for everything!"

"Kakashi is also a Konoha ninja and a companion of Konoha. Is it really okay to kill his companion?"

"Who!" B exclaimed, breaking into a cold sweat. He hadn't even realized someone was approaching.

"Uh!..." Before B could turn around, he felt a sharp pain in his head, instantly losing consciousness and collapsing to the ground.

"Get up," Natsuki said, untying A.

"Who are you?" A, unfamiliar with Natsuki, still recognized him as a Uchiha from his attire.

"My name is Natsuki Uchiha," Natsuki said calmly, contemplating whether to rescue Kakashi or simply let the Root remove his Sharingan.

"Are you the deputy chief of the Uchiha!? Why did you save me?"

A had heard of Uchiha Natsuki, causing countless losses to Danzo, who recently lost his position as advisor elder.

"I just enjoy opposing Danzo. It doesn't matter who you are."

"But…"

Natsuki's lips curled up: "I do know you."

"Aren't you one of the 60 babies Danzo stole back then?"

"What!?" A was shocked!

"Danzo-sama stole me!?"

Natsuki nodded: "Yes, Danzo took you, and Orochimaru was responsible for conducting human experiments on you. It seems there's only one of you left now."

A said excitedly: "Do you have any evidence!?"

He raised his eyelids: "I have my own intelligence channels, and I have no intention of proving it to you. Believe it or not."

"Danzo has been recruiting all kinds of people over the years to realize his ambitions under the pretext of protecting Konoha."

"This!..." A was shocked. The person he was loyal to turned out to be this kind of person!?
