New zombie type.

Aside from what Mark just said Nate was wondering why the system wasn't sending a warning message as it will do, Nate was not understanding anything about the system or the meteorite stone, especially the stone.

For some reason, when he came close to the stone it lit up just like the alien spear did, however, unlike the alien spear that alarmed the system, the stone was doing close to nothing.

"Hey... Hey...!!!" Mark has to wave a few times in front of Nate to snap him out.

"Did you even hear what I said?" Mark asked raising his eyebrows.

"You have found another power source and by the way, what does that mean?" Nate answered while throwing out his question. Even though he was in a daze, he still heard the last phrase of Mark's speech.

"I was about to do that but you were not listening, anyway, I will continue now that I have your attention," Mark said as he place the stone back into a transparent glass cube, even with it inside the case, it was still glowing, but Nate and the others could no longer feel the energy coming out from it.

"What was that?" Bull asked. They all could see the sweat on his forehead, and he was not the only one sweating, the others included Lyon himself, as for Peter, they can not tell because he was back in his black hoodie robe.

"Just like I said, this is our new source of energy and by the way, you guys are to be happy, with this, the mothership will not be requiring any beast crystal and this means you guys can go ahead and consume as much as you can," when saying this, Mark was looking at Lyon in particular. Lyon was the person that always demand a crystal, if he wants to assist someone like Mark or Jim, he would always bargain his help with a crystal or more and the sound of him having as much crystal as he wants sounds nice to him.

"Hold it right there," Nate interrupted Mark. " if I'm correct, this crystal produces this energy when we come closer to it, then, how are you going to keep it active and steady?" Nate asked. He already know how the stone worked, starting from the alien spear to the first five groups of zombie hunters he met with, and then now, after all these encounters, Nate knew one thing was certain and that is the stones light up whenever a zombie seems to be around, the glow increase at the level of zombies or amount of zombies surrounding it.

With this stone, it made it easier for the zombie hunters to track down a zombie. However, the stone does not just only glow, at the same time, it releases energy that is not harmful to humans, with this strange energy, it will boost the power of the wielder regardless of race and gender. However, Nate was not going to touch it, he could still recall that the alien spear had done something to him the last time he used it and if the spear and the stone are made of the same thing, then there is still a chance that it could still repeat itself.

Mark was surprised that Nate know a bit about the stone but decided not to ask him, in the end, he was not even supposed to be surprised if Nate already know that the stone could do such a thing. Regardless, he answered his question.

"Maybe, someone had forgotten that he has an army of zombies waiting outside" Mark lamented and it was then it downed on Nate about what Mark was referring to.

The amount of energy and glow the stone produce depends on how strong and the number of zombies surrounding the stone at a moment, someone like Nate and Peter who are already in the second evolution of zombies were able to glow the stone hard and produce a good amount of energy from the stone, however, if a hundred of zombies at the first stage of evolution should surround the stone, they will be able to produce the same energy, as for what Mark was referring to, it was the two hundred and more zombies Nate brought back to the mothership, though they were all outside, Mark was already making space for them.

In the end, only Nate understood what Mark was saying, so for him to make the others catch up, he have to explain what he was intending to do.

"But, they are all outside, where are you planning to keep them in the ship," Dike asked, he felt like soon there will be no space left in the ship.

This question made the others look at Mark as if they were expecting a solution from him. Mark could only sigh."After all, I'm planning to make it known to you all," he mumbled.

A hologram screen appeared in the center of the room displaying a dark space, looking at it, one might mistake it as a blank screen.

"I know most of you might be confused as to why I am showing you guys a black screen, but you all should not mistake this as a black screen, instead, it is a room inside this ship, it has nothing in it so I felt like it was not necessary to make it known to you all," without further ado, everyone had already grabbed what Mark was saying...

After the explanation was done, Nate commanded all the zombies he forced initiate to line up in a single file and walk into the mother ship.

Meanwhile, Mark and Jim were inside the dark room while helping to organize the zombies, in the center of the room the stone was placed on top of a pole-like table with different varieties of wire plugged into them as the zombies were circling the stone it was glowing but all of a sudden, it's glow raised to a certain extent that exceeds what it should be and was producing a high voltage of electricity that started to speak...

Seeing this, Mark knew that something was off, "Something is not right" he thought as he started reporting to Nate and at the same time disconnected the wires from the stone.

---

Meanwhile, Nate did not need any more massage from Mark to know that something was off. The light in the sitting room sparked also and went off but that was not what is bothering Nate now, instead, it was the notification he got from the system...
