Child of Alora

Alora had been well treated during her time in the End. She became quite fond of Maiguh's three daughters, though she could sense there was a bitterness among them. They were desperate for story of the world they were born in, but Alora had few. Still they listened to every detail in a fevered way, Alora pitied them for that. Maiguh would eventually call them off when they tired her to much.

Alora's child grew and grew within her, and despite everything Alora loved her child deeply. She often whispered to them. Then came the day her child was to be born. She knew not to tell anyone of the childs parent and insisted only on the help of one of Maiguh's daughter, a girl she'd grown more fondly of, the daughter named Dinetee.

Alora's child was a girl, whom Alora named Elsbeth. She heeded her mother's warning and regretfully knew she couldn't stay with Maiguh any longer. She took her mothers gift and struck fire to the obsidian frame, but before she could step through Dinetee and her sisters found her leaving. They begged her to come with her and she hesitantly accepted them. But only if they agreed to stay with her. Maiguh appeared far in the distance. Fearful he intended to stop them Alora and the daughters left quickly through the portal and found themselves in a fiery place, young Elsbeth started to cry in fear. The daughters built the portal to the overworld while Alora soothed the baby, once it was done the four stepped through in the sunlight.

Dinetee, Nevlin and Endra all froze as they took in the world around them. Dinetee fell to her knees to pick a flower. They were stunned, and though Alora wanted to allow them to enjoy their new home, she knew they must move to find shelter. Carrying Elsbeth, Alora felt a new sense of purpose, she was a mother now and all her energy would go to protecting her child. She was determined that her child would never suffer her own fate at the hands of Onicent, so though it pained her she knew she couldn't see her sisters any longer. When they reached a clearing Alora declared this was the site of their new home. She sent the girls into the woods to gather logs. That was when with one hand Alora touched the ground for the first time, she felt power surge through her, focusing it she sculpted a small plant, but from it sprung a green block. She knew now what she was patron of, for the plant told her what she already knew. Her body took on a more bright yellow.

When the girls returned from the woods they were awed by Alora's transformation, but she quickly dismissed it and set to work with them. That night Alora put her child to bed in her home. She knew as long as she was standing no one would hurt Elsbeth, or else she'd make the world suffer.
