Wave 1.

It didn't take long for V and Shad to reach the entrance gate that was now guarded by men and women carrying firearms and other weapons. V and Shad quickly found a place to take a position as they wait for the beasts to appear.

They are different between beast wave and beast tide. Beast wave comes one after the other with the weaker ones attacking first, while a beast tide comes all together both the weak and strong. Nevertheless, though the roars of the beast could be heard from the distance, no beast is yet to be seen that's why everyone was currently sitting in position while preparing their minds and strength.

Meanwhile, V was using this opportunity to restore his losing stamina and why he was doing this he also asked Shad a question concerning his hand and after Shad was through explaining what happened V was left wondering what could have done this.

They are a different form of healing a skin wound to regrowing the limb, of course V was suspecting Nate and his group might be hind this but his thoughts were interrupted by a beast roar.

Roar!!!

It was not coming from the ground but from up and when they all looked up, A bat-like creature could be seen, the only difference between the beast and the bad was that the bird's wind was too wide and it even linked back to its feet, except that, the bat has a leg that looks like a human hand. Looking at it from the height up, its size was like that of a car or less, however as soon as the bat appeared, more was following behind with the same features.

Soon the bats started to descend on them while stretching out their legs as they carried a man and leapt into the sky. Seeing this everyone started shooting.

Even V and Shad have to cancel their decision. Shad quickly set his equipment in position and started firing at the beast. Meanwhile, V started to run forward into the distance leaving Shad stunned.

"What is he doing?"

Shad and V weren't the only people among the heads that were fighting against the beast.

The hospital base compound was vast and on top of that, they still were a fence wall that went around the base since Shad and V were at the Northern side of the base, Lily and the others were at the Western side and they were facing a different problem.

Running out from the bushes was a wolf-like creature, their furs were red. If Nate was here, he would have recognized the beast as the blood dog, the first opponent he faced after starting the game. However, the only difference now was that they were moving in what seemed like a pack.

As they came in sight of the base army, rains of bullets were being sent their way. few were taken down while were injured, regardless, They were still pushing further towards them.

"We need to prevent them from passing this gate, they weren't able to do it before and they won't be able to do it now!" Ron standing on top of an armoured car with a matching gun placed in front of him grabbed the handle of the gun and started pulling the trigger at the dogs.

His gun was a high-quality gun and just a bullet or more in the head will be able to take the dogs down. He wasn't the only one fighting. Standing beside him with also a gun was Lily.

She wasn't that much great at fighting but at a time like this, she know her presence was needed if not for any other thing but to cheer the people that were willing to fight up.

Regardless of this, what they were preventing was finally coming, as the dogs were being shot down, they are those that were still not touched and they were now clashing into them. Some leapt on their men while biting them down on the floor, with this going on, most of those that were heading towards their were getting closer since their men are being taken down.

Struggling so hard to ignore the crisis before her, Lily was trying her best to shoot down some of the beasts near.

Honestly, the only thing she was skilful at was things concerning medical care and so on but anything that has to do with the fight, she was zero skilful on that.

Regardless, there is someone else that was standing with his body tilted upon the car, this was Johnson. Despite his old age, he still was using a pistol gun to shoot at the beast, though it was doing close to no harm to them it was serving as a perfect distraction for them.

Eventually, he had just run out of bullets and was in the process of changing the magazine when one of the dogs spotted him and splinted towards his way."Shit!" he cursed when noticing this and his hand started to tremble and the magazine fall off his hand. 'I gone, ' he thought as the dog leapt towards him.

He closed his eyes and raised his arms to cover his head, however, the pain he was expecting never came. He was prompted to open his eye to see Ron standing before him.

"Take the ones up and make sure not to die," he said as the scythe behind his back was pulled out. It turned out that Ron had seen the dog going towards Johnson and had acted. He had pulled out one of the scythes behind him and swung it at the beast slicing it into two parts.

"Make sure not to shoot me," He said and splinted into the clouds of incoming dogs, but one thing he failed to notice was his speed, he was running faster than usual. However, someone else noticed.

"How can he be running so fast, how is he possible," Johnson thought to himself in shock, but he snapped out of it when he saw more of the dogs heading towards him. He was quick to grab hold of the machine gun and started shooting at the beasts.

Meanwhile, Ron has to find clash into the pack of dogs and he swung the scythe all at once sending some heads flying, eight head to be precise. Right after that, he shifted to the others and kept on swinging the scythe around.

"Isn't that Ron?" Lily asked when she saw this.

"I know, but we don't have the time to celebrate, more of this is coming and I bet this is the first wave, we have to do more," Johnson said and soon.

The military vehicle he was standing on with the machine gun started to move forward and a few others behind followed.

Slowly but steadily, the first wave of the beast was been cleared and Ron was helping a lot in the fight. However, they all stopped when the ground started to rumble as the lizard beast jumped out in front of them and swung its tail.

Most likely, it was heading towards Ron who was ahead of the others and he started running out of the way. But the tail was just going too fast and he was caught off guard.

However, a ray of blue light just came from his front, they passed him and hit the tail, blasting it into pieces. It didn't stop there, more of the laser kept coming as more of the lizard beast was coming out from the bush.

The first wave has been cleared, and now it was the second wave.

Far from into the distance, V was looking at what was happening on the other side. 'I can't explain why I can see this far,' he thought as more dots kept on popping on his interface licking the weak spots of his enemies and where they are hiding.
