"What is going on, why would you suddenly command all zombies to fall back?" Bull asked as he approached Leo.

The other latter was quite busy at the moment, but he still spare some time to answer him.

"We just made a bad discovery. Peter reported that the colonizer's power could also affect the high-intelligence zombie," Leo explained.

By now, many other zombies that were participating in the fight had already returned and couldn't believe what he just said.

"For real... Are you telling me that even while I can resist eating human flesh, I can't do the same for that fluid?" Twain asked.

"I am sorry, but if you don't want us to take you as our enemy, then you couldn't allow yourself to be controlled," Leo said.

"Don't worry though, you can still help, with a long-range weapon, I am sure you guys can still contribute in this fight," Leo said.

There was a moment of silence from the zombies. The number of zombies was great, mainly because of Bull men. Although the Golgotha base also has its zombies, the majority of the population was made of halflings.

"How come we didn't find this out earlier, and why was it not in the information on Ozzie's lab?" A soldier asked in frustration.

As for the answer, Leo had no idea what to say. He was not expecting the fluid to be stronger enough to also affect high-intelligence zombies.

"I think I might have an idea of what happened," Kim suddenly said.

Everyone's attention was now focused on him. Leo's eyes light up. He still remembered that Kim was the one that extracted the information from Ozzie's server. 'Did he in any way tamper with the information before delivery ?' Leo wondered.

"The thing is that what if they were an evolution? From what we had, Ozzie seems to have taken the colonizer zombie to somewhere he could use its power and after that, he was teleporting it back when his ship was stolen," he said.

"Where are you getting at?" Twain asked impatiently.

"I think the reason why we had no information about the colonizer's capability at hand might be because it has evolved. Kim said.

"It made a lot of sense that why, perhaps Ozzie was not even aware of this," Leo said.

"This also made me wonder, maybe Ozzie was just another victim of his power," Mark said.

"I don't think so... Ozzie transplanted his memories and consciousness into another body if he was truly being controlled, then a lot of things that happened shouldn't have happened," Leo said.

"Can't you guys get it? None of this mumbo jumbo theory is really going to help us now," Twain said.

"Let's just stay with the plan. You guys will have to support from here. " Leo said.

"What about Peter, is he not affected as well?" Bull asked after not seeing Peter.

Leo didn't know how to answer Bull. Of course, he could roughly guess the reason why Peter was not being affected by the colonizer's power. It was none other than because of his bloodline, they were playing a great role in keeping him under control.

Leo sighed. "Perhaps while you guys are fighting, I will explain," He said.

"It's a good thing that they haven't come so deep into the affecting range of the colonizer's power," Peter said to Sin.

Sin sighed. Even he had a few of his men who mistakenly back then when the apocalypse broke out was infected by the virus. Since then, he has been keeping them underground his base hoping for a cure.

He would not want to see such people die in this fight. Clenching his fist, Sin said.

"Now all we have to do is to kill this thing," said Sin.

"But how are we going to do that?" Peter asked.

Suddenly, an idea pops into Sin's mind.

"I have an idea. Why don't you keep on looking for the matrix while I try to reduce the number of the beasts here," Sin suggested?

"Yeah... You are going to fight the tough opponent while I fight the weak ones," Peter said sarcastically.

"What do you mean... Do you think I don't want to kill the matrix myself? If only you know how much I want to shed their blood with my own hands. Unfortunately, we have to put emotions aside and work together to get a result." Sin said.

"You are faster than I am, am sure you can even kill them before they even know killed them"

Peter knew that Sin was right. He was faster and suited for the job, if only he could finish it off in time, then he might come back to meet some actions.

With this thought in mind, Peter was already out on his way.

As soon as Peter have disappeared, Sin placed his hand on his neck. There he could feel an amulet that went around his neck like a bracelet. On the centre of the amulet was a small red gemstone.

The material on Sin's neck was demon level weapon. He had used one of the crystals obtained to upgrade his gauntlet. Although that day, he lost his gauntlet to the master craft, in return, he was granted an item of weapon.

He have only tested its effect once, but now, he was about to use it on an actual battle which was exciting to him on his own.

Not long, the eyes tattoo appeared on his forehead. Sin took a deep breath.

While he did so, the red gem on the amulet glowed and veins appeared on Sin's forehead just to attach to the eye pattern.

Energy passed through his neck into his forehead and at that second, Sin's forehead shot out a blast that even his former gauntlet couldn't produce. He targeted it at the colonizer.

Boom!

The large figure's forearms exploded that seconds as a chunk of it fall to the floor.

Meanwhile, Peter didn't need to travel much far for him to see the first matrix. It was a redhead Kai and he was among some group that was sent out.

"I am surprised that you are not being affected by that thing's presence," Red said.

"Your pet is too weak to bother me," Peter replied. Red swung his hammer down on the ground.

Immediately, the earth rose, and he quickly used his same hammer to hit them sending it all flying towards Peter.

On the other hand, Peter easily was able to avoid it all and at the same time was approaching Red.

"It's time for you to die," Peter shouted and swing his scythe. Red was sliced into half.

Before his body could touch the ground though, it started to turn into dust particles.

"One down, four to go," Peter muttered and dashed off.
