Peter vs whitebonez 1.

The whitebonez that was blocking the path of the vehicle was no different from the one Nate killed. It has two snake mouth tentacles and still has its hunch back curving almost like a circle with its sharp teeth and claws ready to be used on the people inside the vehicle.

Meanwhile, Nate has just received a notification from the system and the surprising part about this notification was that he was given a quest to survive, however, Peter wasn't someone that will be bothered by the system quest. He believes he can simply outrun the whitebonez if it turned out he wasn't able to finish it off.

This was the progress Peter have made so far after fighting the matrix plus the troubles he stumbled onto while journeying to forever winter island.

With all this, he was confident that he can deal with the whitebonez despite the system saying he can't.

Meanwhile, the vehicle came to a total stop on seeing the whitebonez.

"What is that thing and how is it possible that such a thing can be in the is," the driver said. The passengers of the bus were already panicking no doubt and were even mumbling but when met with the gaze of the driver, they all kept quiet but were still scared.

"Stay came, I will find a way to revise the car and head back, I'm sure those at the border have some explanations to do," the driver said and was slowly moving the long vehicle back.

But they noticed that the whitebonez was also slowly stepping forward and its gaze was mainly focused on them.

'Fool, I can't you see we have no choice here!' Peter caused the driver since he felt like the man was delaying the action from happening.

Eventually, the driver was fed up and kicked hard on the accelerator making the vehicle move backwards in a quicker motion.

The whitebonez rather than slowly taking steps forward sprinted after the car and before the driver could do anything, the whitebonez thrust its tentacles that pierced through the front glass of the car and bit down on the driver.

That wasn't all. The driver's body was pulled out of the vehicle and slammed on the ground. The other tentacles grabbed onto the man's leg and the two tentacles started pulling towards the opposite side in an attempt to split the man up.

Meanwhile, far though but not too far from the whitebonez scene, a man was watching the scene in disappointment. 'Another failure, but I will keep on trying till I eventually solve this reasoning problem,' the man thought to himself and left the scene not caring to offer help for the group that is now suffering from his creation.

Whereas back in the bus, having seen the terrible ending of the driver, the passengers inside the bus were shocked and frightened to the core. Regardless, they are dose who managed to snap out of it and act for their safety.

A man quickly rushed to the driver's sit and took over by continuing to step on the gas for the bus to move backwards.

Of course, this caught the attention of the whitebonez again as it sprinted towards the bus again. Seeing this, the new driver was frightened to the extent that his body was not responding to his mind anymore.

The whitebonez tentacles came flying towards the man and the snake head was ready to bite him when a loud bang sound was heard and the snake head was blown up instantly.

"Everyone, at the side of your site, there is a gun minigun, grab it and let's kill this thing," a blond-haired woman in the same uniform as theirs spoke, she was holding two pistols in both hands and kept on firing at the whitebonez.

Peter recognized the woman's voice as the one that was speaking to the two men in the queue. 'That's not how a female behaves in circumstances like this, she must have been through a lot to have so much boldness and bravery attached to her personality,' Peter commented.

As everyone was reaching out to the pistol gun on their sit, Peter was doing nothing other than observing their progress and it was not good at all.

The whitebonez tentacles have regrown and it was thrust again at the bus, however, this time, it was aiming at the wheel other than prey.

The tire of the bus was flattened instantly and based on the speed at which the bus was moving, the inner layer of the wheel was scratching on the floor and the friction was sprinkling sparks of heated metal all over the car and on unlucky for the passengers has fallen into the most vital place in the call engine that lit the front wheel part on fire.

Eventually, the bus came to a stop but the fire was still burning.

All that just happened has caused some discomfort inside the bus and many have lost balance with a few having sustained bone dislocation.

The blond hair lady quickly checked on the driver and found out that his neck was a bit marked with green liquid flowing out from it. In short, the man was unlucky and have bitten by the tentacle snake.

She didn't bother to waste time on the man and help the others up. "Quick, get up, we have to get out of here, or else we all will die!" she shouted and helping the others up.

"But if we had to go outside, that beast will kill us," a man that luckily didn't sustain any injury said.

"And if we stay here, this vehicle will soon explode and we will all die," the blond lady said.

"Flack, why are you still having your helmet on, in a situation like this, the air is one thing we all need," The blond hair lady said.

Peter hasn't gotten used to the new name Flack but decided to play along to avoid blowing up his cover. "I don't need air," Peter responded leaving the lady confused.

The group was planning to use the back exit of the bus as its door was still closed and they can still hear the noise of the whitebonez from the front it's tentacles could still be seen trying to sneak into the bus but it would be shot dead instantly.

"Once were are outside, this race will be the OYO type, save yourself," The blond lady said and opened the door.

However, on opening the door, they all came face to face with the same whitebonez and everyone started to step back in horror.

"Shit, we are cornered, if only we have those enhanced weapons from the camp, we wouldn't be in a situation like this," the lady muttered as she quickly closed the door and the whitebonez body slammed into the door leaving a large dent.

Heading back to the driver's side would have been their only choice here but dark smoke was already covering the front and they are toxic for them to breathe.

In these desperate conditions, Peter of all people decided to act. "Open the door," he demanded. Peter instantly got a look from the others that asked him if his mad or not.

However, when the inventory mist covered his hand and a rifle he has took from Flack appeared, everyone on the bus seems to understand what was happening.

'A superhuman, this might be our only chance of getting out of this mess alive,' the blond lady didn't hesitate to open the door and the first thing Peter did was fire out a few shots at the whitebonez before tossing the gun to the blond lady. "Assist me," Peter said and ran out of the bus.
