Chapter 3- Gone

I walked into the bathroom, humming a song in my head.

As I washed my hands, a strange feeling washed over me.

It felt like someone was...watching me.

I looked behind me, and no one was there.

I look in the mirror, my eyes flickering between violet and white.

I jump back, afraid to say the least.

You don't have to be afraid...

"What?! Who's talking to me?!"

I look around frantically, and female snickering fills my skull.

It's me...Nameless. Do you remember me, Celia?

"Y-You were in the ouija board...weren't you? You said you were a very bad spirit. Why are you here?"

I'm not necessarily there, child. I'm in your head. But you can talk to me and I can talk to you.

"Why?! Why are my eyes flickering?! Why are they white?!"

That's just me, hun. No need to worry. Can you do me a small favor? I'll do you something in return.

"I guess, but your a very bad spirit! Are you going to hurt other people?! Hurt me?!"

I won't hurt you, but I might have to hurt someone in return. So, do you agree?

"Sure..."

Great. I need you to go over to 9835 Greenberg Lane, okay?

"That's not too hard..."

No, but I'm going to need you to let me take control.

"Control?! You?! That sounds scary."

Don't worry, dear. I won't harm you or anything. You'll just watch.

"Okay..."

Are you ready?

"Yeah."

Good.

My eyes start to flicker violently, stopping at a pure white shade. My hair turns a silvery color, and an inverted Latin cross that looks like its permanently there. A tattoo maybe?

"Hello, world. I'm back."

Nameless sniggers under her breath, teleporting us to the address.

It looks to be a warehouse.

A dagger and a gun appear in her hand, and she smirks.

"Time to die, Ethan."

She laughs again, swiftly moving into the warehouse.

Nameless walks inside, where booming music is heard.

"A party, huh? And I wasn't invited? How rude. Whatever. They can die too. I like the feel of blood on my hands...and on the walls. It's like red paint..."

She rests her hand on the doorknob, watching as it doesn't even budge.

"Oh come on..."

She rolls her eyes, giving the door a simple kick and watching as it flies across the room, taking a person out before smashing into the wall.

Everyone pauses their dancing, and Nameless smiles.

"Wassup, bitches! Guess who's back from the fucking ouija board for revenge! Me!"

She lets four shots go off in the air, watching as some people just panic and other people pull out their guns.

"Get out of here. We don't know who you are, but you aren't welcome. And we sure as hell can beat your ass."

"I'm insulted that you don't know who I am. Devil's sister? I work with the Grim Reaper sometimes?! Still don't ring a bell?!"

"Nameless."

"That's me, boo. As a gang meant to kill supernaturals, you sure aren't familiar with them. Stupid ass bitch."

"We can beat you, that's for sure."

"You know what's "for sure"?"

Nameless shoots five people in a row, watching as they all drop dead.

"I always win a gunfight. And in case you've forgotten,"

Bolts of pure white lighting travel up her arms, creating a ball of sparking white light with an upside down cross in it.

"I have powers. And I'll electrocute you all if you don't tell me where he is."

"Like hell we would ever tell you."

"Wrong choice, buddy."

She throws her dagger, watching as it pierced his chest with a sickening sound, that seems to make Nameless laugh.

"Now, who wants to die today? If you don't, I suggest you tell me right the fuck now where Ethan is."

"H-He's in his office, three d-doors down."

"Wow. Just ratted him out like that...I know where his office is already. I just wanted to torture you guys."

Nameless throws her ball of electricity at them, watching as it makes a mini sonic boom and explodes them all.

Chewing her gum which she got out of nowhere, Nameless travels down the hall to the leaders office.

"Soulless, makes sense considering they kill the people who have no souls. L-O-L. I'm too lazy to open the door..."

Nameless shrugs, kicking down the door with a loud crash and sliding inside.

"Rise and shine, bitch! Are you ready to die?!"

She looks around, and nobody's there.

"Perfect. And now they're gonna—"

She hears the loading of a gun then feels the cold metal pressed against her temple.

"Surprise, bitch."

"Woah, Acheron, no need to get so close with that gun. You aren't even part of soulless, you're a supernatural yourself...why kill an ally?"

"You are not an ally, Nameless, and I want to know how the fuck you got out of that ouija board."

"I have my ways. Now back the fuck up...I have some killing to do. We can chat later."

Nameless throws a little ball of light at him, which causes him to disappear.

"Goddamn it! I should've set her annoying ass on fire!!"

She rounds the corner, seeing Ethan, his wife, and his cute little daughter with them.

Nameless has a soft spot for children...just not the one she's possessing at the moment.

"Well, hello there. Funny seeing you there. Time to die!"

"Wait! Please don't kill us! Our daughter is in great pain!"

She flicks her eyes towards the little girl, who has vines crawling up her arms and neck.

She's a supernatural as well.

Nameless tucks her gun and knife away, stepping closer to the little girl.

"What's your name, dear?"

"A-A-Aspen..."

"You're so weak, what's happening to you?"

"I don't know...it hurts. I can create vines, but these are trapping me."

"A nature spirit..."

Nameless picks up the girl, and the mom and dad look horrified.

"I'm going to help her...for now you guys can wait in hell."

She sends an orb of light towards them, that sends them deep into the pits of hell.

Nameless's original home.

She looks down at Aspen, who doesn't seem afraid of her one bit.

"Are you not scared of me, little girl?"

"No, Miss. I think you're quite pretty...are you going to help me?"

Nameless scoffs in her head.

She can't take nature spirits and their kindness seriously.

Pretty?

Nameless doesn't even have pupils. Or irises. Just the white and only the white...that's what demons look like after all.

"I am going to help you...you're coming with me, okay? I'll help you get out of those vines."

"Thank you, Miss. Why do people think you're evil? You're quite nice."

"Not to all, child."

"Can I ask what your name is?"

She looks down at the girl, and she smiles.

"Nameless."

*****************

Nameless walks right out into the open, seeing a familiar man with a huge scar across his left eye standing in front of a large group of men and women armed with weapons that paralyze the supernatural.

She sees Acheron, that nasty son of a bitch, Aquamarine, the water spirit, Gale, the wind spirit, Eliana, the energy spirit, Israel, the ice spirit, Lauriel, the light spirit, and wait a minute...Aspen?

She's all grown up now, as Nameless can see.

I remember when I first met the little girl.

Nameless steps forward with them, and when her and Acheron catch eyes his widen.

"Nameless, what're you doing here?! Get out!"

"I can fight as well. And besides..."

Nameless smirks, pointing with her freshly sharpened dagger to the man in the middle.

"Ethan found a way back from hell! Too bad his wife didn't, boo-hoo."

Nameless steps in front of them all, watching their terrified expressions.

"Acheron, I thought you said you trapped her."

"I did. But then she possessed someone and can take control of their body whenever she wants. The original girl is trapped inside her brain until Nameless leaves."

Gale sucks his teeth, and Nameless rolls her eyes.

"Don't act like you didn't miss me."

"Of course I didn't miss you. You killed my dog!"

"The bitch bit me! What did you think I was going to do, Gale? Pet it and give it some dog treats?!"

"She's not an it, she's a she!"

"I don't care!"

"Umm...guys?"

Nameless and Gale turn back to the gang members.

"Ohh, what's up, guys? How was hell? Sorry I didn't get to visit you,I was having too much fun possessing this girls body!"

She laughs, and when they don't she rolls her eyes.

"I can't with you."

"Would it be best if we unleashed our demons? It would make it easier to fight. And we do know how to control them..."

Aquamarine says, and Acheron looks at her.

"I mean, we could..."

They all nod, and their eyes start flickering until they stop at a pure color.

"I'm back, world! Lauriel finally let me out!"

"Shut up, Lilith. No one likes you."

Everyone's demons cackle with laughter, forming together in a group of evil beings with glowing eyes.

They all have their powers ready, Nameless with her electricity, Astaroth with his flames, Lilith with her light orbs, Lucy and her water, Abaddon and his ice, Azrael and his wind, Ardat Lili and her vines, and Empusa and her energy.

"Well, fellow demons of hell, are you ready?"

They all smirk, and everyone on Soulless gets their supernatural weapons ready.

"Soulless, are you ready to get your ass beat?"

Nameless makes eye contact with the man in the middle.

"Ethan, are you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be, Nameless."

*************

(DRAVEN'S POV)

That bitch really tied me up in here.

With rope that paralyzes me.

I hope she knows when I get my hands on her, I'll snap her pretty neck like a pretzel stick.

I look around the room, at the shadows on the walls.

"Are you going to help me or what? Don't just sit there you idiot."

Female giggling fills the room.

"Sorry, Master. Lamia at your service."

A pretty woman comes from the shadows, along with another one.

"Me and Lamia were looking for souls...we were hungry."

"Whatever, Zeline. Can you two get these off?"

"Anything for you..."

They slide over, unraveling the rope and watching as Draven can move again.

"Thanks you two."

"No problem...we have to go now, bye bye!"

I roll my eyes.

"Bye."

As I stand up, my eyes start to flicker between blue and black.

"Not now, Shadow."

"Why not? Everyone else's demons are out, why not unleash your own?"

"Because I have multiple demons, Shadow. More than one. And it always turns out bad. And by bad I mean with death."

"Don't worry, we'll keep it all under control. May the darkness lead your side, Draven."

My eyes start to flicker blue, then black, then white, then gray, stopping on a pitch black.

"Hello, world. Shadow, Shade, Vengeance, and Paine are back."

Wicked snickering escapes my mouth.

Shadow.

Shade.

Vengeance.

And Paine.

My four demons...who now have full control over me.

Sometimes I can't with those two girls. They get on my nerves...besides, now I can go join the battle.

And get my revenge on good old Nameless.

That bitch will pay for what she did to me.

What better way to get revenge then a little pain?

*************

(SWITCHING BACK TO NAMELESS'S POV NOW)

Fighting.

I find such joy in it.

Death.

Makes me feel warm.

Blood.

Such a pretty color, no?

Perhaps I'm insane. Well, I am insane.

What did you expect from a wicked, psychopathic death spirit/demon?!

As I finish off who I think is the last one, I stand up.

The clouds go dark overhead and a small smirk spreads across my face.

The Man of Darkness is coming back.

Can't wait until he tries to crush my bones...I bet his demons are in control now.

Such a bitch, aren't I?

Trapped him with a paralyzing rope made especially for him.

I'm tired of not being able to have full control...but I will soon.

I think I've found a way...

Dark black bolts and neon blue bolts of lightning strike in the sky, and as the luminescent rain falls down on me I see the glint of blue in his eyes.

He's still in there.

Just like Celia is still there.

"Shadow, Paine, Shade, or Vengeance? Which one are you?"

"What do you think?" He seethes, and when I look at his pitch black eyes I smile.

"You let Shade take control, the most chaotic, violent, and strongest demon of many you have. What're you planning to do? Snap my neck like a pretzel stick?"

I laugh, and Shade rolls his lifeless looking eyes.

"Shut the fuck up, Nameless."

"No thanks."

I stand up completely, staring up at him with a taunting look.

"What're you waiting for? If you want to kill me, kill me. I'm already dead. Six feet under. I'm just an extremely powerful demon, almost more powerful then my brother, Apollyon. The devil himself."

"Doesn't mean I can't rip your organs out one by one."

"You'd be ripping out my host's organs. Celia's organs."

He backs me into the wall, and I continue to look up at him with a devious grin.

"I meant what I said when I said you were going to pay for this. What a better way then you to feel pain? Lots and lots of pain?"

"I think you'd want your last moments with your favorite death spirit to be a little more memorable, no?"

He rolls his eyes again.

"You are extremely annoying. Does anyone ever tell you that?"

"Yes. You. Every single day."

I smile, and freeze when I hear the click of a gun.

A gun meant to kill the supernatural.

My eyes trail behind him, and I look at him with an uneasy smile.

"Whatever you do, do not move. Just, stay there..."

He looks confused, and I quickly make a ball of electricity.

"I hope you like lightning, asshole."

I throw the orb at the guy behind Shade, watching as a strike of pure white lightning strikes him and he falls dead.

"There you go. Now you don't have to kill me."

I slip from between his arms.

"Because I saved your life."

"Doesn't mean—you know what? Fine."

"Oh no."

"What?"

Shade turns around as well, and we both look at each other.

"I guess we didn't realize that we left a whole entire group of hunters out. Let's go kill them. Capiche?"

"Okay."

Me and Shade charge forward, shadows of all shapes and sizes charging forward with Shade like he's part of them.

Flares of lightning trail up my arms, creating a sparking mass of electricity in both my hands.

My eyes start to flicker, and I curse myself in my head.

Celia's trying to come back.

Not now, Celia. I'm handling something.

Let me out of my own brain you fucking psychopath! This isn't funny!

I'm trying to save our lives here. You can't control your—

Too late.

My eyes stuck on violet, and just like that I'm gone. Banished to the depths of Celia's mind again.

***************

(CELIA'S POV)

My heart pounds in my chest.

Wait a minute, what...?

My eyes dart around, at all the battle and chaos going on.

My eyes land on a huge mass of fire in the distance, and then someone on the floor, writhing in pain.

I jump up quickly, running over on my wobbling feet.

Acheron, no.

I crumple on my knees, shaking him once as he's gone still.

"Acheron? Hey, do you hear me?!"

*************

(ACHERON'S POV)

Her face was hovering over mine, and I was in so much pain that I really thought she was Nameless, again.

"Acheron! Listen to me! Don't close your eyes on me, okay? What happened?! Talk to me!"

She grabs my face in her hands, shaking me once more.

Her voice was fading, she was fading, or is it just my vision?

I hold onto my stomach, and she removes her hands from my face and onto my stomach.

She lifts up my shirt, gasping and falling back a little.

"Acheron?! What is happening to your stomach?"

There's a inky black hole growing on the surface of my stomach, orange liquid oozing from it and it sizzles on my skin.

"Why is there a hole in your stomach?!"

I lift my shaky hand towards the growing mass of fire I'm too weak to put out, the one with the man's dead body inside of it.

She peers closer, her eyes landing on his hand and the gun that lays in it.

"The gun did that to you?!"

I don't answer, and my eyes start to drift shut.

"Answer me!! Don't close your eyes!!"

She looks around for someone, because I'm sure she doesn't know what to do.

But no one's here.

Lauriel got too weak to handle anything, and trapped some of the enemies in an orb of light.

Gale ran with Aquamarine, because Aquamarine was shot and he had to save her.

Draven is fighting off most of the herd of hunters, whilst Eliana is healing the others.

When I was fighting, one shot me in the back, and the hole spread through to my stomach.

"Acheron, I'm going to help you, okay? You'll be okay."

I don't have the balls to tell her there's nothing she can do. That it's over for me.

****************

(BACK TO CELIA'S POV)

I can do it, right?

Can I save him?

The more I sit here and dwell on what to do, the more the black hole grows and absorbs his stomach.

I know I have powers, but do I really know how to use them?

I focus on the beating of my heart, and my hands as they start to tingle.

Veins of glowing violet swirl up my arms, and I smile to myself.

Not Nameless's powers. Mine.

A dark violet orb forms at my hands, and I hope with everything I have that this'll work.

Because if it doesn't I'll lose him forever.

The inky darkness crawls towards his heart, as his eyes start to droop.

"No! Keep your eyes open for a little longer, okay?"

He only weakly groans in response.

I take my glowing hands and raise them towards his stomach, making eye contact with Acheron before I do.

"This might hurt, okay?"

His eyebrows furrow.

I press my hands onto his stomach, watches as it sparks and sizzles.

My eyes widen.

Purple fire?!

I watch as the darkness sucks back into one spot, imploding on itself and disappearing.

I immediately take my hands out, squeezing my eyes shut as the small bluish purple fire dies down.

I open my eyes, seeing that the wound healed.

But Acheron's eyes are closed.

And he's not moving.

"Acheron?!"

He blinks a few times, his hazel eyes finding mine.

"Oh my gosh! You nearly gave me a heart attack...are you okay?!"

"I'm fine. Thank you."

I smile at him.

"You're welcome."

*************

(BACK TO ACHERON'S POV)

She grabs my hand, smiling.

She looks around, then back at me.

"I think we should go now, Acheron. This is getting really bad."

"Probably the best idea. I'll call the warlocks and witches, they'll know how to handle the rest."

I stand up, helping Celia up as well.

I feel someone grab me from behind, restraining me and tasing me with a paralysis taser as another person grabs Celia's arms, tasing her with some sort of paralyzing taser.

My eyes widen as they grab her, putting a gag over her mouth.

My heart stops at the pleading look in her eyes, and the feeling that I can't do anything to help her as she's dragged away into the van hits me.

The person runs away with the rest of the gang and Celia, and I hear deep snickering inside my head.

Astaroth.

Should've let me take over, Ronny-Boy. Now look...your girlfriend is gone. Who knows? Maybe she's even dead.
