'No, I know you left because you were forced to. I'm waiting.'

Nagi put her phone back in his pocket after he turned it off, the message bothering him a bit. The car drove into a large house yard that looked left behind and also shabby, also surrounded by high wall railings around it. There was Alex and also others who had been waiting for him outside, Alex seemed to be upset waiting for Nagi's arrival since just now.

Nagi parked the car, then got off. He deliberately left his suit jacket in the car leaving only a white shirt on it.

"You are so long. See him right away and you'll find out," Alex said following Nagi walking behind him.

Nagi traced through the dimly lit passages. The quiet atmosphere was the first thing that greeted her making Nagi even wider. Not being able to smell any pheromones did not interfere with Nagi's life at all this time and here he could smell the dust and humid air in this enclosed space.

"In the same place?" asked Nagi without looking back.

"No, two rooms from the former," Alex replied behind him. He didn't really care about the move, but this was really troublesome, this house did have a lot of worn rooms but the further Nagi stepped up there would be a lot of dust along the corridor that he could breathe.

Nagi kept walking and found a large closed door there, the place Alex was referring to. He made a gesture for Alex not to come in and let Nagi see for himself what the conditions were inside. He opened the door and found a much darker atmosphere than in the previous corridor which was still illuminated by a little light from the yellow lights.

He walked in by slightly closing the door behind him, no sound of any kind came from inside when Nagi came in. He only found a long shadow of a person in front of the window that was the only source of illumination. Nagi's arrival did not seem to attract so much attention from the people who were there. The previous aggressive attitude from a few weeks ago Nagi met has disappeared altogether.

Until at last, it was Nagi who broke the silence between them with a question coming out of the tip of his tongue. "Why run away?"

Nagi didn't become someone who is an expert in speaking let alone start a conversation like this, making small talk is not his forte and it is also not important to do it now. The age difference between Nagi and her became one of the things that made Nagi sometimes choose not to say too much.

There was no answer Nagi got, but it was a long time ago that this man didn't respond to anything with words. The man was still there with his back to Nagi until he chose to return home after seeing his condition. All returned to normal.

When Nagi turned around, suddenly a hoarse voice like never used could be heard coming into his ears. It is piercing and also full of thorns. "Why do you smell of my daughter?"

Nagi stopped stepping, he turned to find that the man was already facing him, Nagi couldn't quite see clearly the expression on his face, but he could feel the anger that was creeping around the room at this time. He kept his mouth shut, not understanding what the man really meant.

"What did you do to my daughter?" the man asked to which Nagi never answered. His angry and impatient tone made Nagi remember what he had done before, but no one was with him at this time, he didn't even sleep with anyone. Nagi couldn't smell his own pheromone, of course even the others Nagi couldn't do it.

"What do you mean? I'm not with anyone." Nagi replied in a flat tone and this time he could see clearly his face. Ocean. The name of the early forty-yearly man looked tired, as usual, and Nagi certainly didn't sympathize with it or himself indeed didn't care about it.

"Don't lie, although I have been in this trash can for so many years I still remember my own daughter's pheromone." This is the longest sentence Nagi has ever heard that feels like it has been a dozen years. He knew that this man had a child, but Nagi certainly had never met him. It turned out that being locked up in this kind of place made Ocean's mind a little disturbed.

Nagi snorted. "I don't know who you mean."

He didn't even need to explain anything to this man older than him. So, Nagi simply turned out and locked the big door back.

"How is it? Did you notice it just now?" Alex suddenly asked directly with him as Nagi turned to leave.

Nagi didn't answer, he walked quickly about to go home and then take a warm bath. Very weary and also his mind needed a rest for a while, before tomorrow he had to go back to struggling with endless paperwork or it could be that his father called him to start telling him to do this and that.

Massaging her twitching forehead when he had been outside the house, Nagi paused for a moment then turned to look at Alex then started talking, "He said kissing his daughter's pheromone to me."

Alex was like someone who had just found his missing item. He walked closer to Nagi who was frowning his eyebrows in confusion, then Alex sniffed blatantly.

"With the Omega before?" asked Alex taking a considerable distance from Nagi as he crossed his arms.

Together in what terms does this Alex mean?

"I told you before. Met Sean was delivering Pizza."

"Well, she's his daughter then," Alex said casually.

When he knew that fact, he just didn't expect that the world was so small like this and maybe it was indeed a mistake on his part. Nagi knew the man had a child and was also a wife when he locked his up there a few years ago but didn't expect the child in question to be Sean.

"I used to see him very young, I thought she was going to be an Alpha," Alex said back when Nagi didn't respond.

"Can't wait anymore to end it," Nagi said casually. However, it is not. He suddenly thought of Brian if he knew this, what would she do? Although Sean himself knew, there was nothing the man could do because Sean was just an Omega, right?

It felt like it had been fourteen years and everything that happened here wasn't entirely Nickolette's family's fault. This is simply a promise.

"No, aren't we unable to do it?" Alex's voice interrupted Nagi's mind again.

Nagi stepped towards his car before he entered turning his head first at Alex and then saying, "If he tries to escape again, then end it."
